The Villainess 'Simple' Life

It has been 5 years since everything and now Lyra is 15 years-old. This year, she's going to participate in the battle to determine the gifted people of the kingdom. Violet and Oliver isn't going to compete because Oliver is too old and Violet is busy planning her wedding.

"Make sure you don't get hurt on the stage. Even if you don't win, it's okay." Mother was worried for Lyra.

"Darling, don't worry. Lyra's strength is out of this worry. Haha." Father was just too proud of Lyra, after all, who can say that their kids has 6 magical powers?

Mother just sigh and said nothing more.

Lyra: "Don't worry mother, I will do just fine. Let's depart now."

The Duke's family started traveling to the battle ground. They soon arrived and started walking out of the carriage with elegance.

"Oh my, the Duke's family live up to their name!"

"Wow, Sir Oliver is just handsome! Look at Lady Lyra! Her movements are so graceful! The Duke and Duchess seems happier than ever."

"Of course, with a family like that, who wouldn't be happy? All of them are talented!"

"I heard that this year, the competition is going to be very competitive!"

"Yeah, this year, everyone is just so strong. Lady Lyra is an example of this."

Chatters could be heard from every direction as the Duke's family would to their private room. Thankfully, they soon arrived and their was no more chattering.

"I'm going to go get prepared now!" Lyra said goodbye to her parent and brother before heading off to 'practice'. Honestly, Lyra is just going to look at her opponents and see if they were weak or strong. On the way to the practice room, Lyra could see a girl bumping into the crown prince.

'Isn't that the heroine? Why is the plot moving so quickly? The prince and heroine isn't suppose to meet up until school starts. Oh well, let's listen to their conversation. Hehe.' Lyra started using a bit of her magic so that she wouldn't be detected.

(The crown prince name is Spade Lawrence. And the heroine name is Ava Mackay.)

Ava: "Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry."

Spade: "It's okay. Are you okay?"

Ava: "Yes, I'm fine." She said while blushing. Ava then started trying to get closer to the prince. But the prince stepped away.

'Wow, what is this? Isn't the heroine supposed to be innocent? Let's look into her mind." Lyra used her power to look into Ava's mind.

'Why isn't this working! I thought this would work! The crown prince is supposed to fall into my charms! Let's use a better technique.'

Ava started using her light magic to make the crown prince like her. "Why don't we practice together?"

Spade doesn't know what's going on but he feels weird all of a sudden. And when Ava started talking, he felt like he couldn't say no to her.

'Wow! Never expected this! Let's help him a bit.' (Lyra's thought)

Lyra used a little bit of her dark magic to help Spade.

"Sorry but I'm busy." Spade said to Ava.

"Wh- I mean okay, sorry for bumping into you. Bye now." Ava ran away from him like he did something hurtful. Ava thought that the prince would follow her and ask her what's wrong so she waited. Yet the crown prince just walked away like nothing happened.

'Haha, oh my goodness. That was so good.' Lyra then debated if she should do something to Ava. After all, in the future, Lyra knows that Ava would frame her for many things. But for now, she won't do anything unless Ava starts something with her.

With that, Lyra started walking to the practice room with a happy expression on her face. The people looked at Lyra before they started practicing again. Many of them didn't regard Lyra as a strong person as they never saw her using her powers. So they came to the conclusion that even though she has 6 magical powers, she's not able to control them. Even though, their parents told them to be careful in front of her, they didn't take it to heart. After all, what can a young-petite woman do?

Flashback:

This was a secret only among the top of the elites. But once, Lyra join in their discussions in place of the Duke's family because her family were all out. The a.d.u.l.ts made fun of her but she didn't really care until they made fun of her dad. She started using her powers to suffocate them. Then she told them to apologize. Most of them were stubborn about it because they thought that their magical powers were stronger than her so they didn't apologize. Lyra got more mad and said, "If you don't apologize, I'll make it so you have to suffer every morning and night. When you wake up and when you sleep, there will be such a pain that you wish you were dead."

Lyra let them off for the day. "Remember, the day after tomorrow is your last chance to come to the Duke's household and apologize to my father. They just scorned her and left the meeting. When they came home, they thought that she was crazy. But when they slept and when they woke up, they felt that their body was going to break. The pain was hurting too much! It felt like fire was all over their body and that someone was cutting them very slowly with a sharp knife!

So all of the top elite's that attended the meeting when to the Duke's household and said that they wanted to meet with Lyra. The servants told them to wait as Lyra was not home. They were in so much pain that they couldn't even reply.

An hour or two later, Lyra came home.

Lyra: "Oh, it seems that your willing to apologize now. Follow me." They started following her to her dad's study room. Lyra knocked on the door asking for her father.

Her father soon came out of the room looking surprised that all of the top elites were here. Her dad was so confused.

"After you apologize, I will remove it." All of them came apologizing to the Duke for talking bad about him and saying that they will never speak ill of the Duke's household again. The Duke was just confused but he accepted their apologies.

Lyra just smiled at her father and said nothing. "You may all go now. Remember, don't speak of this to anyone or else." Lyra said this with such a sweet smile that it was scary for them.

They promised her that this moment won't be spoken of and left running to their carriage.

And since then, none of the top elites dare to speak ill of the Duke's household fearing for their life.
