The Time When Me And My Family Went To Other World

After getting my wife back to herself and containing my own happiness from the Blessings of the Gods we looked at the Elders Rinrir with biggest grim we could muster from this second chance at life.

"Elder Rinrir, would you let us stay with yourself and your family for this night?" I said with the most respectful tone I could muster.

"Yes, children come with Granny Rir to my house, my husband will be delighted to have nice children over for the night" she said while she wiped her tears away "Tomorrow Kavko will help you two settle, right Kavy?"

"Yes, Rir, take the children for today, Brontus will also help to settle with their jobs that they can do." said Elder Kavko after looking sideways slightly embarrassed, after seeing the slate the softened quite a bit toward us"But I must say that it is quite rare for children like you to come and already be expecting a baby, how is this possible?"

"We don't either, sorry, but that is the way it is... this is the greatest gift we could get." said Nordya feeling her belly.

After that we said our goodbyes to the Patrol Team and the other Elders and went towards a big house towards the east of the church.

It was a two story house with a huge chimney and what looked like a room made out of stones, it was not very big and looked really cozy from the outside.

"Husband! Papa! We have visitors!" yelled Elder Rinrir "They are the children staying over for tonight!"

We looked startled around, she said Papa? We waited close to the doors and then a dwarf with white hair came out of the doorway in front of us, we were waiting outside the house for some reason.

"Hello, woman! Oh! You've brought kids, eh?! What're ye thinking? Do you have some bolts loose? Come in!" he says with a stout smile "Hello, kiddos my name is Dohvan, husband to Rir her' so you may call this hunk Grandpa Doh got it?" He was wearing a nice yellow colored cotton shirt, black linen pants and leather shoes and gloves, which looked quite charred on the tips, he had a face that looked very handsome he had white hair and a light grey beard with light blue eyes with a sharp glint at them, intelligent and youngish, a red nose which was actually small and a perfect smile for a dwarf, white and orderly teeth.

As we come inside the house we are able to make the details from the hallway we went in, it looked like a Dirt room, where people would change their clothes to lighter and cleaner ones, there were two doors aside from the exit we just came from, onde led to the stone room, which looked like a Blacksmithing Workshop, the other was probably to the house, which had a beautiful golden and crimson colored wood.

Suddenly the door to the house burst open and we hear a laughing maniac coming through, we got scared at such acts of bruteness from such a nice family.

"Where are they!? Those intruders on our home! I smelled some strange bastards here!"

yelled a big wolfman with a big scar over his eye, one of his eyes was blank probably blind, he also had part of his ear chopped of his other eye looked like a deep well of bloodthirstiness and had a crimson color erupting from it, he had white fur a small snout, a very large upper body with huge bulky arms and medium sized legs "What are you doing getting close to them?"

"Papa it's fine! THEY ARE NEW RESIDENTS! DON'T FIGHT THEM! GOT IT?" Elder Rinrir started to yell louder and louder.

"Bah! Where is the fun in that, also I heard you the first time, I just wanted to see some nice reactions from those two... hehehe the kid has got some promise!" he said smugly "Well I am the greatest warrior from this village, Hyugin!" As he backs off, but suddenly he receives a knuckle on his head.

"Are you dumb, dad? She is expecting one, dolt!" said Granny Rir "Apologize!"

"What!? Such blessings! Oh thank the Seven Gods! And so sorry little Wood Sprite, hope you forgive these old bones" said Hyugin "Kids, call me Master Hyu, understood?"

"Yes, master!" I stand at attention for some reason, thank the Gods he didn't eat us...

After that we had some dinner at her table which was a six place one in a rather small room, but I still couldn't let go of the feeling of cosiness, there were some chicken like soup, with some sort of bread and some salad.

"Enjoy to your hearts content!" said Granny Rir after cooking everything.

We ate for we were starving for quite some time and we after that brushed our teeth with some bamboo toothbrush and went to sleep on a couch which was big enough for two.

Early in the morning we were woken by fluffy hands, it was Granny Rir again calling us to breakfast.

We went to the dining room and there was a lot of eggs, honey, bread and some fruits with a jar of water on the side.

"Eat children, husband and papa already ate, but since you two took quite a while to wake up I am having breakfast a bit later than usual with" said Granny Rir with a smile not quite meaning what she said, probably waited for us.

We sat and ate happily since it was so tasty! Nordya was stuffing her face with honeyed fruits

"Thanks for the meals, Granny Rir!" we said gratefully.

"Hohoho, you're welcome! Now help me clean this up!" she said smiling.

We went into her kitchen, it was wide and luxurious with all kinds of shiny knifes and ladles and spoons! So many measuring cups very well made!

"Now turn that crank up and down and some water will flow from the faucet." she said pointing to a tub and faucet atop a table, there was a white tablet beside it "Take that washing stone and scrub it clean, all righto?"

I went and said "Yes, ma'am!" as I start to clean and scrub I see a blue aura close to the faucet whenever I use the crank, I ignore it and keep washing and passing to my wife so she dries it on a piece of cloth that Granny gave her.

As we finish we are greeted by Elder Kavko and Brontus.

"Hello, children, we are here to show you our beloved Arto Village!" said Elder Brontus.

So we took a walk outside of Elder Rinrir's house to visit each of the other houses through the village.

"You guys were at the Rinrir's house and her husband is the town Smith's, child, you blue one is going to work there at the Shiva Day and Asura Day, and the little Sprite is going there to learn from Rinrir's cooking and housekeeping on the same days! Neat, righto?" says Elder Kavko really pleased with herself for some reason "I shall lead you two to my house first and foremost, since it also serves as the Town Hall, which every village needs and register you officially as our new residents, okay?"

"All right Town Mayor!" Nordya said smiling at her, so cute!

"Yes, child, we shall provide you with identification" she smiled and ruffled her dark brown hair.

After we got in there were some letters atop and for some reason I could read them and said "Civil Hall, all welcome" but why could I read it? I don't recognize as the Union letters...

"Well, the letters are for those blessed by the gods, every single living being that is not mutated by Mana, the Power of Chaos as we like to call it, that has a blessing can read it within the first try, there are no kids without blessings in this world, even if it is the weakest and just of one God, you all have the weakest, but have many, which is also good in it's own way" said Brontus educating us on the truths of this world.

Wow, that's really convenient for the population, I think it must be a way to bypass the supernatural dangers around the mutated beasts. Was it someone's invention?

After we walk in there is a desk right in front of us with one chair behind it and two chairs at it's front with a couch in the left side and another desk in the right side on the same disposition of chairs, the tables were wooden ones and they had a deeper brown color from the ones at Elder Rinrir's house, it looks like both elders work here.

"We are married if you kids are wondering about it" Elder Brontus said "It has been about 60 years since we first met, she was stunning on that day... just as every other day..." he said with long awkward pauses"But let's settle the IDs, do to guys have a last name? No? Then how about taking the village name, is that fine?"

I look at Nordya, she looks at me, we were just battered by a machine gun of words that is Mr. Elder in Love Brontus, but we have to answer...

"We... don't have?" I said.

"We would like the name as gratitude for the help in this place" Nordya lowers her head.

"Please" I also lower mine.

"Then now you are Amatiron Arto and Nordya Arto, welcome to Arto Village!" said Elder Brontus "My lovely wife Kavy will do the remainder procedures, but first use the pen here on this notary."

I write and surprisingly it automatically forms my name with just a thought, wow that's amazing!

Then it was Nordya's turn and there it's done!

After turning to Elder Kavko we take one scale from each of her elbow and writes all of our names and ages on the scale plate and she also wrote the status check from the slate in the backside.

"Don't lose those okay? It's quite annoying to grow these scales of mine again!" she speaks in a tone that demands attention from us.

"Yes!" we answer her.

"Alright, now to your house!" said Elder Brontus.

As we leave the City Hall building, the Elders House, we are taken to a kind of far location from the center of the village, on the far south it's a place with quite an overgrown with wild plants kind of field and there is a small worn down house of one story.

We got a home? I look at them...

"Nobody in our village is without a house to call home!" said Elder Kavko "You children will actually be doing us villagers a favor if you took care of it..."
