The Time When Me And My Family Went To Other World

The wisp of Earthen Flame entered my body through the palm of my hand, making my hand feel burned by it, making a deep black color appear on my palm and purple blisters started to form on it, but the worst was when it started to travel through my veins, when ki first passed through it felt like lava, now it is just a warm flow, but this flame craved to consume my blood on the way, it made me boil from inside all the way from my arm towards my c.h.e.s.t, it left a black scarring pattern where it travelled, but since it was going towards the Nucleus I was feeling at ease, since this would end.

I wish it was true...

When it got closer to the heart, my Nucleus only absorbed part of the flame, the rest went towards new trips through my body with the same intensity, it boiled my intestines, bones, legs, even my head, it made a black veiny pattern appear in every single organ in my body, after this as if satisfied with its work it went and boiled my heart too, for the grand finale, just when it finished the Nucleus ate the rest of it and now felt exactly like the Indigo Earthen Flame, just in front of me, the same wavelength of Ki I was emanating was equal to the one in front of me, being exuded by the flame.

"Gramps..." I said with a cracked voice "Water..."

He turned around and when he saw me all burned he took me, kicked the trap door closed and ran towards the outside, to the river where he put me close to the riverbed, inside the river, I gulped crazy amounts of water and tried activating the Eruption to strengthen my body metabolism and healing abilities it felt like it was way easier to do it now and instead of the flaming energy it felt like a cooling liquid passing through me, easing my arteries and veins which were quite abused by the crazy flame, the water was helping also.

When I stopped feeling pain all the time and was just uncomfortable, I noticed that the color of my Eruption was now blue and my body was scarred all of it, which is now a reminder of how stupid I was for playing with fire.

I looked towards Grandpa and he was there with Granny and Ti'oh coming a little behind him.

I felt guilty and apologetic towards them, since I did something without thinking if it was right and almost died from it.

"I am... sorry..." I said with a ridiculously low tone, filled with embarrassment that I felt.

"Gahahahhaahhaha, he broke through Riri, he done and did it!" Ti'oh was laughing like a maniac for some reason, I looked at them with clear confusion.

Granny was sighing with relief and Grandpa was looking at me confused, since it didn't look as if there was anything different from before on my Eruption.

I didn't know what they were thinking so I just stood there waiting for any explanation, since they just didn't make any sense.

"Hmmm... What just happened here? I was hurting a lot, but I thought it was alright since it was the flame who was feeding me some Ki through the whole smithing session? Are these scars any problem?" I asked looking at the deep black scars covering my body like broken veins from a lighting strike. The only difference it wasn't a descending tree, but some stretching roots from my c.h.e.s.t.

"You just went and had your whole body burned out of its impurities and, well...

Some of your own body, which has left those scars, you looked like you were almost dead, almost like someone who didn't drink water for days." said Grandpa Doh now understanding what happened.

"And you broke through my Ta, your Nucleus probably has changed form, when you sleep you should be able to observe it, gahahahaha" Ti'oh laughed at my misfortune...

"Wait, are these permanent or will they heal?" I said while looking at these black scars, thinking how to explain myself to Not, she is going to kill me...

My face suddenly went pale from such grim thoughts I was having. I was pretty dumb to try such thing without preparation or tutoring from anyone, even if my Ti'oh is laughing proudly like a maniac...

"Ti'oh, how do I heal these fast?" I asked now shaking a little in my hands.

"There is no way to do it so fast, but you look really manly now, you have your own training scars! Better yet, it covers your whole body, which means a sound foundation." He continued full of pride.

I looked towards Granny, seeing as Ti'oh is going to be useless to tackle this issue, but she also just shrugged and gestured that there was no solution, I begged even harder for help with my bawling eyes and she just shrugged again.

No way! I am so dead...

Suddenly the other villagers come towards the river, since there was a huge commotion happening at the river, first came Captain Vermont, Jivs and Metania, ready for some action, then Ms. Agnes and Elder Brontus, lastly Elder Kavko, Mr. Guido and Nordya. They all had dumbfounded faces looking at me...

"Hi, ever-" Suddenly Nordya came running towards me and hugged me.

"Are you alright?! How did you get these scars? Are you hurting? How did you do it?..." she kept throwing a bunch of questions at me in panic.

I hugged her and started to calm her.

"It is all right, don't worry so much, I got these from the Ki Tempering Method I used while forging in the Smithy, it just hurts a little now, I am sorry for worrying you, I didn't knew this would happen to me, I didn't even know it was possible..." I hugged her, trying to comfort her the best I could.

"You idiot! I need you in one piece! What would I say to our baby when he or she comes and has no father to carry they around?" she said crying her eyes out and I felt like each tear was dagger stabbing my poor heart.

"I am sorry, honey, it was an accident, I didn't mean to cause you grief and I am still alive and kicking, right?" I said trying to make the mood lighter a bit, as I looked around there wasn't anybody looking at the commotion anymore, except for Grandpa, Granny and Ti'oh waiting for us to finish the crying.

"Honey, let's go with everybody and try to calm down inside Granny's house, okay?" I suggested to her.

As we walked towards the house, she calmed down more. We arrived at the door and she wasn't sniffling anymore. Since it was close to dinner time, Granny was kind enough to offer us some dinner at her house, so I accepted.

While we were waiting for dinner to be ready, I started explaining what happened when we were forging the equipment for the whole day and how I was bewitched be that flame to get closer and the wisp of it entered and refined all the impurities, making it easier to use the Ki in my body, but the trade-off were these scars in my body.

"What he went through is a process called Ascension, it happens when the Nucleus changes forms as it gets rid of impurities, the energy conversion improves, as I saw he using Eruption on the river and amount being projected in this world was stronger than before, and its quantity and strength increases. It is unfortunate that he suffered such condition, but it shouldn't be any problem in his health condition, training wounds from gathering too much Ki have little harmful lasting effect on the body, actually it proves the opposite effect is more common place, mostly the only side effects know are some scars and a searing pain, as if you are being boiled from inside." Ti'oh explained to me and my wife so she would be less worried about what happened.

"See, honey, these are just like some silly birthmarks, okay?" I said trying to calm her down.

"Okay..." she said while suddenly she jumped and hit my shoulder with her closed fists "You don't ever give me a scare like that again!" She screamed at top of her lungs.

"Sorry.. haha..." I said relieved as she seemed to be better again.

It was us and Ti'oh and Grandpa Doh, so I thought about it and decided to thank them.

"Thanks, Ti'oh for the training which made me resistant towards the fire and Grandpa for saving myself from being boiled from the inside " I said while lowering my head "Both of you gave so much towards this stupid Ta, I hope to make you both proud someday."

They both looked at me, a little astonished from the way I treated them, since I knew they were worrying about me all this time.

"Well, you just need to become as strong as me Ta and spar against me everyday, gahahahaha!" Ti'oh just went and teased me.

"For me as long as you can make some Rainbow Steel for this old man, I would already be plenty happy, hahahhahahahaha" They both were laughing all this time, for some reason, so let's just work hard.

Granny brought some food and ordered both of them to shut up from so much laughing which made me and Nordya giggle a little bit together.

After dinner I just hunted a Black Dog with Ti'oh and I skipped the training for Ki Tempering since I already made my first Ascension.

I just went back home and apologize very deeply towards my worried cute wife, making she the happiest girl in this planet.
