Sacrifices a fixed amount of health, in order to raise your Attack and Attack Speed. Upon activation, a pulse is emitted which damages all nearby enemies.

Effect: For a duration of 20 seconds, Attack +20%, Attack Speed +20%, in a 3 meter range Physical Damage 100%

Cooldown: 4 minutes

“Now no matter what I encounter I should be fine.”

If he had previously engaged the Giant Wolves with a more strategic approach, he might have succeeded. However now that he was armed to the teeth with his new potions and elixirs, along with these brand new ranged skills, he was very confident.

“Let’s get going.”

He took out his Token of Himise and created a portal which he use to return to the village, going straight outside as he headed to the Great Wolf King’s cave.

-Grrr!

This time around it was still alive, but he made short work of it as it wasn’t a threat to him, before descneding to the end fo the cave.

Pulling out a Fang Key, he inserted it into the groove and stepped into the magical portal.

“Finally back.”

He arrived in the same spot, and made his way through the forest to the clearing he knew housed Giant Wolves.

“I’ve stocked up on Potions… so I should take the chance to collect a lot of materials.”

Myeonghu realised that he was likely to encounter other quest which required materials from the Giant Wolf, so he decided to go all out and engage in a massive hunting spree.

-Grrr!

-Grrrr!

He quickly sstumbled upon a pack of 17 Giant Wolves, two more than previously. Before stepping out, he pulled out a Bleeding Elixir and chugged it down.

Even if he wasn’t bleeding at the moment, it was for the 1 minute immunity. He then quickly set of towards the wolves.

-Grrr!

-Grrrr!

One of the wolves spotted him and howled to alert the others

-Aoooo!

Myeonghu smiled as he heard the energetic wolf cry out.

“You guys will be my test subjects!”

He cried out as he ran towards the Giant Wolves.

“Quake Strike!”

Suah!

A white light gathered in his fist.

-Grrrrrr!

-Grrrr!

As the two parties rushed at each other, three wolves broke away from the pack to engage him. Just as they came into range, Myeonghu slowed down and punched the ground.

UwooOng!

The earth sucked up the white light then shook wildly, resulting in the majestic sound. The three Giant Wolves which had previously been just meters from him, were nowhere to be seen. Myeonghu continued running towards the rest of the pack.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

He heard their corpses plopp down to the ground behind him, but he kept his gaze rooted on the next four Giant Wolves which charge him from the front.

“Weapon Boom”

Suaah!

His fist glowed a sanguine red and he punched out to the closest of the wolves, ignoring its claws.

-Grrr!

Sriick!

‘Sweet, the Elixir works!’

He didn’t enter a bleeding state due to the Elixir, as he struck the wolf in the stomach.

Bang! Boom!

Immediately a booming sound rang out as an explosion occured behind the victims body, hitting two of the three wolves.

‘Good, now just 11 left.’

Three of those muts had died to his ‘Quake Strike’ and another three to his ‘Weapon Boom’. He would now deal with single Giant Wolf before him, before dispatching the other 10. Naturally he was aware that nearby wolves will have heard their howl, but with his current hunting speed he was confident that he would have time to pick up all the items before they arrived.

He dashed towards the last of the four wolves, which seemed confused by the previous explosion. It quickly recovered however and slashed with its claws.

–Grrr!

Sriiik!

‘Oh, is the one minute already up?’

He thought to himself as he read the Bleeding alert.

Bang!

His fist caught the wolf in the stomach and it collapsed immediately. Myeonghu then took those precious few seconds to down another Elixir.

-Grrr!

-Grrrr!

The remaining 10 wolves charged at him in unison, he backed away cautiously as he finished up the medicine.

[You have recovered from your Bleeding State.]

It was the first time seeing the message, which brought a smile to his face. He then carefully watched the ten wolves take their positions as they surrounded him.

“They circled me out of their own initiative, how nice!”

He was content to be in the middle of the pack, allowing the wolves to come to him.

-Grrr!

-Grrrr!

Five of them leaped forward and when their claws were but 3 meters away, Myeonghu cried out.

“Sacrifical Explosion!”

[+20% Attack for 20 seconds]

[+20% Attack Speed for 20 seconds]

UwooOng!

Along with the the alerts about his buffs, a pulse spread outwards with him at the center, passing through the wolves which were seconds away from digging deep into him with their deadly claws.

-G…

-Gr….

Their bodies crumpled to the ground as they lost their momentum.

“The skill is pretty sweet.”

Myeonghu then focused on the last few wolves.

“Just 5 more…”

Only a couple minutes had passed, but the original pack of 17 had seen their numbers cut down to just 5.

-Grrr!

The Giant Wolves began to slowly tighten the encirclement, he didn’t have any more AoE skills available.

Myeonghu suddenly rushed the nearest wolf, triggering the rest to attack.

-Grrr!

Sriick! Bang!

His reactions were quicker than the wolves had expected and he was able to incapacitate it before it’s comrades arrived.

As the wolf slumped to the ground, the other four were bearing down on his position with sharpened claws.

Suah!

However it was at that very moment which Myeonghu’s fist turned a bloody red.

“Its already been 3 minutes you bastards!”

Bang! Boom!

He struck the closest wolf in the stomach, resulting in a large explosion behind it which hit the last three Giant Wolves.

“Fuuu…”

Myeonghu let out a sigh as he looked at the 17 corpses around him.

“I should have learned these skills earlier.”

He hadn’t expected his first hunt to go so smoothly, but he didn’t waste any time and quickly began picking up the loot.

“I need to get all of it before the others arrive.”

Myeonghu was relieved that he was able to get all of the items before another group appeared. He then opened up his Character page to have a look.

“Just three levels?”

He recalled being level 185 before his last encounter, but despite hunting 17 Giant Wolves, he had only become level 188. It didn’t make any sense.

“Has the required experience increased, or am I receiving less experience for each kill?”

It was probably a combination of the two. As his level grew, so too would the required experience, but he would also be receiving much less from each Giant Wolf he killed.

-Grrr!

Hearing the sound he closed the page and reached into his inventory taking out an Elixir, before turnign around to have a look.

“15 wolves.”

–Aoooo!

The leading wolf let out a deafening howl once again, while Myeonghu took the time to finish the Elixir.

“Come on!”

Although he knew the wolf couldn’t understand him, he couldn’t help but cry out enthusiastically as his fist began to gather the white light.
