35 million won, that was the amount he had bid on all the items.

“Will it be enough?”

He even still worried that it wouldn’t be sufficient. After all, he had never actually entertained the thought of winning the Rare item s with his 1 million won bids.

He got up from his chair and walked into the capsule. His latest bids were each at 5 million won, although it wasn’t low by any means, the value and stats of that Rare item meant that it could certainly go above that price.

‘Not to worry I can continue inside.’

He thought to himself as he entered the game. Fortunately Legends allowed for players to also bid on items from inside the game.

‘If someone dares to lay a hand on what’s mine….’

Even if someone outbid him, he could always set another bid from inside the game, so he had no reason to stay seated on his chair and stare at the screen.

Har! Har!

The Ogre roared as it collapsed to the ground. Shortly after a man emitting a dangerous aura approached the corpse. Judging by his crossbow in hand, he had the Hunter profession.

“…”

He looted the corpse and frowned as he examined the items.

“Once again no equipment.”

All of a sudden loud, heavy footsteps could be heard approaching in the distance. Soon after another Ogre appeared, who roared upon catching sight of the player.

Har! Har!

It rushed towards him menacingly. Most people would be afraid at this point, but the man was completely calm, as if all was under his control.

After the Ogre crossed a certain distance, he launched a series of bolts into it.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The bolts sank deep into the Ogres flesh, cutting its speed in half. However he wasn’t out of the woods yet as the monster was still steadily closing the distance between them.

Swoosh!

When it neared, the Ogre swung its huge club towards him, but the Hunter avoided it by ducking low and rolling to the side.

Once he was back on his feet, he leapt backwards and let loose another series of bolts, slamming into the Ogres chest and causing it to roar in pain

Haarg!

If it were any other monster that may have been the end of things, but Ogres were renowned for their incredible vitality and it plowed on.

The Hunter kept increasing his distance and firing more bolts, always kiting the monster. As the number of bolts piercing its body increased, its speed progressively slowed, until it could move no more.

Thud!

It eventually fell down to the ground and died.

When the man walked up and collected the loot, a smile formed on his face.

– You have obtained a Cold Steel Sword.

Restrictions: Strength 220, Stamina 100

Physical Damage: 100 ~ 110

Attack Speed + 5%

“Nice.”

It would be a pretty popular weapon among players since its properties were quite decent. It was likely to sell well, so he prepared to return to a city.

“The nearest village is….”

After returning to the village, he used the Warp Gate to arrive at the closest city. Although he could sell it off in the village, he would only be able to get the best price for it by auctioning it off in a larger city.

After appearing on the other end of the Warp Gate, he checked his map and headed to the auction house. As he approached his mind was focused on the Cold Steel Sword in his inventory, ignoring the bustle around him.

“Buying each gold for 10.000 won to buy gold! Minimum 30 gold and buying up to 500!”

“Buying each gold for 9,000 won! Minimum 10 gold and I’ll buy up to 600!”

“Selling gold! Each gold for 11.000 won! Minimum 5, maximum 100!

“Buying a Bastard Sword for a lvl 60 Warrior. Other Weapons are also welcome, can pay in cash or gold!”

“Buying any items! Can pay in cash or gold!”

Right outside the auction house was crowded with users. Players were busy shouting there prices or what they were looking for, others were busy listing new items to auction.

Walking past the group of players, the Hunter went to the NPC and put up the Cold Steel Sword up for auction at 1.1 million won. He then too the opportunity to look at what else was being sold.

“…huh?”

His eyes widened upon spotting a certain item.

“A Rare crossbow is for sale?”

As a Hunter, crossbows were his class’ main weapon and he had never seen a Rare one. He quickly selected it to look at its stats.

He was left speechless, it looked so good that one would naturally assume that it was a scam.

“I really want it….”

He definitely needed to get his hands on such a crossbow and the reason was that he was working as a dark gamer,. this meant that he made a living through the sale of ingame items and gold. Any dark gamer worth his salt would know that his equipment was crucial to success. Better equipments gave better stats which meant you could hunt tougher monsters and earn more. That’s why he need to get this crossbow no matter what.

“The Auction…”

He didn’t like the selling method. Prices were not yet stable because Legend was still a new game, so price were constantly increasing.

“One million won….”

Although it was currently listed at only 1 million, it would naturally never sell for so little as its value was well above that.

“Just in case…”

Thinking that it was worth a shot, he tried a bid at 2 million. However, it wasn’t long before the other party fired back, raising it to 5 which caused him to worry. He had been making decent money by selling items and gold, but even for him 5 million wasn’t an insignificant sum.

“If it’s just this much….”

The value of such a crossbow definite exceeded that, perhaps it was closer to 10 million.

He was somewhat worried as he placed a bid for 6 million.

Myeonghu had logged into the game immediately and took screenshots of all his Rare and Unique items. He then looked at the rest of his loot and wondered.

“Just how much will you sell for?”

His expectations were quite high seeing as a lot of the loot was obtained from the Monstrous fox.

“At the very least it should be quite a lot more than that from the Great Fox King, right?”

Since a Monstrous fox was much stronger than the Great Fox King, it was only natural to assume that the loot would likewise sell for more.

As he made his way to the village store, he took the time to look at his character page.

Pelun gasped in surprise upon seeing the loot of the Monstrous fox.
