He spent a long time sifting through the items for sale, his eyes glued to the screen, before letting out a helpless sigh.

“It’s impossible to figure out.”

He couldn’t get a good grasp of the market. Even two items which appeared to be similar might be hundreds of thousands of won apart due to having different properties. However the volatility of the market was such that even two items with very similar properties could also have drastic price differences.

“At least I’ve found that.”

Of course his entire search hadn’t been completely wasted. He had at least gotten a good idea about the range of prices and was even able to confirm the price for one of his very own items.

“The Earthen Bracelet of Patience… to think it was so expensive.”

Although it was a Rare bracelet which had decent properties, his mouth had begun to drool when he learned that it could sell for about 1.5~1.8 million won.

“With my two that’s at least 3 million!”

Since he owned two of them, even if he were to sell them at the lower end of the price range he could still earn 3 million which was quite a lot.

“My bracelets properties’ are even better.”

Compared to the Earthen Bracelet of Patience which has sold for 1.8 million, his provided even better stats so they were likely to sell even higher.

“It won’t be too long now for that 200 million won!”

He twitched excitedly at the prospect, immediately listing it on the site.

Myeonghu decided to proceed with the sale of his other items. However, since he didn’t know what their worth was, he simple set it up as an Auction and set the starting price at 5,000 won. Just as he was about to put the Unique items up as well, a thought struck him.

“Would it have been better to add a snapshot of the items?”

He thought that it would add more credible to have an ingame picture of the item, as people might not want to focus only on written text.

“Let’s just wait and see how much they sell for.”

In the end he decided not to cancel the sales in order to modify them. The reason was that even if he wasn’t satisfied with the price, he always had the option to cancel it at the last minute.

“Should I connect to the game?”

He had already listed all his items so he logged out and turned off his computer, before heading to the game capsule.

“200 million… wait for me, mother.”

As he was stepped inside the game capsule, he wondered how the sale of his Rare items would go.

Park Hyunwoong, the chairman of Hyunwoong E&C which was one of the two largest construction companies in South Korea, had become a true addict of the popular virtual reality game, Legends.

“I guess I can login soon.”

He spoke to himself as he looked at the game capsule in the corner of the room with a smile.

There had been several virtual reality games which had hit the market prior to this one, but there had been none other which had lived up to his childhood dreams.

“I had always thought it would be impossible to play this kind of game in my lifetime.”

After just connecting once, Park Hyunwoong had been stunned by the breathtaking game design, it was like something one could only find in a novel.

‘Could I also be like a character from those novels?’

He thought to himself as he imagined himself conquering new frontiers through overwhelming might. However he knew that his age would be a limiting factor when playing games. He was lacking in fitness and time when compared to younger generations, so he decided to even the playing field by buying items and utilizing his wealth.

“What do they have for me today?”

Park Huynwoong wondered as he scrolled through the Legends trading site.

“Looks like there isn’t anything special.”

The items which appeared were more or less the same as those he was currently using.

“Should I just connect to the game…?”

He had just refreshed the page, and before he could finish his sentence, he spotted the sale of a Rare item. It even an item which he felt he desperately needed.

Immediately upon placing his bid he cried out in surprise.

New Rare items were popping up, so he quickly went ahead and check them out.

Because of the comment section he was able to know that it had been the same person which had listed all the items, but it was truly hard to believe that a single person could accumulate that many.

“Still…”

Even if he felt that the person might just be fooling around, Park Hyunwoong went ahead and placed a 1 million won bid on the dagger, staff and crossbow. Even he couldn’t use them since his build was that of a Warrior, he could still hope to get lucky. Shortly after, a message popped up on his screen.

“Oh, have I been outbid?”

He clicked on the link which brought him to the item sale page.

A frown began to form, 3 million won wasn’t a lot of money, but it wasn’t exactly chump change either.

He put in a new bid at 4 million and confirmed it with a left click of his mouse.

Park Hyunwoong stared worriedly, thinking that he might even have to go up to 5 million. While waiting he headed to check out other items, and sure enough he had a slew of messages waiting to be opened.
