Chapter 250 The Even Livelier Wakanda

“H.Y.D.R.A.?!” Seeing the subtitles displayed, Leo was slightly surprised.

It turned out that Wakanda had sounded the alarm because H.Y.D.R.A. had launched another attack. But Leo immediately began to revel in schadenfreude because even during H.Y.D.R.A.’s peak, they couldn’t stand a chance against the super-powered Wakanda.

As for now, it was as if H.Y.D.R.A. was actively searching for their demise when facing Wakanda.

With that in mind, he decided not to get involved in the H.Y.D.R.A. and Wakanda affair. Time was of the essence for him now, and at any given moment, Wakanda might discover that their herbs had been stolen.

Therefore, he needed to act swiftly.

Taking a brief moment to determine his direction, he instantly ascended into the sky and flew toward the Vibranium mine. Soon, he arrived at the wide entrance of the mine and prepared to land inside.

But suddenly, the communicator’s processing smartly filtered out a voice from the numerous military channels being monitored.

In a military line known as the Royal Emergency Channel, a sudden transmission filled with a mix of heartache, anger, and disbelief echoed, “Your Majesty, we have a major problem. The Temple of Panther God has been invaded and half of the heart-shaped herbs have been stolen.”

As Leo listened attentively, he recognized the voice right away. It was Badu, the High Priest of the temple and T’Chaka’s confidant.

Right after, T’Chaka’s voice resounded with incredulity, “What?! Who is responsible for this? The H.Y.D.R.A.?”

“Our warriors and I have thoroughly searched the temple, but we found no trace of the enemy.” Badu’s voice suddenly stammered, “But it’s unlikely that it was H.Y.D.R.A.’s doing because…”

“Because of what?” T’Chaka suppressed his anger.

“Because the person who stole the herbs directly dug up half of the flowerbeds in the temple, along with the soil and stones. The pits left behind were three meters deep!” 

“Are you certain?!” T’Chaka felt as if he had just heard a massive joke.

With absolute certainty, Badu affirmed, “Your Majesty, I’m one hundred percent certain. Based on our preliminary examination, the perpetrator who stole the herbs used a large excavator.”

T’Chaka fell into silence, seemingly unable to comprehend such an occurrence. The fact that a large excavator could enter the Temple of Panther God unnoticed was unfathomable, even if Waknada’s internal defense was lax. It was simply impossible!

Ten seconds later, T’Chaka snapped back to reality and spoke solemnly, “I understand, Badu. I will head to the temple immediately.”

The next moment, across various military channels in Wakanda, T’Chaka’s icy and enraged command echoed simultaneously, “All of Wakandan, hear me! Lock down the Azure Firmament at maximum power. Only individuals with A-level or higher security clearance are permitted to pass but no one is to exit. Captain Barundi, gather all warriors beyond the Azure Firmament. Do not fear exposing our advanced weaponry. Crush H.Y.D.R.A. swiftly and return to Wakanda with utmost haste and fortify our borders with the highest level of vigilance.”

After voicing out his command, T’Chaka instantly withdrew from the battlefield beyond the Azure Firmament. Clad in his Black Panther suit, he passed through the ethereal barrier and dashed toward the direction of the temple.

The sudden command from the king left everyone in shock.

Some high-ranking officers with the necessary clearance opened the emergency military intelligence section on their Kimoyo Beads and discovered the reason behind their king’s urgency.

In mere seconds, everyone was astonished. It was unimaginable to them that half of the herbs had been silently uprooted by an excavator in the Temple of Panther God.

This was the greatest sacrilege against their revered Panther God!

Meanwhile, Leo had heard the commands in the military channel too, but he just smiled faintly. He knew that what was about to occur would drive the people of Wakanda into further madness, and he had more than one trick up his sleeve.

Tonight, Wakanda was destined to be lively.

Right now, Leo had flown deep into the heart of the Vibranium mine. Several guards were stationed here, appearing somewhat nervous and vigilant due to the sudden commands from the king.

Ignoring them, he went straight into the warehouse storing the countless tubes of Vibranium.

Since the Wakandan was on high alert, the workers inside the mine weren’t resting. The people of the Mining tribe were working overtime, tirelessly extracting Vibranium and transporting it out.

Thus, inside the warehouse, Leo bumped into the middle-aged leader again, the one who had been concerned about depleting Vibranium reserves. He had dark circles under his eyes and wore a gloomy expression. Clearly. He was still worried about the future generation of Wakanda, fearing that they would be left without resources. 

Little did Leo know, he didn’t have a translator back then, so he was unaware of the leader’s heavy-heartedness. If he had known, he would’ve considered the leader an overly anxious individual!

Because the raw Vibranium’s inherent “vibratory energy” was generated by Lilith using her soul energy, as long as she was willing, Vibranium was a completely renewable resource. How could it ever be depleted?

Standing on the rock wall of the warehouse, Leo carefully surveyed everything inside.

The largest area was occupied by tens of thousands of sealed tubes of standard Vibranium. They were nestled stacked in rows, with workers moving around them. About twenty of them were loading and transporting the Vibranium using forklifts.

The overly anxious captain was now squatting in a corner of the warehouse, puffing on Wakanda’s tobacco to keep himself awake.

Above the warehouse’s domed ceiling, several “All-purpose Reconnaissance Drone” and “All-purpose Maintainance Bot” were hovering.

‘There are quite a lot of people in here! It’s going to be a bit tricky,’ Leo thought to himself.

According to his initial plan, he intended to use a Forwarding Bag to nick all the Vibranium at once. However, now that the Wakandans were mingling among the Vibranium pile, using the Forwarding Bag without proper protective measures would make them shrink due to the Pym Particles. Once they returned to their normal size, they would most probably suffer some mental damage!

Leo had no grudges against the people of Wakanda. He was only interested in wealth, so he didn’t want to harm them.

As thoughts surged through his mind, he suddenly had a clever idea.

In a swift movement, he flew toward one of the drones and lightly waved his hand at it. The energy module of the drone was instantly destroyed by his brute force. It then spiraled down toward the ground, crashing onto the smooth stone floor with a loud bang.

The busy workers on the ground were startled and stopped their activities. Driven by their innate curiosity, they instinctively approached the fallen drone, led by the middle-aged leader. They quickly gathered around it, forming a cluster.

Seeing his objective was achieved, he destroyed all the drones and maintenance bots on the warehouse ceilings with lightning speed. The machines howled strange roaring sounds as they either crashed into the rock walls or rushed toward the ground.

The mining workers had never witnessed such a collective malfunction of drones and maintenance bots before, and they curiously looked up toward the warehouse ceiling. The sight of seemingly rebellious drones and bots startled everyone, causing a slight commotion.

Right after, the middle-aged leader sensed something amiss and hastily tried to activate the emergency alarm using his Kimoyo Beads. However, his reaction was too late, and there was no time left.

Out of the blue, a massive rectangular structure descended from above, covering the area like an impenetrable barrier.

Many in the crowd uncontrollably let out terrified screams, while others managed to maintain their composure. But regardless of their reactions, it couldn’t change their fate.

Suddenly, Leo quietly appeared behind them, delivering a swift kick to each person’s buttock, sending them tumbling into the enlarged Capsule Prison. He also used his Mechanical Force to remove the Kimoyo Beads from their wrists.

CLICK!

BANG!

The doors of the Capsule Prison were promptly sealed shut, rapidly shrinking until the prison fit in Leo’s palm. Then, he tucked the prison into his Storage Belt.

As for the pile of nearly a hundred Kimoyo Beads, Leo forcefully bound them together with his Mechanical Force and released an energy blast, obliterating them all into powder.
