For this kind of mission without punishment, he simply had no reason to refuse it. He already obtained the Basic Mechanical Force Reformer and now the mission reward of “Immortal H.Y.D.R.A.” was an Intermediate Mechanical Force Reformer. Then, was there an advanced, super, or even ultimate level of Mechanical Force Reformer?

The Basic Mechanical Force Reformer was able to reform one type of energy only. Then, did it mean that the higher-level reformer was capable of reforming multiple energies simultaneously?

If he were to get the highest level of reformer, would he be omniscient and omnipotent in the future?

According to his plan, he would wait until the moment he stumbled upon a device or weapon that required a specific type of energy to function, and then make his choice without delay.

Other than that, Pierce’s disappearance was revealed a week ago, causing a huge sensation within both the Security Council and S.H.I.E.L.D. The council began secretly investigating Pierce’s whereabouts through various organizations, albeit they still failed to discover any leads since Pierce’s body was already lying at the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle.

Meanwhile, Lindsay, the head of the investigation team, went straight to the office of the council president and confidently claimed that Pierce had fled in fear, asserting that he was indeed a H.Y.D.R.A. She even proposed to capture Fury and Natasha once more and continue the interrogation.

Nonetheless, under the pressure of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military, the initially swayed president ultimately vetoed Lisa’s proposal.

Fury, upon hearing the news from General Ross’s phone call, just smiled. He knew for certain that Pierce had met his maker as Leo informed him several days ago. Leo also inquired about Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. While Fury was curious as to why Leo was interested in it, he still disclosed everything he knew.

Ever since he had left the S.H.I.E.L.D. as a Level 1 Agent, Fury headed to a small town in Los Angeles to work diligently. Based on Leo’s statement, it would be a piece of cake for Fury to be promoted to the next agent level within a year.

Leo also promised to provide Fury with various kinds of assistance if he ever encountered anything he couldn’t handle during his missions. Naturally, he was unaware that Leo had ulterior motives. At that time, he was deeply moved and was convinced that Leo was an honest and loyal person.

On the other hand, Natasha’s circumstances as a Level 1 Agent vastly differed from Fury’s. As a Super Soldier, she held certain privileges. Yet now Fury was working every day under others’ command and naturally couldn’t care about giving Natasha missions.

Therefore, she spent her days happily staying at Erwin Tech Company being Leo’s secretary during the day and accompanying Erik to have fun and study at night. 

Regardless, Erwin Tech Company had attracted some unwanted attention, but they didn’t dare to act recklessly, so Leo just let them be.
