Chapter 200 Mechanical Force Reformer

On the empty road with scattered pieces of the car, Leo bent down and held Pierce’s fist, questioning Pierce condescendingly.

Hearing the question, Pierce’s miserable face suddenly burst into a crazy smile. He cackled, “Leo Erwin, you ungrateful traitor of H.Y.D.R.A. You’ve befriended Fury, trying to destroy H.Y.D.R.A. for revenge. And right now, you’re wearing a piece of strange armor. So, what exactly are you?”

Pierce’s expression gradually turned more deranged as the words he voiced out bore no logic. Besides, his face distorted more and more due to his crazy laughter and eventually cracked his skin. Green liquid seeped out from the crack. His body released a sound of corrosion as green smoke rose from all over his outfits, emitting an unpleasant smell.

Leo immediately enlarged his helmet and switched on the air filtration system.

Meanwhile, Pierce had completed his transformation, morphing into an exact appearance like the Green Goblin, Osborn.

“So it’s the strengthening serum that Osborn developed.” Leo was enlightened, but he still firmly grabbed Pierce’s hand.

He asked confusedly, “But Osborn personally used the serum to live longer, why are you using it as well? The side effects of it are severe.”

After transforming into a Green Goblin, Pierce lost lots of his self-control and sanity. He instantly revealed the hidden desire within his heart, “Obviously it’s to conquer that b*tch Sinthea, and then rightfully unify the HYDRA! GAHAHAHA!”

“You’re… quite ambitious.” Leo was rather speechless and recalled Bucky’s previously miserable state in the H.Y.D.R.A.

Pierce’s voice sounded shrill after becoming a Green Goblin, “GAHAHA! Leo, I despise you! You killed Sinthea! You destroyed my H.Y.D.R.A.! You destroyed my S.H.I.E.L.D.! I will kill y-y-you…”

At the end of his sentence, his voice trembled, and even the words weren’t enunciated properly. Pierce stared at Leo with a twisted expression, from shock to anger, from anger to resentment, from resentment to fear, and from fear to begging for mercy.

Throwing the charred fist away in disgust, Leo looked at Pierce five meters away from him and then snapped his finger. Right after, the escaping Pierce suddenly plopped onto the ground. His limbs uncontrollably twitched before stopping. 

Upon a closer look, one could discover that the area of Pierce’s right ear was a bloody mess while the left side had reddish-white liquid spurting out. Even his eyeballs were squeezed out and white goo was flowing out from the eye sockets. And a metal ball occupied half of his skull. The metal ball was the “All-purpose Tracker” that Leo created.

Leo trudged over to Pierce’s corpse and looked at the ground with liquid mixed in three colors. He frowned involuntarily.

‘If you didn’t try to run away and instead obediently let me tase you, you wouldn’t need to endure this pain and go through this horrible death!’

He stopped for a moment and pulled out a huge black body bag from his Storage Belt through the Forwarding Box and was going to collect Pierce’s body and clean up the scattered pieces of the car. He didn’t want the S.H.I.E.L.D. to know about Pierce’s sudden death. Compared to the dead Pierce, the sudden disappearance of Pierce wouldn’t cause much trouble to Fury and him.

However, a system notification suddenly appeared, causing Leo to pause his body.

Pondering for a bit, Leo selected ‘No’ in his mind before swiftly cleaning up the surroundings and stashing Pierce’s body and the pieces of the car into his Storage Belt.

The Anti-gravity Pulse Blasters ignited and he flew into the sky, arriving at the Atlantic Ocean in a flash. He flew for a distance to the Bermuda Triangle and pulled out the Forwarding Box that contained Pierce’s body and the destroyed car before tossing them down. The finger-sized Forwarding Box began accelerating and finally dropped into the ocean with a poof, gradually sinking to the bottom of the ocean.

From then on, this world no longer would have Pierce’s traces anymore.

Currently, Leo hovered in the air and couldn’t wait to open his system panel. In the mission tab, a line of words was strikingly shining.

“Start,” Leo muttered in his heart.

But before he could take any action, the moment he closed the system panel, it automatically popped out again as if unhappy.
