Chapter 105 Infinity Stones, Vibranium

In his past life, Leo didn’t read any Marvel comics before. All he watched were the Avengers movies and other related superhero movies. This cinematic universe was dubbed as Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU.

However, Leo realized after he crossed over to this word, this world was similar to MCU, but there were some subtle differences too.

Therefore, the memories within his mind could only be used as references. He couldn’t blindly believe in the future he understood.

With this attitude, Leo prepared to reorganize the memories regarding the Infinity Stones within his brain. It didn’t matter or not if it was useful or not, a preparation was better than no preparation.

Scratching his head, he finally recalled the location of the stones in the MCU with his limited memories.

Currently, Space Stone and Time Stone were located on Earth.

Space Stone was contained within the Tesseract. Originally, it was discovered by Red Skull in Norway and was handed to Dr. Zola for experimentation. Then, it fell into Arctic waters where it was recovered by Howard Stark and placed in S.H.I.E.L.D. Afterward, it was researched by a Kree named Wendy Lawson for Project PEGASUS. At this point in time, it should be located on an invisible spaceship outside of Earth.

Leo had learned about the Tesseract from Dr. Zola, thus he was fairly sure the story of it before falling into Arctic waters was the same as MCU’s story. As for Project PEGASUS, this was an unclear subject.

However, Leo was acquainted with Nick Fury, who was a key character in Captain Marvel’s story. He believed he could affirm the existence of Project PEGASUS from Fury when the opportunity arose. If Project PEGASUS existed, Captain Marvel’s story certainly would occur. By then, Leo could think of a way to meddle with it.

Time Stone was contained within the Eye of Agamotto. Right now, this stone was in the possession of the Sorcerer Supreme, Ancient One.

Four of the stones weren’t located on Earth.

Reality Stone, Leo was uncertain where it was. Was it buried by the King of Asgard?

Power Stone was locked in a ruin on Morag.

Soul Stone was guarded by the transformed Red Skull on Vormir.

Mind Stone initially appeared as Loki’s scepter. But, Loki and Thor were still on Asgard having their ‘brotherly relationship’, so Mind Stone right now should still be on its original owner, Thanos.

As for the whereabouts of the stones, the clearer Leo’s memory was, the uglier his expression was.

Just look at all of these stones, which one of them was easy to obtain?!

Disregarding the other four stones residing in the faraway universe, the two located on Earth should be rather close, right? But to obtain them, it was literally boiling the entire ocean.

Space Stone was located in outer space and it was even invisible. Unless Leo matured the Interstellar Travel Technology, it was impossible for him to search for it.

As for Time Stone, Leo didn’t dare to fight for it. A single slap from Ancient One could blast his soul out. To plot against this stone, it was more feasible for him to search for Space Stone in the sky…

Sigh! Leo let out a deep sigh. It looked like matters of stone hunting still had a long way to go!

Casting the matter of stone hunting back to his brain, Leo continued analyzing his attainments from Bucky’s fight.

This match, aside from proving Leo had a self-protecting capability, spelled out a fatal flaw of the armor which was the shock absorption was slightly lacking.

“Steam, stop playing, we got work to do.”

“Buzz! Understood, Master.” Steam carefully surrounded the piles of wooden blocks with some simple materials. Then, it rushed to Leo, ready for taking orders.

“Viper suffers some damage just now, help me to repair it first.”

“Buzz!”

Controlling the mechanical instruments, Steam lifted Viper up. Meanwhile, Leo was putting on the Mechanical Tentacles.

The Mechanical Force surged and Leo was prepared to use his skills. At the same time, Mechanical Force – Insight, Mechanical Force – Inspiration, and other supporting skills began activating one by one.

Especially Mechanical Force – Inspiration, ever since Leo had enough Mechanical Force, every time when he was building machinery, this skill surely would be activated simultaneously. An active skill was treated by him as a passive skill…

With the assistance of various flexible tentacles, Leo swiftly disassembled Viper’s outer chest, revealing its internal intricate Neural Transmitters. From Bucky’s punch just now, a total of sixteen transmitters were either malfunctioned or destroyed.

Repairing all of these wasn’t difficult. Maneuvering the tentacles, Viper was repaired speedily in just ten minutes. The whole armor was revamped. It was easy to repair Viper but to further improve it, strengthening its shock absorption was difficult.

Adding additional shock-absorbent materials into the armor was pointless. It wasn’t Leo unable to withstand the shock but rather the armor itself. Thus, the shock absorption should begin from its outer shell. The best way was to use shock-absorbing materials as its outer shell!

Ding! A flash of inspiration! Leo recalled the incredible metal in the Marvel Universe, Vibranium.

Vibranium itself can be used as a power source, just like in ‘Black Panther’, it was used to power the aircraft and energy weapons. Besides, it also could absorb kinetic energy, such as Captain America’s shield and Black Panther’s thin layers of suit. Both of them were capable of withstanding rains of bullets and energy beams.

If Viper’s outer shell or key components were mixed with Vibranium, Leo absolutely wouldn’t have to worry about Viper being damaged easily!

“But Vibranium is a rare item and right now it’s exclusive only to Wakanda. It’s extremely difficult to obtain it. Where should I get some of it?” Leo began to rack his brain, “If only I can sneak into Wakanda. Not only can I get sufficient amounts of Vibranium, but I also can secretly learn some black technologies from Wakanda.”

According to some details revealed in the Black Panther movie, Wakanda, at the current age, already possessed soundless levitating aircraft.

If Leo could learn how to manufacture aircraft, he could immediately fly to outer space to search for Tesseract’s location. However, to sneak into Wakanda, where should one even begin? For current Leo, it was equivalent to a hopeless dream.

All of a sudden, another inspiration flashed into Leo’s mind. He recalled more details regarding the Black Panther movie.

Wakanda seemed to experience theft of Vibranium around this time. With the help of N’Jobu, the younger brother of the current king, T’Chaka, a person named Ulysses Klaue successfully stole a huge amount of Vibranium from Wakanda.

Although it was nearly impossible for Leo to sneak into Wakanda like how Ulysses Klaue did, Leo could attempt to search for him. This way, Leo was able to get some Vibranium.

Nevertheless, Ulysses Klaue was hiding like a rat. Almost two decades went by yet Wakanda still failed to find him. It was likely Leo, too, was unable to find him.

Regardless, all of these plans weren’t achievable in a short span of period. It wasn’t helpful to Leo. In his viewpoint, in the Black Panther movie, there was a most important detail. Within British Museum, a piece of Vibranium equipment, that was misidentified as an ordinary cultural relic, was exhibited there. That was a readily available Vibranium for Leo.

Of course, when Leo planned this, all of it was based on the story of Black Panther which would certainly happen in this world. If this world didn’t have any Black Panther or Vibranium, Leo’s thoughts right now weren’t even worth a penny. 

But to verify the existence of the Black Panther story was relatively simple. All Leo needed to do was to have a look at British Museum, determining the existence of that Vibranium equipment.

Without delay, Leo immediately rang Ol’ Tom’s office phone through Steam.

“Ol’ Tom, I’m having a trip to England, and the sooner the better. Hurry up and deal with the visa, tickets, and other procedures!”

“Erm… Boss, how long are you going to stay in England?”

“Several days are enough.”

“If it’s a short period, then we don’t need a visa to go to England. Having a passport is sufficient…”
