A rain of fire bullets rushed forward to Angus group.

The four students quickly jumped backwards, constantly dodging the fire bullets.

Angus and Nissyen simultaneously performed the primary skills "Water Sphere" and "Multi-Water Sphere" to extinguish fire bullets and reduce the heat in the air. While moving backwards, Dustan tried throwing several fireballs about the size of half meter to the scorpion to test, but all of fire balls was dislodged out by the scorpion with its two huge pincers.

In a moment, the four students gathered at a safe distance from the scorpion, Dustan immediately gave his comment: "Leader, it's not afraid of fire. Its exoskeleton seems very thick, just now my fireballs was all dislodged."

In the past few months at Base Five, though Angus used to have a time studying separately with Eugene, but as a Class Leader, he knew clearly about the strength and improvement of each member in the class in time. In fact, the total time he studied separately with Eugene was just some afternoons. He still participated in the physical strength categories with the class in every morning, also led them in the team competition categories in weekends. Moreover, after having finished the process of fusing the two flames inside him, Angus had returned to the power control lessons with Class K and together with them, practiced using powers in coordinated fight. Therefore, it could be said that the cooperation between him and Class K members not only increased day by day, but also was far better than other Class Leaders and their class.

After listening to Dustan's words, Angus nodded: "Usually species belong to the Arachnida class are afraid of heat and fire, but this Desert Scorpion grows in the desert so it won't be afraid. Following the loud voice of Dustan, several fireballs in his hand were rushed out to the tiny eyes of the scorpion, but once again, all the fireballs had not even reached the target but were dislodged away by the scorpion. Nissyen took the opportunity to secretly come in a near distance, intending to launch a Water skill. But this time things were not such easy as before!

The amount of water this time was at least four times greater than the previous attack of Angus. Moreover, this time Angus had his own preparation. Immediately after launching the "Great Water Sphere" skill, one time, he jumped onto the tree branches and then threw himself down. When he was landing down, the military dagger in his hand flashed in the sun.

In the middle of the empty piece of land, the scorpion struggled continuously. The two pincers were moving wildly on the ground, behind the pointed tail was also crazily wobbled in the air.

At this moment, Edelina appeared from the air, rushing down with her hands glistening with light of Lightning.

"Lightning cl.u.s.ter!"

Among the Lightning basic skills, "Lightning Bolt" was the most basic one, introductory one, so almost all Lightning dragonmen when starting learning power control would take it as the first goal to be achieved. Just like its name, "Lightning Bolt" consisted of only one primary lightning bolt, there may be some secondary lightning rays radiating on the sides of the main one, but generally it was the shape of only one lightning bolt. More internal power used led to larger shape of the lightning bolt, and more attacking power. The ground shook after a strong tremor. After a few minutes rolling around in pain, the scorpion finally lay motionless on the ground, apparently it was paralyzed.

"Red lightning!"

Just as what Angus ordered at the beginning, Edelina continued to perform one more attack towards the dagger being stabbed in the scorpion's back, and maintained the lightning until the exoskeleton of the scorpion appeared the cracks.

Again, most of the lightning bolts emitted was white, but the area of light around it was different, thus the Lightning races were differentiated based on this feature. The four main races of Lightning style were Silver, Gold, Sapphire, and Garnet, with grey-white, yellow, blue, and red colors respectively.

"Red Lightning" was a mid-level skill belonging to the Garnet race of the Lightning style. Normally, the lightning bolt of Garnet was white and the area of light around was in red. But when performing "Red Lightning", a Garnet needed to compress a large amount of internal power into the lighting, and then the specific energy belonging to the Garnet race would turn the lightning into red. The advantage of this skill was that its attack power was much stronger than normal lightning, and the downside was that it took time to acc.u.mulate and compress internal power, especially to a first-year student as Edelina.

According to the mission requirement, the one who would hang the flag onto the flagpole by himself/ herself must be Class Leader.

Angus thought for a moment and then he turned to Dustan and Nissyen: "This place was no longer dangerous now, you two stay here for safety. The mission didn't require all members to be at the flagpole, so just I and Edelina are enough."

Dustan and Nissyen simultaneously nodded.

Angus told him again: "But remember, don't let your guard down."

"Roger that, Leader."

Angus and Edelina used the fastest speed to cross the forest towards Team One.

Until now, it could be said that Class K had completed ninety percent of the mission. The rest ten percent was just crossing the forest to meet Team One.

The screens turned to another class.

On Class F's side, Drake's flagpole group was lucky to quickly find the flagpole, but the flag group was not so favorable.

The person who led the flag-finding group was a Water-style freshman who owned a special ability of sensing and hunting. Before the competition started, all ten teams were given a sample flag with the same material and design as the real flag so that they could distinguish the real flag from fake flags of traps. But when the group of five students actually arrived at the place, they faced such a difficult challenge with the Desert Scorpion. There were even three members eliminated on the spot. In fact, it could said that to complete the mission in a short time while maintain number of members as many as possible, each class needed a part of luck.

It was obvious that Class Leader was the best student in most of the classes, in terms of both individual performance and leadership.

The competition intentionally arranged a "flag guard" – Desert Scorpio – with strength at intermediate level, which required the combination of Class Leader and at least three elite students to be able to kill the flag guard and take the flag. Under this arrangement, and time press, if the Class Leader was in the group who first found the flag, then it would be a blessing.

Just like the case of Angus! Of the three small groups of Class K, the group led by Angus was the team first found the flag. Under his direction, the group successfully killed the scorpion and took the flag right at the first fight.

Drake and Class F was not as lucky as Angus and Class F. Without the command of the Class Leader, obviously the flag team had failed at the first time. So now what Drake could do was to get to the position of the flag team, coordinate with them, kill the scorpion, and bring the flag back to his current position.

Leaving two members at the flagpole position, Drake brought along three members, hurriedly crossing the forest to meet flag team.
