The Heiress

Chapter 59 - HIS VACATION:HER PLACE

'what have I been doing???!?'

the question kept repeating. She knew she was so out of Anna Lin's character today, maybe it was because she was tired or surprised, nevertheless, it was hard to figure out still

One thing was for sure, her heart paced whenever he was near, that was dangerous.

Once she was done, she knocked on the bathroom door where Cheng Ming-hùa was and told him that she had extra toilettries in the cabinet behind the mirror, to which, Ming-hùa just hummed in response.

Hui Yin the proceeded to do other things and called for someone to buy him clothes. She realized that he hadn't brought anything with him earlier, not even a set of clothing. To be sure, she also ordered his favorite brands as well as a set of pyjamas.

'ay this man...does he always think I can prepare everything for him? If you were not my boss I would have punched you in the face by now humph!'

She took her time to prepare the extra bed she had in her office, she couldn't possibly let him stay in her bedroom. It had been there eversince she kept staying there to read doc.u.ments as her secretary, Mr. Shiba took care of it.

Now all that was left was for him to come out.

...

Cheng Ming-hùa was showering, the water beadlets dropping down his toned body. Although being separated for a month was his decision, it felt like it had been a very long time since he last saw her. That luscious black hair had grown longer and she looked sleep deprived. The way she took care of him without uttering a single word of complaint still made him chuckle from time to time.

When he finished bathing, he headed outside the bathroom and wearing nothing but a towel that was wrapped on his h.i.p.s.

To his surprise, there was a bag with men's clothes hanging on the door knob. He smiled, this woman never failed to surprise him in the slightest.

After changing into the set of pyjamas she got for him, he headed towards her office and found her there, placing pillows on the bed, he knocked slightly

"ah Mr. Cheng, did the clothes fit you well?" she asked, still fiddling with the bed cover

"en"

"that's good then. Do you need me for anything else?"

"Why not ask?" he asked, wondering why it didn't seem to bother her that he was here.

"hmm? I'm just waiting for you to tell me Mr. Cheng, that is, if you'd like to."

"I'll tell you"

"How about I prepare myself for bed first, then we can talk?"

This woman....doesn't she realize what she's talking about?

"en"

"Thank you, Mr. Cheng"

Hui Yin walked towards the door but to her demise accidentally slipped on the bedding, she shut her eyes waiting for her body to fall hard on the ground

"ahhhh!!"

"I'm fine now, Mr. Cheng..please let go"

"hmm?" she felt his gaze at her clearly challenging

"I said, I'm fine now Mr. Cheng, please let go"

"oh? you are?"

she grit her teeth "yes...I am"

He looked at her teasingly one last time before letting go...

"thank you Mr. Cheng, excuse me"

When she was out of the room, she rushed towards the bathroom and looked at her own reflection. The woman in front of her was blushing profusely, as red as a tomato, she giggled.

"stop it with your nonsense, Yin" a voice called out "you are nothing to him. Or perhaps...you want your brother to see this huh?"

"then why, Yin? Why are you acting this way?".

"I....I" Hui Yin stuttered

"Is it...love? Do you love him Yin?"

"I don't deserve love" she growled.

"yes, you don't.So why? What are you doing acting like a teenager, chuckling like an idiot ah?"

"Do you perhaps...want daddy to die as well?"

"no...stop it..Stop it!Go away!" she trembled, holding in her tears

"Ahahahahhaahaha" the voice started to fade and once it did, Hui Yin slumped on the floor crying.

Why...? Why did it have to be me?
