Wonder when I'd get

A flower I'd never forget~

"mmhmm hello?" Hui Yin stirred, realizing that she fell asleep. Activating her bluetooth headset, she stood up and unveiled the curtains enjoying the sunrise that had yet to come.

"Yin" A soft and gentle voice sounded on the phone. The ringtone she set really was the right one she picked for him.

"Morning old Feng" hearing the voice she knew was miles away from her,she smiled

"Who's old hahh?"

"you" she chuckled, her tone soft yet a hint of mischief could clearly be heard "just kidding"

"Just woke up?"

"yeah, Feng how are you?"

"How do you think? I visited your dad today with flowers and he hit me with it, then he told me that you arrived yesterday but you never called!" he faked hurt

"hahaha it isn't my fault you're too girly for his taste" she giggled

"..."

"So? what made you call? besides checking on me?"

"remind me why you're there to work again? I mean, you clearly are very rich and can take over the company any time but you applied to be a secretary at another company. You left your daddy and I here when he isn't even forcing you to get married to strangers like other dads do??" clearly, the person talking was distressed by the fact that she went away. Hui Yin can imagine him frowning at the moment, with that, her lips bloomed to a beautiful smile.

"This would help me get better connections and information. It would also help me train my communication skills with other people, I guess? not that it matters. But the main reason is...it's really just because I want to."

"..aren't you coming back?" he asked, clearly disregarding her playfulness

"you know I only can after 2 years"

"But--"

"Besides, if you want to visit, you know you always can. You can bring Xia Lan with you too. Anyway, I'm going to prepare now. Bye!"

"Hey wai--"

'Phew' She ended the call with a sigh of relief. Hui Yin knew that if she made him talk any longer, she'd end up getting scolded by him.

She met Bai Feng 10 years ago when she went on a trip to Brazil with her dad. She was strolling around the park when she heard 'Ave Maria' being played with the violin. Walking towards it, she saw the boy passionately playing. All of a sudden the surroundings darkened, flowers seemed to bloom out of nowhere and he was blinding her with a sparkling light that seemed to follow him every step, but of course this was just Hui Yin's wild imagination but that's where their friendship started.

At first, Hui Yin found it hard to play the instrument since she never had an interest to it but with his persistent teaching and his insistence on giving her flowers everyday, she gradually learned and became better at it each day and in the end, they both played together in the park until he became the famous violinist he is today.

It was hard to meet up more often that they usually did since he had albums to record and photoshoots that bombarded his schedule but Bai Feng always made sure he had the time each week to visit her. The more they got to know each other, the more they realized that Bai Feng was much more girly than her though it didn't mean he like guys.
