The God's Throne

Summer passed, bringing forth the absolute p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e of life. The fresh waft of wind was strong, but mostly around the north of the Empire. The Empire was at the peaceful time of its existence; not as unstable as the ones around it.

"I should leave this academy within a year; it's too restrictive. Nul, you are with me right, don't you want to explore outside?" said Eria as he stood up from his bed. With a sigh, he jumped and punched Nul on the head.

Nul awoke in response to the attack.

"Master, stop waking me up so early," With a dissatisfied pout, he rubbed his head. For the last four-month, he had suffered unfair treatment every day. Sleeping was not only a necessity but also enjoyment for him; it was the only way he could remove himself off the world.

Eria slightly shook his head and dragged Nul outside the bed. Nul always slept twenty hours a day, which raged Eria. As a child of destiny and descendant of a god, he dared to daze around instead of training.

However, Eria was still surprised that Nul accepted his destiny of being Eria's servent. After hearing that Eria secretly scouted the hotel to make sure his friends were alive and well, Nul immediately accepted the burden.

"I am going to enter into the ranks an elite mage. Make sure no one disturbs me," Eria said as he threw Nul outside the room.

"Cleansing the body with mana, and then gathering the primal energy into one spot, in own's consciousness." Eria followed the way of ancient Gods. His transformation involved turning into a being similar to a god, so he needed more nature's energy than others. It was his self created technique - the Evil God advancement technique.

With a twist of his blade, he cut open five sections of his body: his two legs, two arms, and the c.h.e.s.t. Amidst the massive pain, he took out golden divine crystals from his space pearl and started to absorb them with a pained expression. It had taken him four months of daily tasks to collect them, so it was harsh to see them disappear one by one.

Wafting the energy, and condensing them into an immortal character, he exhaled them. Using his divine consciousness, he led the immortal characters into the heart and the four limbs.

Ohmmm

As the mana coursed around the meridians inside his body, the wounds sparkled with divine light, and closed by themselves. Moreover, once the mana came in contact with the immortal characters, it changed and started to sparkle with golden light.

The golden light replaced the components of his body slowly and gathered around his forehead. The light slowly entered the consciousness and fused with it.

"Booom"

A thunderous boom suddenly jolted Eria's body. Although it came from inside his body, he was still shocked. His consciousness turned golden and an embryo form of a baby formed. It shared a similar face structure to Eria; however, it was transparent and gave off the presence of a holy creature.

Soon, the primordial energy coursed back into Eria. Another boom came from his body as he entered into the rank of an Elite mage. An abundance of memories entered his brain as he concentrated his sight around his body.

Holding his head, his hands quivered as memories of distant past evoked his mind into enlightenment.

"Guess it time to visit the ...forest. However, firstly I will first go to the village and see the situation. I will collect the soul of 'mom' and 'dad' if their soul still lingers there.

Eria was a bit joyful as he ran through his past memories. There were thousands of king ranked and ten Emperor ranked technique inside his brain. The combination of these techniques surpassed anything the Zaphire Academy could offer him.

Looking outside, he could see the sun hanging up in the air, heading towards night. It seemed as though half a day had passed since he had started his breakthrough.

"Nul, you can come in," Eria said as he focused his eyes upon the sky. He was suddenly worried as he didn't hear a response.

He opened the door to look for Nul; however, he panicked as he couldn't find any trace of Nul. Sighing to himself, he soothed his emotions and walked to the library of the Zaphire academy; it was a place where Nul enjoyed his free time.

However, before he could enter the library, a sound of chaos came into his ear. Shifting his eyes towards the region of violence, he saw the source: it was the fighting area. The sight of two figures, going head to head on each other, sprang upon his vision.

"Nul and... Yu." He suddenly realized what had happened. Yu was a battle freak who challenged him each day. Even after ten hours of torturing herself from body strengthing class, she would come to pick a battle.

Not only did it scared the people around her, but also him. Nevertheless, he profited from each of the battles, and winning over a hundred battle left him with a ridicules amount of resources.

Seeing that he was unavailable, it seemed as though she had picked a battle with Nul instead of him. Rushing onto the fighting area, he could see countless students glazing at the struggle of Yu with amus.e.m.e.nt.

"Nul, finish the battle quickly," Eria realized that Nul was going easy on Yu. Nul was a soft person, so he didn't use rash words.

Hearing his master's voice, Nul used his spirit energy to end the battle, with Yu flying off the stage. Seeing Yu about to hit outside the battle stadium, Eria rushed and held onto her waist. He softly landed onto the ground, while Yu didn't complain about the situation.

Although Eria was a rival in her eyes, she started to see him as a friend. Although being held by the waist caused her to blush, she thought it was better than being unconscious in front people.

Eria smiled as he saw her red expression. He held her waist as he walked off to his dorm while Nul followed behind him.

"Why is a pretty lady acting like a brute. You leave your friend embarrassed, you know," Eria gently stroked Yu's head and laid her in his bed; it was the one he stole from the hotel. Yu gently laid down with a pout.

"Eria. You broke through," Yu's eyes widened by an enormous amount as she sensed Eria's aura. What surprised her, even more, was the fact that it was way stronger than any Elite mage she had faced.

Suddenly, her face broke from shock to happiness as she said, "Act as my boyfriend from now on."

"What?" Eria couldn't help but shout as his face vaguely twisted into redness.
