"I'm here to take my soon to be wife home."

Samantha coughed, and Eric was startled. The atmosphere turned colder, and he pulled Samantha's left hand towards him. Eric coldly said: "Let go."

Alex retorted back: "You let go of my wife's hand."

Samantha was crying on the inside. A simple meal became a fight, and she was the prize. She gathered her courage to face Alex and grabbed both of her hands, and calmly said: "If the both of you don't stop. I'm walking away here alone."

The cold atmosphere turned to normal, but the looks on their eyes were still icy. No one said anything, and Samantha still felt awkward.

Samantha proceeded to walk away from the both of then and towards the taxi booth. Eric gritted his teeth and said: "All right, you can go with him."

Samantha turned around and faced both of them and went towards Alex. She said to Eric sweetly: "Nice to see you, big brother, Eric. Hope to chat with you again sometime." then she kissed him on the cheek before following Alex.

Alex is happy that Samantha will go with him but seeing as she kissed Eric, he still felt jealous when he saw Samantha kiss Eric. Alex led Samantha into his sedan, and his assistant drove off.

Samantha asked Alex: "How did you know I was here?"

Alex answered lied to her by saying: "Jason showed me the video of you and your stepsister Jessica and how Eric dragged you off, so I deduced you were here."

Alex used the GPS tracker in her purse. Good thing that Samantha still did not buy a new purse or handbag or else Alex would have asked Hacker Z to find the two of them.

Samantha felt something suspicious, but she believed Alex because she thought that there was no reason for Alex to lie.

Samantha asked curiously: "What video are you talking about?"

Alex answered: "The hottest topic in social media right now."

Samantha quickly checked her social media and saw the hottest topic, and she clicked the link. She saw herself on the video being chased away from the store by the owner and how she took the card out.

The store manager immediately changed sides, and Jessica was mad and tried to slap her when Eric came to her rescue.

Samantha was amazed that she was on the hottest topic. Most of the commenters defended her, and only the group of Jessica mocked her, but her fans quickly defeated them.

Samantha commented: [Thank you for defending me] ending with a winky face emoji. Her fans quickly heart the comment.

Samantha closed her phone and saw Alex still looking expressionless as ever. Now that Eric is here, she wanted to spend some time with him, and there was still a part of her that likes him.

Samantha wanted to make sure whether or not she still likes him. Samantha texted Eric: [When are you available?]

Eric quickly texted back: [Anytime you want, sweety.]

Alex saw his text and clenched his fists. Samantha was glad, so she texted back: [I will tell you later when I'm available.]

Eric quickly texted back some heart emoji, and Samantha blushed. Alex's veins almost popped out because of how hard he is clenching his fist.
