Alex opened his phone, and the movie started. The lights dimmed, and Samantha focused on the film. Samantha watched the movie fervently while eating and cut herself in the thumb finger.

Samantha wanted to put her finger into her mouth to suck the blood when a cold arm grabbed her arm.

"You're not a vampire," Alex told her while cleaning her wound with hydrogen peroxide. Samantha saw a first aid kit beside Alex. He came prepared for this? She felt the stinging pain of the ointment in her wound. Alex then put a band-aid in her wound.

"Thank You," Samantha said while blushing. Alex nodded and continued watching the movie. He never really get why Samantha would like this kind of movie. It was a romance film for a.d.u.l.ts. She forgot that there were intimate scenes in the movie, and when she watched them, she coughed embarrassedly.

She secretly glanced at Alex and saw his expressionless face as though what he saw was has nothing to do with him. There were m.o.a.ning heard from the audio and Samantha blushed even more.

'Jason, you bastard!!!' Samantha roared in her heart.

'I will settle with you later.'

Samantha did not glance anymore at Alex and continued watching the show. The show ended, and Samantha was sleepy, she had a long day, from meeting Alex, getting kicked out of the house, then going on a date with Alex. She wants to lay on a bed.

Alex stood up, and Samantha stood up. They went outside of the restaurant without anyone speaking. Alex opened the car door and signaled Samantha to go in. She complied and Alex close the door before going in the car from the driver's seat side.

Alex turned on the engine then asked Samantha: "Where are you going to sleep tonight?"

Samantha wondered why he would ask. he continued: "You can sleep at my place tonight."

Samantha panicked and shook her repeatedly: 'I-I have a p-place to stay."

Alex started driving and kept quiet. Samantha thought that she was already safe, but she noticed that this is not the road towards Irene's house.

"Umm, where are we going?" Samantha asked Alex. "We're going to my place." Alex answered firmly. Samantha felt panicked. "Why?".

Alex was now the one confused: "Didn't you know that the date is seven whole days?"

What he said sounded like thunder in her ears. Samantha did not know that this would happen. She was only a replacement of Irene, so no one bothered to explain to her because they thought she already knows.

Alex smiled in his heart. The truth was, it was only a day but he arranged it with Mrs. Johnson and she agreed to make Samantha's date a whole seven days.

Alex drove to his house and pressed a button on his phone that automatically opened the gate.
