Maya smirks and instructs Sarah seriously "Then bring the children to my chamber and ask Celina to take care of them. You have to accompany me to welcome those persons. I don't know what I have to do there".

Sarah stops her "No Ma'am! Our Queen doesn't have to leave her chamber to welcome anyone! Except Her husband! Even if The Emperor or Empress pays a visit, even they can't order you to welcome them leaving your chamber!  I don't understand why they are asking Ma'am to go to the entrance personally!".

Maya tilts her head and asks Robin who was standing worriedly "Is she saying the truth?".

Robin answers with a slight bow "Indeed Ma'am! Our Queen could only be ordered by Her King to leave the chamber. Not even The Emperor could do anything without Her consent as the Chief Servant said".

Maya frowns "Then why are the Officials asking me to do so?".

Sarah too gets confused "Ever since Empress Claudia added this new rule decades ago, I have never heard of anyone dared to break this rule. This rule limited even Emperor's complete power over women's privacy".

Robin too frowns "The Officials of The Imperial Court are the ones who are responsible to prevent the rules from people breaking them. How can they break those rules themselves now?!".

Maya smirks "Then why don't we remind them the rules? Bring the children and-".

Maya sends Sarah to bring the children and Celina.

She looks at Robin and speaks "You have to make sure that they remain safe in here and nobody enters the chamber at any cost!".

Robin nods "Yes Ma'am! This servant understands!".

Maya takes a deep breath 'I am still unaware of their motive behind this arrival! And how could I even face them when I don't even know any etiquettes?! What if they look down on me? I can't call everyone I see in this nation to fight with me to close their mouth, can I?!'.

After Sarah comes leaving everyone in Maya's chamber, Sarah asks reluctantly "Can we wait till Prince Xavier appears?!".

Maya smiles "What if those Officials of your nation break into my chamber till then?".

Sarah cries in shock "How audacious! They can't -".

Maya mocks "They are audacious enough to order me to come out of my chamber Sarah. Do you think your Prince's appearance could change anything in this situation?".

Sarah looks perplexed and speaks "I will be with you. Please don't speak other than any greetings. They can't be treated like Princess Veronica. The mistake of last time should not be repeated. Our simple mistake can cost some dire situations".

Maya smiles "You tend to know me Sarah. Alright. But my patience doesn't have any proper threshold. It can disappear anytime".

Sarah too smiles nervously "As long as we don't do any mistakes, we would be fine".

Maya walks silently. She is very nervous than Sarah. Her heart trembles for some reason. Ever since she landed in this place, she couldn't spend a peaceful night!.

'What if I open my mouth and buy my very own destruction? A mere general Christopher ended up fighting with a b.a.r.e handed woman to quench his male chauvinistic ego! I wish that I don't involve much in this matter but I have no other way to relieve myself from this Curse!'.

She holds her head high and sighs 'Many mythical epics say even Lords faced terrible hardsh.i.p.s to relieve themselves from their Curse! Why can't I even try?'.

She nods to herself in determination and walks with Sarah silently.

"The Queen of The Northern Country has arrived!".

As soon as the announcement reached everyone's ears, the whole pavilion is filled with a round of laughter.

Maya clutches her fist and looks at worried Sarah.

Sarah bites her lip and looks at the people who were laughing as if they heard something ridiculous.

'What happened to these people? Why aren't they greeting Our Queen?! Instead why are they laughing?! Do they want to embarrass ourselves in front of a guest came from a different nation?!'.

'What would she think of our hospitality? She is already thinking bad about the administration! Now these stupid people are proving her right!'.

Maya prepares her mind to withstand without losing her temper as long as she can.

A man asks looking around his men "What happened everyone?! Don't you want to greet Our Queen?!".

Sarah sighs in relief and whispers "At last someone remembered their etiquette!".

She jerks by the sound and creases her eyebrows 'What's happening?'.

She looks back at Maya who is weirdly calm.

Maya nods at Sarah and Sarah remains silent.

The man clears his throat and smirks looking at Maya "I didn't think a mere commoner could be a marvelling beauty! But Poor Lady! Such a waste!".

The men starts whispering and laughing.

Maya chuckles involuntarily "What a weird coincidence Sir! I too think the same! Such a waste to be here!".

SILENCE

Suddenly the entire place become silent making Maya to recall her last 'conversation' with Christopher.

'I told you. My temper is unpredictable. .'.

Sarah gets anxious but her heart was at peace.

'At least she speaks patiently... Instead of fighting like last time..'.

The man smirks "Indeed! So Our Queen can even speak! Why did I think that you could be a mute?!".

Maya smirks with a mocking smile "It's fortunate that Sir has mentioned otherwise I would have thought You were an ugly deaf who couldn't hear about Your Queen!".

Sarah giggles suddenly and bites her lip hard to control her laughter.

'Celina should have been here... It's hard even for me to control my laughter! Maya is surely brave and even clever enough to rebuke his sarcastic 'mute' comment! How could she slap others with the truth! This man is indeed ugly! Who would have dared to tell him on his face? No one would have told him as he is an Official of Imperial Court!'.
