Maya sits on a rock grabbing her layers of skirts.

(Am I mentioning a lot about the skirt?! I am helpless..I love those Princess's Royal skirts! I fantasized wearing them in my childhood..I bet everyone would! Maya is just a broken part my fantasy. Now back to the story. Maya near the brook..).

She is still feeling the stinging pain and takes a deep breath. She removes the glows rom her hands and throws in ground.

'Try to recall some spells Maya... You have been using the book since childhood? You should remember something?!'.

Her mind subconsciously asks 'You were keeping the book since childhood. Were you actually using it?'.

She sits folding her legs in a meditating posture and concentrates deeply.

'I CURSE YOU TO FORGET WHATEVER YOU HAVE LEARNT! Even though you learnt how to read and write, you won't be able to use the knowledge in future! You can't get help from written words in your whole life! I curse you for lying your Master!'.

She opens her eyes in shock!

She gulps hearing the words echoed in her ears and gasps "I shouldn't have lied ...".

She opens her mouth to console herself but closes sulking 'Now I feel what Karnan would have felt.. The lie costed everything I learnt..'

Maya sits slumping her shoulders down. She winces holding her left hand and screams "What should I do?!".

'I know ... I had been so mischievous in my childhood. My father used to tell me that.. I am a very great at learning and disobedience!'.

'I have cursed just twice. Still those curses are showing me hell in Earth!'.

She frowns "In the story Karnan fought with bunch of curses and also crusaded for his rights throughout his life. Can't I survive with a couple of them?".

MADAM MARY HAS ARRIVED.

Emperor Philips smiles hearing the announcement and looks at his wife entering the chamber with Holy Bible in her hands.

Every night she would read Bible for the Emperor. It was their regular routine to keep their hopes high at this point.

Whenever you feel everything is out of your control, let the universe decide for you. Name the universe as whatever you wish for. God or some extraordinary power which drives the universe.

Mary sits beside his bed keeping the Bible and holds his hand "How are you feeling after the new medicine Majesty?".

Philips squeezes her hand and smiles warily "Bitter. I would be served better in hell".

Mary just stares him silently.

Philips looks at his wife in complete adoration. Since his wife Claudia left him, Mary has been taking care of his degrading health.

He asks "Why are you silent My Lady?".

Mary asks "Have you thought of the future? Scarlet and Anthony's mischiefs are increasing since you fell ill. I am hearing many news which is creating chaos in the nation and I am very dissatisfied with Majesty for being so selfish".

"Did Majesty hear the rumours? People are talking that Crown Prince is behind this incident in The Countryside Pavilion! Majesty... It's unjust.. How can you not think of all these problems? How can you be selfish about thinking of leaving?"

She adds worriedly "Today Scarlett has chased her new teacher! Anthony is completely spoiled and made his Masters to kneel before him! His self-conceited behaviour is getting more hard to control! Now Crown Prince and Xav is not here.. Only Majesty can take control over these hardsh.i.p.s!".

Whether it's reading hopeful Bible for him or sharing him the stories of his children's mischiefs!. She doesn't leave a single chance to fill his heart with hopes.

Philips is lost in thoughts. Mary sighs tiredly and starts reading Bible for his husband. It's good for him to think.

Philips smiles faintly getting out from his oceans of thoughts and says "I find our daughter-in-law quite amusing".

Mary closes the Bible and asks with a smile "Would you like to share the happiness with me?".

She is astonished to see his smile thinking about a stranger. Even though the stranger was his friend's daughter, Mary never thought he would admire a commoner!.

'Who would find a commoner amusing?!'.

Philips hands her the message that he received from Maya "Read this".

Mary opens the cloth and frowns "From a servant?".

Philips speaks "Read the content!".

Mary reads the message seriously. She opens her eyes wide while reading the final lines and gasps.

'The nerve of that girl!'

Philips smirks "I could predict her miserable future with Xander!".

Mary speaks "Crown Prince Kalki would never stand this girl's audacity. She can't survive in Royalty!".

Only Emperor and Xavier in this whole nation will call Kalki by this name 'Xander'.

Even Veronica will call him Kalki.

Philip mumbles "I don't think so My Lady..".

Mary is restless now. She asks in disbelief "Is this what liked you about her?! How audacious!".

She stands in rage "The nerve of a mere common girl! I will make sure she decays in Cold Prison for disobeying the edict and threatening the Emperor!".

Philips shakes his head and chuckles "Women are so impatient...".

Mary speaks in anger. She starts fuming "Let me be! I can't let that imm.a.t.u.r.e girl to do whatever she likes!".

Philips sighs dissatisfied "I thought you would find something impressive about her!".

Mary frowns "Impressive?! Majesty.. she just courted her death by daring enough to write this thing! Ignorance of her sure had taken its toll!".

Philips asks curiously "Do you find that as ignorance?".

Mary clutches the cloth and declares "I will return once I settle this Majesty!".

Philips speaks "Did you notice her observations over the situation? She has been in this country for only two days. She already found the chaos, being a Non-Royal!".
