Xi Ana smiled upon receiving the message sent by Gian. It was indeed true that there are some resemblances in their personality that's why she decided to let the two met.

The reason why Gian didn't make it big fast even with his innate talent is because he is too proud for his own good, there are so many big companies who wanted to have him and there are countless of aristocrats who are more than willing to fund him to start up his own but he refused all of them and even gaining some hate because of it.

They were already friends that time and because of his nasty temper, he had refused even her help and Xi Ana being who she is, refused to be refused. And the story is just how everyone knew.

Due to the disturbing weather the other day, her trip downtown was canceled and she is only going to meet Li Jingli and Fang Wenna today.

As soon as she reached the underground parking, she can already sense that there is something wrong with her surroundings.

When the chauffeur went out of her car, it was a different person but he is also wearing the Li crest. But she got the feeling that there is something more to this man than what meets the eye, furthermore it's impossible for her not to be notified with changes like this. "Who are you?"

"Ms. Xi, I would prefer it if you would allow me to escort you without any problems."

Without a second thought, she grabbed the gun from inside her bag and pointed it in front of the person who just spoke. "What does your preference have to do with me?"

"That's not a thing a woman as delicate as you should be holding." he said playfully as he removed his coat revealing only his inner shirt, he didn't intend to wear the the disguise all throughout anyway.

"Do you think I'm someone with clean hands?" she's not a good person, everyone knows that, she knew herself that it's true. What people see in her is only a fraction of she really is.

"Everything you do now would be futile, if it was only me here the probability of you getting away would be higher but we're not dumb enough to do that."

The moment he stopped speaking, Xi Ana glanced around and saw that there are a lot of men in black who are scattered all over the place. Those were the presence she felt a while ago.

"I know." By this time she already know that any resistance will not do her any good and so she decided to put the gun down but not entirely putting her guard down as her finger was still on the trigger.

"It's your decision whether you come with us without any complains or you'd rather fight this one out. We know well enough your capabilities to fend for yourself that is why we brought a lot of people. Thankfully, the Li bodyguards who were sent to accompany you today weren't those of the executives or else we've probably had a hard time dealing with them."

The mere fact that they were able to deal with them only means that they as well were trained well. All the bodyguards of the Li's were trained vigorously and if they managed to defeat them, all the more reason for Xi Ana to be cautious of whatever actions she will do from now on.

Looking at the people around her she knew well that it would be pointless to resist and she would not risk hurting herself in a fight she couldn't possibly win, this is a physical fight and there are at least 30 to 50 people as her enemies, there is no way she would win.

This is not a comic book where the heroine would be able to fend off the bad guys by her strength alone, this is real life and real life there are battles you cannot win even if you want to and thus, this is one of those.

"You're too talkative."

With her confidence never wavering, she elegantly walk towards the car and sat comfortably at the back seat. It didn't even cross her mind that she might be killed any moment possible.

Right now, she is very curious as to who the person that is courageous enough to kidnap her in a broad daylight and in a territory that should also be considered as hers because of her connection to Li Jingli.

"She could be really obedient, I didn't expect that." the man expected that she would retaliate more and so he brought quite a few of the best among his men just to get her.

The man signaled one of his subordinates to come over and he gave him the keys as well as the Coat with the Li crest pinned to it. "To the villa."

"Yes, Young Master."

His subordinate walked around and open the door for him, he walked and sat beside Xi Ana.

"It would have been better if you didn't try to snoop around here, you're only putting yourself in a tight spot." he glanced at the woman who's guard was up and he smiled.

To some people they might think that Xi Ana is being calm and collected at the moment, although she is there's actually more to that. Her senses were at its best and he knew that even the slightest change in his breathing pattern is being observed.

This woman is really an excellent woman. "You know what, I think I might have started liking you."

"You're sick." the look she gave him doesn't contain that much of an emotion.

The moment the car started Xi Ana kept quiet for a while until this man said this out of the blue.

As she turned to look at him, a pair of obsidian black orbs which are very familiar to her greeted her. It is as if she had seen those pair of black eyes before.

She didn't realize how long did she look at his eyes only to be snapped out of her daze when the man suddenly looked away, she did the same and brushed off his last sentence, "You might as well think of a better joke that suits the situation we're currently in."

On the other hand, the man felt his cheeks became hot when the woman stared right into his eyes. They have the same color of eyes, not entirely the same shade but they were both black and her staring at him intently made him his ears and cheeks red.

"You're quite cold, aren't you? It did not even cross your mind that I might actually be really into you."

Xi Ana snorted and didn't respond anymore which made him quiet as well.

He glanced at her who is looking outside the window. This is the first time he'd seen this woman in person and there is no doubt, she really is gorgeously beautiful and it is not something anyone could argue about.

Just now, he is thinking whether the 'joke' Xi Ana was referring to is really just something that came out of his mouth and will pass the ears without inflicting anything or something he might have blurted out genuinely.
