It was already late at night when she arrived at City M, she is currently resting in her penthouse. Her penthouse is located on top of the most prestigious hotel in the whole of City M which is currently owned by the young master of the Li Family, Li Jingli.

There is another reason why she wanted to help out with this matter, it is because her instinct tells her that the person who's been secretly helping the relatives of Fang Wenna and the person she's been looking for is the same person.

That man is powerful enough to follow her every movements when her own family cannot, it is also possible that even the members of the Nine Noble Families will find it hard to track her movements, having An Qi Lu, Li Jingli and Fang Wenna cover her tracks just like how they do with each other it would really be difficult.

But, like what was said, this man could really follow her anywhere. It's like she is being watched by him every second of her life.

There are times when he wanted to tell Lim Yi Sheng about the things she experienced and about the plans she will about to commence, she had the urge to tell him everything but unfortunately she doesn't have the courage to do so. He will be much safer if does not know anything. She already dragged her trusted friends to this mess, she can't bear to endanger any more of the people around her.

"Where's my Goddess?" Li Jingli inquired the moment he arrived inside the villa which is also the marital home of his best friend and his Goddess, Xi Ana.

The moment he received Lim Yi Sheng's invite for tonight he immediately agreed thinking that he will see his Goddess if he came.

"Aren't you ashamed to call your best friend's wife your goddess, Lu Nai He?" his brows were furrowed as he asked the question.

He sat comfortably and poured himself a glass of wine which was already prepared in front of them.

Swirling the glass on his delicate fingers he retorted at his friend's comment, "Why would I? It's not like I'm taking liberties on her. Xi Ana is the Goddess of the whole City A and I'm just a lowly human taking advantage of being the best friend of her husband."

"You're truly shameless." Lim Yi Sheng answered coolly which made the other person smile.

The moment he got married to Xi Ana he realized that he can be very irrational at times which he didn't know previously.

He can be jealous even with a woman, he misses her dearly even though they were only away from each other for a couple of hours. He would even create opportunities to steal kisses and intimate interactions with her. As days pass by he becomes more and more shameless.

"So, where is she? I don't see her anywhere." he glanced around and saw no one.

He knew that the the husband and wife don't live with their servants like most people with the same status as them do. The both of them were aloof and doesn't really like being surrounded by a lot of people so this set up is best suited for them.

"She went on a business trip in City M." she's been away for two days yet it felt like an eternity considering the fact that prior to her business engagement in City M, Lim Yi Sheng was already away for a week.

Hearing that Xi Ana wasn't around, Lu Nai He stood and was prepared to leave.

Lim Yi Sheng threw him a glare and spoke in a cold tone, "I dare you to leave, Lu Nai He."

The man immediately sat and forced a smile at the person who's giving off menacing aura. This man really is ruthless, "We've been friends for how many years and even I wasn't spared with that glare how I've never seen you looks as scary as this in front of Xi Ana?"

"She's my wife, she's too lovely that I can't help but soften in front of her."

Lu Nai He almost vomited blood! That look is certainly the look of a person who's madly in love! He said inside his mind through gritted teeth and because he can't bear to look at the face of the lovesick man he immediately cleared his throat to bring him back to reality.

"Since you called me while your wife is away I believe you want to talk about something you don't want her to know, is that right?"

Upon hearing his friend's words he composed himself and said, "It's not like I don't want to tell her about everything, it's just that its too dangerous."

Lim Yi Sheng took out a few doc.u.ments from his bag and pushed it front of Lu Nai He which the latter took and opened. "I'm surprised you managed to find a donor that matched perfectly with her. Did you flip the whole underground society to obtain this?"

There is no better place to look for a donor immediately other than the black market Lu Nai He knows this because he also tend to get donors here from time to time, but don't jump into conclusion that they kill people to obtain these because they do not.

They are very particular when it comes o the donors, they only accept if the patient is already brain dead and the family is willing thus paying them a hefty amount if money.

He gently closed the doc.u.ment and glanced at the man in front of him, they've been in a constant struggle to find the perfect heart donor for her. They've exhausted all the legal means but to no avail so they had to resort to the black market.

There are countless rumors about Lim Yi Sheng being a part of the underground society but no one was able to prove a thing, just who would dare right? He is, after all, powerful figure in light or in dark.

"Do the necessary arrangements as soon as possible. I don't care if you have to bring every person in your team to America, all I want is for this operation to be a success."

As for her condition, I was informed of the American branch that she is very lively which is a good thing but that doesn't mean she's getting better. I believe you know that much." she's been confined there for almost a year now, her condition is special that is why it took them a year to find the perfect match.

The man was quiet as he fiddled with the glass of wine between his fingers, there are so many things swarming inside his head. Every singe thing demands attention.

"I know you've been on edge, but Samantha needs you too." the usual playful side to Lu Nai He was nowhere to be seen.

"I know, I'll visit her one of these days."
