"I apologize for underestimating you, President Xi." Xi Ana stood from her char and motioned for him to sit on the couch intended for the visitors.

The way the man walked is very confident and if one would witness the scene a while back he would think that this person walking right now is different from the one who knelt without hesitation.

Once they were seated the the man took the initiative to speak, "Do you really have a real gun with you?"

He was deliberately acting like he was really scared a while back because that was what they instructed to him, that if he was caught red-handed he would act as if he was just a simple spy who was blinded by money.

The family who hired him is quite influential and they said that he doesn't have to worry and if he really was caught they would push the blame on another family.

When he heard the plan it was as if he was slapped by the reality of what he put himself into and before he knew it, it was already too late to retreat.

Xi Ana cracked a smile and answered him with a question, "Are you sure that is what you should be asking me?" in her mind, what he should be asking is why she had spared him despite his betrayal.

When the man didn't respond she decided to speak and just like that, the temperature of the room seemed to have gone lower and lower with each second passing by, "You have to be proud of yourself, you are the very first mole that entered my Top Floor."

She paused for a while before continuing, "Why were you planted in my domain? And who do you work for?"

Although there was a bit of hesitation he managed to overcome this and started speaking, "President, before I tell you everything can you promise me that you will keep my sister safe?"

They were orphaned at a very young age and the only family he has is his younger sister, he promised before the grave of their parents that he would do everything to give her a comfortable life.

Instead of immediately answering, Xi Ana laughed which made Gao Bei Cheng confused and a little bit scared because of how sinister it sounded to him, "You should have thought about that before betraying me. You think the rumor about me being ruthless is just a joke?"

Because of what he heard, he was alarmed, "Please spare my sister, President. I will tell you everything I know I just wanted to make sure that my sister will be safe no matter what happened."

"Keeping her safe is not a problem and I'm not the type of person who hold grudges towards those around the person who have done me wrong, I usually return the favor directly to that person. Quit dilly-dallying and get straight to the point. Will you speak or not? Choose."

"I will speak." he heaved a deep sigh before continuing.

"It was the Fang Family of City M, the Fang Family of the Nine Noble Families that sent me here."

The man has been long gone although he was let go just like that, the man himself knew best not to test her patience after all the life of his sister is in the hands of Xi Ana.

He stated about everything that the Fang Family wanted him to do, every single doc.u.ment that was sent to them by Gao Bei Cheng. He also gave her a recording of every transaction he made with them unfortunately there was no concrete evidence that the Fang Family has a direct contact with them because all their transactions were made possible because of the assistant.

Because of their indirect announcement of their relationship, they found a concrete proof that Xi Ana is indeed backing up Fang Wenna.

Being by her side for years now she can almost recognize her facial expressions and right now she knew very well that there's a tinge of disappoint in her eyes and she knows the reason behind it.

Xi Ana looked at the petite woman beside her, "Xinyi."

"Yes, Ana Jie?" she asked.

"Will you betray me as well?" Fang Wenna's problem is indeed an important matter they need to attend to it's just that she expected that it would be connected to the person she'd been looking for, even though she hates to admit it she is a bit disappointed. But because of what happened today, the problem with the Fang Family needs to be sorted out as soon as possible.
