For a long time, he never had any worries because he knows that person won't touch any of his family, but now that he has someone so close to him that he's willing to protect he wasn't sure what that person might do.

Lim Yi Sheng was so engrossed with his thoughts that he didn't see that his wife is currently studying his facial expressions. She looked intently at his face. Their interactions looked as though they didn't fight at all but they both know themselves that they eventually need to talk about it.

Xi Ana heaved a deep sigh and decided to be the one to open the topic, "Regarding what happened earlier this day.."

Hearing her voice, Lim Yi Sheng's thoughts were interrupted and his body stiffened. He expected this but he didn't expect it to be so soon. He tried to calm his nerves and reminded himself that this is inevitable. For them to be truly over it, they have to talk about it no matter what. It's not like avoiding the talk will solve anything.

The load in Lim Yi Sheng's c.h.e.s.t that has bee there since their fight is starting to gain weight again, "Then let me explain first about Mo Chuxia." he gave her hand another squeeze.

Deciding to be the first one to talk was because he was somewhat afraid of what Xi Ana might say, he still doesn't know what is her connection with that Master An nor he knew of her past. To him, she was more like a mysterious wife in a normal clothing rather than the goddess that Lu Nai He is seeing.

Xi Ana nodded, "Okay."

"Mo Chuxia went to ask for Grandfather's help. Even though we already cut ties with the Mo Family after breaking the engagement, my Grandfather will always have a soft heart for her because she practically grew up with us and that shows why he was so lenient even after what she had done. I also didn't know about the arrangement until today when he called me and Mo Chuxia suddenly appeared at the office. My Grandfather, sometimes he's too good for his own good. He's not as ruthless a I am."

Indeed, the personality of his Grandfather is so different from Lim Yi Sheng's and every one knows about it.

"My Grandfather thought that it would be fine since I'm already married to you, and that I don't actually interact too much with the secretary because I have Feng Jinnian. Ana, I don't need a secretary and if you don't ant me to I'll do something about it. Lim Corporation really has a different organizational structure than hers. If Lim Yi Sheng doesn't have a secretary, Xi has a few of them although they don't report directly to her, she still find time to monitor their progress within the company.

Her silence is making him feel uneasy, "Are you really okay with that? If you're not, I will arrange a different position for her." the way their talk was progressing now was so different from earlier today.

Xi Ana shrugged, if she made Lim Yi Sheng deal with Mo Chuxia it would only show that Xi Ana has a problem with her or people would think that Lim Yi Sheng and her were not really in good terms or something of the sort.

"Just let her stay as your secretary, I trust you." she said lovingly before pausing for a second.

After some time, she decided to confess "Actually, I was not happy with the situation at all and I felt like it was very unreasonable of me to feel that way. I felt as though I was too petty."

Lim Yi Sheng cupped her face with both hands and wiped away her tears using his thumbs, even though she didn't say she was actually jealous this is more than enough for him. "You're not being unreasonable nor are you being petty. You are my wife, and you have all the rights to feel that way."

He leaned closer and kissed her forehead. Xi Ana held both of his hands. "That man.. you wanted to know about him right?"

He knows that she was talking about the pictures he had shown earlier. Lim Yi Sheng silently nodded, "The way you were frustrated about it you've probably done your research and found nothing and I bet even my connection with Li Jingli and Fang Wenna is something you didn't expect."

Faced with Xi Ana's words, he can't help but confess because indeed, he made someone research about it but there was no information about them on the surface "I asked someone to make a thorough research about you and your connection with the man on those pictures but I wasn't able to gather any substantial information. I only learned that that man was called Master An."

Xi Ana wasn't surprised with this because even if Lim Yi Sheng is undoubtedly a very powerful man, there is a limit to what a single man can do. Yes, he is powerful but she is powerful so is Li Jingli, Fang Wenna, and An Qi Lu.

"Its actually impressive that you managed to learn about Qi Lu's identity, only few people in this country will be able to do that. All the information about the four of us and our connections were kept under wraps with layers and layers of protection. One of us protecting is already hard to breach, but having the four of us protecting those sets of information, it might make it totally unbreachable." she is speaking the truth, it might sound like an overestimation but it's not. Being a part of the Nine Noble Families is not only for a show.

Learning this from her, Lim Yi Sheng realized why it was so hard to acquire any information about her, he even get to the point that he's questioning his capabilities and resources it turns out there are so many people behind the secrecy of the information about her.

Xi Ana stared at him, what she was about to say is something she never intended to share with anyone and by doing so she is making a big risk even bigger than that she had already taken.
