The Boundaries Beyond: Omni Realm's

Author Note: Lol! Sorry, but I'll be running with Jurassic Park 3 because putting so many people in Aliens is impossible. Just from watching the movie again, it isn't meant for so many people. The difficulty of this movie is higher than JP3 so it will be used later with much fewer people. xD Sorry

Suddenly, Darius and Ahri appeared on an island along with many others. Many people were actually separated from their respective groups on their way in, but Darius and Ahri were cautious and held hands when they entered the portal.

Their current location was a huge jungle with deep thickets of trees everywhere, it was even hard to get a good look at the sky. Darius looked at the others with caution, it was no telling how crazy people could get or how they'll take advantage of this situation.

Darius tugged Ahri clothes, indicating for them to leave silently while everyone was searching for their group partners. Ahri understood and they slowly slipped away, being with so many people wasn't anything good.

This many people would make them an even greater target of Carnivorous Dinosaurs. "We'll have to find somewhere to stay for the time being." They were open season out here in the jungle. Dinosaurs weren't your average predators in too many ways to explain.

"Yes, Maybe a cave or something, but that's going to be hard." Ahri knew that dinosaurs were super predators, they could sniff prey out for miles.

"Damn, this place is going to be a pain, it isn't anything like resident evil or World war Z!" In world war Z, he could hide and get away with ease. In resident evil, he had a badass protagonist to assist him and he could easily kite T-1s with no problem.

Darius suddenly remembered something, he had an ability card he had never used before. "Ah, yes, the Appraisal card or something, let me check it out." He reviewed the card and saw it had the ability to scan monsters and humans alike of their status!

"This is a good ability!" Darius wasted no time and crushed the card afterward. As usual, the card turned into particles and flew into his body.

"So this goes by level instead." Darius also looked at his stats, he would be wise to always update his stats when he was in the Omni Realm.

This ability had levels so he could only see so much information on anyone. Darius would have to level it up to see more info. He also read that if someone identifies you as their ally, you could see their full status.

Darius smiled and looked at Ahri, she was looking at him the whole time because he was silent.

"Huh? What happened?" Ahri asked.

"Nothing, I just need to see something," Darius whispered the word Appraise and scanned Ahri.

"Wow, it revealed her whole status!" Darius looked closely and continued "No wonder she wasn't really tired from those worlds like me, she has high mental stability and stamina!" Darius's mouth twitched a bit, but it made sense.

"Okay, let's go!"

Just as he said that, they heard several gunshots coming from the direction they grouped with those people. Darius and Ahri both looked back, things were getting chaotic that quick? Both of them quickly pulled out their weapons, they couldn't use any higher grade weapons in this world.

Only Common and Uncommon Weapons could be used. In this type of world with such low technology, the highest grade was common grade. Except for nukes, they were always much higher in any scenario.

Darius pulled out his Blood Drip Pistol, it was burgundy in color with black patterns on it. Ahri simply pulled out her tweaked Magnum. Suddenly, they heard hissing, then a silhouette lunged at them, to be exact, Ahri!

Both of them quickly took aim and shot the unknown entity with several shots. Ahri had already strafed to the side, she was doing so while shooting. The creature landed in the spot that Ahri was once standing as it slammed into the ground in a bloody mess.

Darius Blood Drip pistol's passive ability had activated when he fired at it. Darius and Ahri looked at the creature and found it be a dinosaur. They both immediately recognized it with just a glimpse, it was one of the worst types of dinosaurs, no, it was the worst!

Velociraptor!

Darius examined it with his new skill, this would raise the level of it faster if he examined new creatures with it.

Darius couldn't see much information, but he knew it was dying from their attack. Ahri cringed and pointed her gun at the squealing dinosaur's head, finishing it off.

Darius sighed, couldn't they just survive for once and not have these missions pop up when they killed something? Of course, it was optional, but who wouldn't want to do them with such generous rewards?

Suddenly, they heard more gunshots and several screams from afar. The Velociraptor numbers were increasing and so was their kill count!

"Not good! Run!" This wasn't good, they couldn't stay here! They quickly ran off into the thick green jungle, at that moment, five Velociraptors jumped out of the thicket. They quickly picked up on Ahri and Darius, they spotted their dead buddy and rushed off to the scent of the duo.

"Darius, we can't outrun them!" Ahri was starting to panic a bit, these Raptors were very fast! Darius looked around, he recalled that raptors couldn't climb!

"The Trees, climb up the trees!" This also happened in the movie, it was the best way to get around these dinosaurs.

Ahri ran to a tree and quickly started climbing with Darius behind her. She began to slide down a bit from panic, but he pushed her up from her b.u.t.t.o.c.k.s. With this distressful situation, she really had no time to think about her b.u.t.t being touched, nor did he.

Ahri was truly scared for the first time. Jurassic Park was the first horror movie she watched when she was a little girl. To be exact, the first movie was Jurassic park then the Lost World, she had never seen Jurassic Park 3 before.

Seconds later, several Raptors appeared at the foot of the tree, they jumped up to see if they could grab any of them but couldn't. These guys would only cause trouble later, so Darius started to shoot them one by one.

They both started to shoot at the group of Velociraptors, they manage to kill 3 each since more had shown up.

Seeing that they couldn't reach nor could they kill these people, they began to retreat fast. They were being killed off without the ability to retaliate, what more could they do? Ahri sighed in deep relief, she was quite fearful of dinosaurs it would seem!

Boom!

They could still hear many gunshots coming from the jungle, they even heard some explosives going off! The explosion was quite big, Darius assumed that it must be a rocket or bomb of some sort.

"Someone's using these types of weapons here, are they trying to attract more dinosaurs?"

Technically, dinosaurs would flee from hearing or seeing such explosives, but not Velociraptors. This would only make them curious, thus, they would go check it out for themselves. Darius really wished he had some sort of perception ability to scan his surroundings right about now.

Velociraptors were smart amongst the Dinosaurs and hunted in packs. They were good at planning and executing attack patterns. They also knew how to set traps, and with their ability to kill humans in a frontal attack with no planning was already troublesome.

Ahri and Darius looked around the jungle, but the trees all around were so thick that they couldn't see much. The gunshots never let up, it was assumed by Darius that the raptors went that way to hunt easier targets.

"I think it's safe to go down, let's go." Darius looked around and said.

"N-no, we can't, they could be hiding, don't you know how smart that type of dinosaur is?" Darius confirmed that Ahri was indeed scared.

"I know this, did you hear those gunshots and even that explosion? They must have went over there to attack different people." Darius knew her fear, but they couldn't stay here, it was too dangerous.

"I-I" Ahri was stuck in a dilemma, the fear outweighed everything.

Darius stared at Ahri for a moment, but she reverted her eyes elsewhere and looked down.

"Okay, I'll go down first to check it out then once I confirm that everything is okay, you'll come down." Darius was also worried, infected were stupid and easy to deal with in his book, but smart dinosaurs weren't.

This was to be expected, it wasn't easy as the worlds advanced onward. At the very least, the last trial world wasn't so easy to get through.

"N-no let's wait a bit longer then we can both check!" Ahri hurriedly to stop Darius from climbing down. The trees in this jungle had many vines on them and crevices they could latch onto in order to climb.

"That sounds good and all, but this situation isn't, we have to get out of here." Darius shook his head, this couldn't work, they had to go!

Ahri clenched her fist and nodded. She also pulled out her bow this time, just in case.

Darius climbed down the tree slowly as he would look back often. Once he was on the ground, he scanned the area to see if any raptors were around.

"See, they're all gone." Darius turned and looked up towards Ahri.

Ahri nodded and just when she was about to climb down, she saw a bush shake! Darius quickly turned around and started aiming at the bush! At that moment, a silhouette ran out of it and fell to the ground, then stood up again.

It wasn't a dinosaur, it was a man!

'Pant pant' They're coming! We have to run, there are way too many of those f.u.c.kers!" The man had a biker outfit on with a black bandana over his forehead. He had a mustache and beard with black hair, he also had the nerve to wear shades!

"I figured that out long ago! Ahri let's go, quickly!" Darius called out to her again, she was going to when.

"Ah!" At that moment, a Velociraptor jumped out of the jungle and onto the man's back! It quickly bit the back of his neck and broke it with a twist of its jaw!

Darius frowned and took aim at the Velociraptor, it was a shame that the man died so suddenly, but this was how raptors worked.

The Blood Drip pistol wasn't an average pistol as it managed to put the raptor down in 3 bullets!

"That's five down, twenty to go!" Sadly, this wasn't the end as a group of Velociraptors came out of the jungle. There were a total of 5 of them, they crouched down slightly in an intimidating stance while hissing at Darius with their arms spread outward.

"Ahri, I'm gonna need your sniping skills!" Darius' face started to sweat while his heartbeat sped up as well.

"Of course, I'm already on it!" He didn't need to tell her, she wasn't going to let him die if she could help it!

Darius took aim again, he had to focus this time, it was truly life or death now!
