Darius approached the c.h.e.s.t under the gaze of everyone, they were all people who tried their fortune at the box but lost in the end. Dempsey said that if either Ahri or himself could get a Wonder weapon, then he would give them a perk for free and some equipment for free. Dempsey had already gotten the drop on everyone here, and he felt that Ahri and Darius were his next victims.

"Oh, man, it's another idiot fooled by that C.O.D. guy, he is just as much of an asshole as he was when I used to play the game, but now, I play Battlefield!" One man felt like Darius was an idiot, and that he was just another guy who was going to lose his survival points!

"Wow, this Dempsey character is shameless to the extreme, he picked the guy who looks like a sucker, I can't blame him for that, haha!" One man jeered as he deemed Darius a sucker. Darius' mouth twitched a bit but he kept walking until he was in front of the box. Ahri, on the other hand, was getting annoyed by these people but kept silent about it.

"Open Mystery Box!" Darius touched the mystery box and a glow of gold flashed as it opened up. The Mystery Box started fl.i.c.k.i.n.g rapidly through many weapons from the Call of Duty series! The weapon switching soon started to slow down, many people were staring seriously but most of them had sneers on their faces.

Soon, it stopped and a black weapon floated over the box ready to be taken! "Haha, it looks like he failed to get a wonder weapon!" One man laughed at Darius' misfortune, he was glad that no one was able to get a wonder weapon, if he couldn't get it, why should anyone else? Darius grabbed the weapon, it was a free weapon after all, so why not? He was still feeling some anxiety with the fact that he might lose 15,000 survival points!

The weapon he had gotten was called the PPsh-41, it was a world at war and world at war 2 gun, but it was pretty good for use. Darius said nothing and walked back to where Ahri, Dempsey, and Nikolai were.

"Haha, it's okay, Failure only makes us stronger!" Dempsey seemed very happy and encouraged Darius but he was obviously happy that he was going to win 15,000 Survival points! Darius looked at Demsey with contempt but said nothing in return.

"Ah, come on, don't give me that look, you can't win them all!" Dempsey patted Darius' shoulder and looked towards Ahri. "It's your turn young lady, if you fail, then you both have to pay up. If you get one then I'll do as I said before, haha!" Dempsey grinned deeply. Ahri looked at Darius' face that seemed to be losing its color, she knew his worry. She walked off quickly towards the box for her turn, this obviously didn't go unnoticed by everyone.

"Oh, shit, it's another idiot who is going to get scammed!" The man loved seeing people get scammed, it was so amusing to him.

"Shit, look at that chicks b.r.e.a.s.t, they're freaking huge bro!" One guy's eyes were glued to Ahri's c.h.e.s.t, his eyes were full of l.u.s.t. Many other people felt the same, this chick looked like those silent shy girl in the anime, they had their own fantasy about Japanese people and she was just that!

Ahri ignored them and stopped at the box, she touched the box and said: "Mystery box, open!"

The mystery box did its thing by opening-up and swiftly skimmed through many weapons. The mystery box started to slow down and eventually... It Stopped! The weapon was now floating over the c.h.e.s.t, ready to be picked up by the one who activated it.

"This is impossible!" Everyone's eyes dilated when they saw the weapon the box stopped on. Ahri wasted no time and grabbed the weapon with a big smile on her face. This weapon wasn't something she wanted but it was quite strong.

"F.u.c.k, What bullshit luck!" Dempsey's face turned sour seeing the wonder weapon she had obtained! Darius was shocked, why was she so fortunate, it was something he didn't understand at all! Ahri walked over to Darius, Dempsey, and Nikolai with a smile on her face. She looked at Dempsey and grinned deeply.

"Damn it, kid! How could you get so lucky, this is not the way it was supposed to be!" Dempsey scratched his head but he accepted his loss, he had scammed so many travelers already, so it was good enough.

"I told you, this one was different!" Nikolai shook his head and laughed while walking towards the back.

The item Ahri had gotten from the box was the Raygun Mark 2!! The greed in everyone's eye was starting to show, they all really wished they could rush Ahri and rob her on the spot. They wanted to kill her and take her weapon if they could but they knew the rules here.

"Well, I've won this wonder weapon, so now you have to give me and Darius the free items we betted on," Ahri said with a smile. She then looked at Darius who had a slightly dumbfounded expression, he wasn't expecting this. The Ray gun had a blue glow around it from what Darius and Ahri could see. They both recalled the white glow around the weapons they had back in World War Z but ignored it due to the situation.

"Shit! Okay, follow me to the back, you can choose when we get back there." Dempsey sighed and walked towards the back while being followed by both Darius and Ahri. Ahri walked next to Darius and spoke.

"What do you think of this weapon? Do you want it? I can give it to you if you want it." Ahri preferred bows and arrows over guns, she really wished she had gotten one of those bow wonder weapons instead.

Darius shook his head and said. "Nah, you use it since it's yours, ask them for some ammo for it, if I'm not mistaken then it would require special ammo." He didn't want to take her weapon, this wonder weapon was an upgrade of the standard ray gun from world at war. Ahri nodded as she understood and put the wonder weapon into her Space pouch.

The group quickly arrived in the back. What greeted Darius and Ahri was quite shocking, it was like a paradise of divine weapons. "As agreed, choose any perk you want, you can also choose any armor from the Call of Duty series," Dempsey said. What he meant was simple, they could choose specialist gear from Black Ops 3 and 4! They could even choose a juggernaut suit if they wanted but that was too heavy for Darius and Ahri, so they wouldn't choose that.

Darius was quite thrilled choosing any perk and a free specialist suit. This was because he was getting something free without spending a single Survival point! Ahri was curious about the glow around her new Ray gun.

"Mr. Dempsey, do you know what the blue glow around my raygun means?" Ahri finally asked as she pulled the Raygun MII back out. Dempsey looked at the gun and then back at Ahri and said.

"You guys haven't gotten that free skill yet? The skill you guys need to view the stats of weapons is for free." Dempsey paused and continued. "The glow around your Raygun Mark II indicates that it is a "Unique" Level weapon. Each weapon has a Rank to them and Grades within the Ranks from 1 to 3, with 3 being the highest within a Rank." Dempsey began to explain further about these ranks, and they both learned that there were a total of 9 ranks of weapons and armor. The levels are from low to high, common, uncommon, Rare, Unique, Epic, Legendary, Myth, Fantasy, and Divine.

"Wow, so she already has a powerful weapon from the start!" Darius said with joy, a unique weapon could be deemed as a powerful weapon this early in, how fortunate was she!?

"Correct, now that you know, please pick the items you want and scram out!" Dempsey just wanted them to hurry up and take what they won and leave, he felt bad knowing that they were going to get something free so he wanted them to hurry up.

Ahri smiled teasingly and walked over to the suit she wanted. "I want this one!" Ahri pointed to the Seraph suit from black ops 3 and 4! This was the item she wanted to pick, she had yet to decide what perk she wanted.

"Kid, you really are a greedy thing!" Dempsey had the urge to scream his head off right now, she chose such an expensive item in the shop and was getting it for free! The suit came with the annihilator which also made him almost faint from the loss!

"Hehe, you made the bet, I didn't." Ahri smiled and thought of something: "Hmm, I also want the Sleight of Hand perk as well." This perk was really good, she would have extremely fast loading speed if she were to pick this perk. Dempsey sighed and went behind the counter to pull out a card that showed someone reloading a gun.

Dempsey gave it the Ahri and said "Crush it, this would give you the ability of sleight of hand, if you get better at it, the ability will upgrade to the Pro version." Ahri nodded and Crushed the Card as Dempsey took down the seraph suit to give to her. These suits had stats on them which boosted a person's survivability. Ahri couldn't see the stats but she was sure that they were pretty decent for improving her survivability. After looking at the Seraph suit, she put it into her storage pouch/bag.

"Nice, show me my status!" Ahri brought up her status.

Ahri was satisfied. As she was checking out her status, Darius chose what he wanted. For safety measures, he decided to get the Spectre Specialist. This would allow him to use Active Camo or to use his ripper blade. Ahri had another ability for her suit as well which was called Combat Focus. This would double the points for each monster or thing she killed in a world which was very useful. Darius also chose Dead Silence as he planned, his movements would be silent which would allow him to sneak around without being heard.

"Okay, you two are done picking your items, get lost!" Dempsey's heart was bleeding seeing the items they had chosen, he probably would have had a heart attack if he had added to the bet of them being able to pick a free weapon!

"Wait, I need some ammo for my RayGun, can you give me some?" Ahri immediately spoke up

"Ah, right, the ammunition for the ray gun was called Atomo Cold-Cell." Dempsey went behind the counter and found the ammo for ray guns and gave Ahri a decent amount for free, this ammo won't be free next time so she better enjoy it while she can. If you purchase a certain amount of things from a shop, they may give you something for free, it depends.

"Thank you so much, kind sir, hehe!" Ahri grinned cheekily at Dempsey which somewhat annoyed him.

"Shit, hurry up and scram out of here you little brats, you've both robbed me enough!" Dempsey's face was slightly red from annoyance.

"Hehe, don't worry, Tank, we'll be back to visit you in the future. Maybe we can make some more bets, haha!" Ahri laughed as she walked away with Darius to exit the room. Dempsey's mouth twitched after hearing what she said as her laughter slowly faded away.

Meanwhile, Darius and Ahri began to talk. "Wow, I can't believe we didn't spend a dime here and got items for free, this is insane!" Darius was very happy with this ending, Ahri's fortune was quite good to have gotten herself a wonder weapon and winning a bet that gained them so much for free!

"mhm, you just have to believe, and all your dreams will come true." Ahri smiled and said. Honestly, Darius wanted to call her out for saying such bullshit but just nodded instead. They had to make their next move which was heading toward the Attribute area to boost their personal stats. As they walked out, they were eyeballed by everyone. They had seen that Ahri had won a ray gun from earlier and couldn't help but stare with greed, ill intent could be seen in their eyes.

"Let's go," Darius signaled Ahri as they descended the stairs under everyone's heated gaze. The people really wanted to start trouble by giving both Darius and Ahri a hard time but this was in the call of duty building and you would likely get shot on the spot by a staff member for causing trouble. They both eventually made it outside, on most sidewalks, people could see the map of the unit they were in. The unit everyone started in was unit 1 which they were currently in. It was a flag they had spotted that showed the number but they paid no attention to it. Each unit or sector had certain stores that sold different things from anime, movies and so forth.

As of now, both Ahri and Darius are heading to the Attribute Platform to boost their base stats. Soon, Darius and Ahri found themselves close to the Attribute Platform but afterward, they saw an old woman giving out a free skill. These abilities were free and were given to travelers who sought them. They both manage to get the ability that came in the form of a card, you would have to crush the card to gain the ability as done earlier.

"This is the ability Dempsey was talking about, the ability to see the stats of the weapons you acquire." Darius spoke as he looked at the skill card which said "Scan." Ahri and Darius crushed the cards, they could hear a Ding sound which indicated that the ability had been added to their status. After looking at their status the ability was added to their passive ability. Ahri was about to pull out her Ray Gun MII to inspect it but was stopped by Darius who deemed that it wasn't a good idea in public.

After some time walking, they soon arrived at the Attribute stand. Darius wondered if there was a faster way to get to these places since walking seemed to take forever. There were 3 people who seemed to be boosting their attributes at the moment. Looking at the machine that boosted stats, Ahri was intrigued. There were several colored buttons on the machine, each color represented an attribute stat. One would simply push the button of color and stand on the platform to have the chosen stat boosted.

"Dang, does each of the buttons do something different, why are there so many different colored buttons?" Darius was clueless, he was new to this, after all, this was the same for everyone else in this world so he wasn't alone in this, this was the same for Ahri who was also confused about it. However, a man dressed in white robes spoke out of nowhere to them.

"Ah, yes, it is confusing at first but if you look at this manual here, you'll understand." The man in white-handed both of them a mini booklet for them to better understand. After reading the mini-booklet, they understood what the colors meant. Red=Strength, Blue=Defense, Green=Health, Purple=Ability Power, Yellow=Speed, Orange=Stamina, Black=Mental Stability and there was white which didn't show a representation at all. They have yet to unlock this secret attribute yet.

During their swift read, the 3 people were done boosting their attributes. There were more than 100 machines here to do such a job, so there was no rush. "Ahri, let's do this." Ahri was silently excited and nodded. He went to a separate machine while she went to her own, it was time to get stronger!
