The Awakening Unknown

-Registration Center-

I stand in front of a 10 story building, so high it looks as if there was no end to it. It was located on the tip of the mountain in a private area. Standing in front of the building doors are two females, one with crimson red hair that flow down her back, as if it was a river of blood. The girl on the right seems to have a blonde ponytail, and an expression on her face, saying talk to me and I'll kill you. I turned to thank the woman in the cloak, when I turn around all I see is mountains, as she isn't there.

"Are you here to enroll as a Soldier,"the redhead said. As she turned to me with a warm smile, "Yes,'' I respond. "Well then follow us." They turn to open the door, and walked me to the registration room, "wait here" the blonde said, she handed me and card with a number on it, "when the number on the card is called, go in". I wait in a room, spacious fitting 24 people, as numbers are called they walk into a set of four that sits across from where we sit.

They give us a paper and clipboard, that we must fill out before entering the room. They ask for things like?, when were you born ? Email address, phone numbers, things like that. As I see people going in and out of the rooms, I find myself in a panic, as some walk out sobbing and some walking out with a smile on their faces.

I looked at the clock on the wall, and realized that I have been sitting for 3 hours straight. "Number 42," finally they call out my number. I stand, and enter the room. When I walked in, I see three people, a female with snow white hair, and beautiful indigo-gray eyes, the other is a man in his middle age, and a goatee with gray streaks.

The last is a man in his 20's, short combover hair, and a scar running down his eye. 

I have only seen a few come out with a smile, and this room had zero, not one person that entered this room, left with a smile, all left unhappy with their results.

"Hello I am Fumihiro Hansuke, that beautiful woman is Anja, and the scary one is Preben, nice to meet you" he said. "Your Abis Uzun correct". 'Yes I am,' it's nice to meet you. As I look in his eyes, I see someone looking for thrill. A smile on his face, and a fire in his soul, that burns hotter than the sun. In Anja I see the opposite, an ice cold heart, that is merciless on other's.

"You want to be a Soldier, correct."

More like I'm being forced into it, I think to myself, 'Yes,' after I said that her eyes lit. "Oh you like what you see, that never happens," Preben said. As Mr. Fumihiro begins to speak, Preben cuts him off, "this girl here, is the S ranks, special class, The Seeker." My eyes widen, I find myself staring at her. The Seeker is an S rank soldier, who eyes can see all, it's said that she can see the future, and the potential of anyone or anything. She is a master of the sword, and leader of squad 4.

"That is meaningless information, stop talking about me, and ask him the questions we need." The other two sighed, as if they were hoping for a different reaction. "

Follow me, we are going to run a few tests," she said.

she leads me to the back of the room, while the other two are clearly disappointed in her response, as they sit there with their hands over their faces. 

When we enter the back room, I see all types of gadgets. She put me through a series of tests, I was tested for my height, injuries, intelligence, and weight, she then takes me to another room. Where the other two meet us at, "we can't miss this, he seems as if he might be an A rank or even S rank."  Anja goes into the backroom, and when she walks out, I see her wheeling out a giant glowing orb, supported by specially made cart. "Place your dominant hand onto this Orb, we use it to measure the power of whoever is touching it." I brace myself for the result, swallowing my spit, and taking a deep breath, I lay my left hand on the orb, then a surge of lightning and energy light up the building, glowing a beautiful ocean blue, it suddenly stops. "Incomplete power, ranking level''X", the orb said. An X tattoo starts to form on my hand.  

"Huh, a X."
