The Awakening Unknown

"Time Skip"

It's only been six months after I have been discharged, after leaving the hospital, I was relocated into the middle of the royal capital "Athens" named after the goddess Athena. Even though I have been here for six months, I have never step outside of my proximity. Being to busy training my body, I feel a lot more comfortable stepping out of my home.

As I hurdle towards the royal capital, I begin to grow more and more amazed, the fresh crisp air, baby blue sky, and a lake that surrounds the area. A town where smiles are made, a refreshing affect that warms my heart. But even these smiles that I stare at, are nothing but masks.

As I walk deeper, I stumble upon an old man lying across from me. "Oh I'm sorry sir," the elderly man bows to me, as the last remaining  hair falls from his patchy head, his dehydrated body 'trembles', "You can lift your head." As he lifts his head, I helped him stand. 

His body, visibly starving, starvation shown from his lips, and wearing torn clothes covered in dirt. "Are you hungry" I asked, we sit on a huge boulder, eating a loaf of bread, " do you know where the Soldier registration center is"? I asked, but I instantly regret what I have said as his heart dropped, his eyes opened, and his skin turned in a snow white color. "I'm sorry for asking." He turns to me and says," it's okay, just continue going straight, then take a right, there should be a man in a red cloak to take you." As his skin color returns he mentions he trust me " although you have a scary and cold appearance, I would've thought a handsome man like yourself would definitely be merciless." Handsome, I been getting that since I was in the hospital. "Well thank you, I'll take my leave but please take this". I hand him bread and some water.

Following the directions given by the old man, I find myself lost, swallowed by the trees, the echoes formed by the birds singing, intense sounds of crickets chirping, and the sun blocked by the trees. The longer I walked, the sounds intensified, engulfing me into a state of lost consciences. Then suddenly, it stopped. When I look ahead I see a person standing in the only area without trees, the area resembles that of a ritual  or sacrifice ceremony. As I walk up to the I stay silent, I quickly identify this person that the old man described. A person standing still in a red cloak

"Are you here to become apart of the "Soldiers". The person in the cloak said, after hearing her voice and looking from up close I can tell that it's a girl, with medium length blonde hair as bright as the sun, and voice with words beautifully spoken.

"Yes I am." I tell her. She smirks, and brings out a blue orb. "Put your hand on top of the orb and I shall take you there. I hesitate, but in the end put my hand on the orb. To my surprise a surge of energy engulfs the two us. As I opened my eyes, I see that I am standing in a building. This is the registration center.
