"70 million!" a robed person shouted out his bid for the pot which gained the gazes of several people since he was not in the VIP area yet he was able to bid such a high price.

"80 million!" Yang Xin was angry at this man preventing her from acquiring her cuddle to...assistant and shot a deathly glare at the man like a mortal enemy.

"90 million!" the man yelled out like he was challenging Yang Xin to a fight, the man seemed intrigued by this treasure.

The bid went on as they shouted out at 10 million intervals until Yang Xin finally won at 120 million demon spirit coins as it seemed like the man could not pay higher.

However, this intrigued Nie Lan a bit because she was thinking about the identity of the man.

"Elder sis, I think that man is a bit suspicious..." Nie Lan gave Yang Xin her thoughts on the matter.

"Why would you say that?" Yang Xin was smiling at the thought of the next month...

"He was able to spend so much coins on the pot yet it does not seem like he belonged to a noble family, the Hong Yue Family would not cheat us as reputation is most important so that man could not be a puppet for increasing the price. The other major families are present so there are no reasons to have a middleman. So I think this might have to do with a force outside of Glory City...the Dark Guild for example."

Yang Xin was still smiling at the gesture of Nie Lan acting smart but at the end she put up a serious face. The Dark Guild is an opposing force trying to destroy Glory City. The topic could be the life and death of the entire city itself as the power was deep rooted and no one has ever caught a clue on it.

"I'll send a man to track him down... if it really is the Dark Guild we need to capture him and interrogate for any information." Yang Xin understood the severity of the matter and did not bother joking before going with two other black gold realm experts to stalk the robed man.

Nie Lan had gotten the Nightmare Demon Pot an happily went to a trading house to get some demon spirits. She had spent the entirety of her wealth to buy 10 wind lightning demon spirits and a mixture of 90 other random demon spirits then made her way home and informed people not to disturb her.

Taking out the pot, she could not help but stare in wonder at it since she knew how precious it was. She set it down in front of her and took out 10 demon spirits and placed them into the pot. She circulated her soul force and revolved the pot as it started combining the demon spirits into one.

Nie Lan knew the differences between demon spirits. There were poor, ordinary, good, excellent, extraordinary, and god demon spirit growth rates. These were attributes besides the original realm the demon spirit was in. Most Glory City Demon Spiritualists focused on the rank of the demon spirit so they did not bother with growth rates. This Nightmare Demon Pot is used to upgrade the growth rate of demon spirits and since Glory City is not privy to such techniques of identifying these qualities they just sell them based on grade. In fact, most of Nie Lan's new demon spirits she bought were of the excellent quality with a surprising bronze grade. Although it would take some time to grow, these bronze grade demon spirits would be powerful. She put in 1 wind lightning demon spirit for every batch and 9 miscellaneous ones. This was to try her luck for Xiao Ning'er as Nie Lan had firmly decided to help her. She carried out the fusion of demon spirits to raise the growth rates.
