Rise Of The Crimson Empire!

Well I won't say everything that has happened, I mean all we did was constantly travel and kill a few things here are there. Well apart from that we had made great progress on travelling to the distant mountains.

While we were travelling I was asking Sylvie more questions about the world and even about herself. She had told me that she had come from the Azure dragon clan that is actually apart of the republic. She had also told me her reason for why she is here.

I'm not going to lie I'm kinda p****d off about it, I mean yeah I haven't known her for long but I feel quite close with her. She had also revealed, although reluctantly her age. She is actually 725 years old. This came a bit at a surprise but I had remembered that she is a dragon and from what I remember reading about in my novels dragons live for a long time.

Sylvie had also revealed her stats to me but I wasn't able to see her skills. I know I could have just used my skill to forcefully look at her stats but isn't that rude? Not to mention that when someone gets to a certain level of strength they are able to tell when someone try's to look at their stats. Lucky me I didn't do it before finding this out.

Anyways here are Sylvie's stats:

So yeah Sylvie pretty much beats me in nearly all stats apart from the odd few and again just to clarify these numbers my look small but they ain't. She is very powerful and not to mention skills that she has.

She had told me just a few skills that she has and they are indeed powerful. Such examples would be that fact that she can turn into a full dragon and another being that her dragons breath (that she had levelled up to max) could take a decent size chunk out of a mountain.

Just these things alone proves that she is powerful and not to mention that she has lived on the continent by her self for a long time. So I feel quite safe in her presence, must be like when you have an older sibling or lover....no no no what am I thinking. Be gone stupid thoughts.

*Cough cough* well let's move on quickly, right now we are by my estimates about 3 days travel away from the mountains so we'll continue our journey there I guess. And while we travel I'll talk more with Sylvie and continue my killing spree again. So with that said I'll talk to you it a bit!

~3 days later~

Well like I said I would be back on in a bit so here I am! Well we have finally reached the mountains and I know this my sound stupid but they are a lot bigger than I was expecting. I mean huge. Well anyways turns out these three mountains that I now can make out are the most central part of this continent.

Around the mountains are various areas of interest that me and Sylvie are going to check out. The areas of interest include the beautiful rivers that run through the area, the forests that are full of life, the grasslands that stretch for miles. There are other things like a lake that had a under water cave system to it that constantly flows out into the ocean which is only a few hundred miles away. That may sound far but remember in this world people travel either by flying on giant beasts that Sylvie told me about, carriage or on the back of a contracted beast.

Oh and I may as well explains this. A contracted beast is different to my blood contract vampire skill. The reason being is that blood contracts are used on things that are from this realm. A beast contact is done through a spiritual sense where a magic beast is summoned through a magic circle from a spirit realm. This realm contains spirit animals or just commonly referred to as just magic beasts. In this realm there are also spirits that have a chance to be summoned when they wish to be and they can also form a contract with the summoner.

There are three main types of spirits but there is also a fourth which is a spirit king or queen. The main types are lower spirit, medium spirit, and high spirits. Obviously the higher the tier the rarer it is to summon and a spirit king or queen only answers the call of people they see worthy of them.

To be honest this area is absolutely beautiful and I feel like I don't want to leave. Like it's a perfect home location. I think that once I have had my fill travelling I may return and build a home here.

Actually I can visualise the middle mountain being transformed into a huge palace and having huge walls surrounding it. Yeah... yeah I'm building a castle. Why? I mean wouldn't you want to own a whole castle and town? Yeah there may be no one to fill this place out but if it was just me and Sylvie I wouldn't mind. Hey it's not like a married couple! Get your mind out of these fantasy's!

Ahem anyways I'm definitely going to build all my dreams here so I may as well claim this land right. By the way you can increase the territory you own by building things in your territory, having citizens, resource collection and so on. At the moment I can claim a territory the size that can cover all three mountains, the large river and the lake that is located near by. Eventually I could claim this whole continent but that would take time.

So with that said I did exactly that and went to work. This of course looked weird to Sylvie as it looked like I was making thinking faces while poking the air in front of me but I'll ignore the weird gaze. So after a couple of hours, and yes a couple of hours did pass, I had the palace and walls built on this 3D map. Yes I know I may have gone over board but from what I can tell it takes time to build and mp to do unless I use materials to reduce the cost. Thankfully I had an entire mountain to use hehehehe.

So to complete my entire grand plan it estimates that it will take a few months to complete. During this time period 1500 mp will be constantly lost until the construct is complete. So it's not all for free but it is significantly less than what it would be with no materials. Anyway I set of the process and I felt the mana being s.u.c.k.e.d out of me.

Just for reference the highest tire fire spell only costs 200mp per cast so it is a huge amount of mp. The human with the highest amount of mp is only at 900 so me and Sylvie could be considered monsters with our amount of mp... hey! That was rude I'm not a monster, at least by my definition. I was taught this by Sylvie so even though this information could be out dated I can more than likely assume it is true and still is.

But I'll still not forget the face Sylvie made when she saw what I had done, I mean it was hilarious but I won't mention it in front of her she gets quite angry when I do.

Anyway I had explained what I had done to Sylvie and what I had used to complete this task. At first she was confused but gradually her face became more serious.

After I had fully explained about my system to her she grabbed me by the shoulders which nearly caused my heart to jump out of my mouth. She had a very serious face on and had told me to not tell anyone else because they would want to take advantage of me and force me to do things that I didn't want to.

I mean I already knew of this and would only tell Sylvie anyways but the fact that she's worried about me made me feel warm inside. Okay no more soppy s**t let's move on.

We left the construction to do its thing while me and Sylvie agreed to come back after a few months of travelling of the mainland. We came to an sort of unspoken agreement that this would be our home and we would definitely return.
