Return Of A Star

Fulling going through the golden door, Li Hua found herself back in her bedroom, lying on her bed. Glancing at the clock that was built into the wall, she found that AI was right and only ten minutes had passed even though she was in her space for such a long time. Since she still had some time before dinner, she took this time to actually relax and get some rest.

After resting for twenty more minutes, Li Hua heard a knock on her door, sitting up she gave permission for the person to enter. A young maid with a baby face came inside, "Eldest miss, dinner is ready, please follow me to the dining room." She said holding the door open. Getting out of bed, Li Hua gave the girl a smile, "Thank you, shall we go." I said then followed her to the dining room.

Inside the dining room, Li Hua saw that her grandparents and parents were already sitting down. "My dear granddaughter, come sit next to me." Li GuiRen said with a warm smile. Nodding her head, Li Hua sat next to him and put off an aura of nervousness, her goal was to make the family wish to protect her more than Li Ling.

After Li Ling was finally seated, the housekeeper served dinner, and the family ate in a pretty harmonize environment. When the family was done, they went to the living room for tea and fruit for dessert. "Hua, your mother and I have already registered you in the same school as Lingling, I do hope you'll enjoy your time there. Also, Lingling, please take care of your elder sister so she can feel comfortable in her new environment." Li Jun said sipping his tea.

Li Ling who was about to eat a strawberry paused in her motion and gave a smile. "Of course, I will everything in my power to help my elder sister." Laughing, "Our Lingling is so sweet, I sure you two sister will get along wonderfully." Lan Fei said with a smile. Everyone laughed with happiness, all while not knowing that the two sisters were feeling very different emotions and thoughts in their minds.

"I know! How about elder sister Hua comes with me to my friend's party tomorrow. It would be a great way for her to meet some people her age and make new friends in the city. What do you all think?" Li Ling said with a bright smile. "That sounds wonderful! It would also get Hua a chance to meet some schoolmates before she starts next week." An Yexi declared than glanced at her elder daughter, "What do you think, dear Hua? I think you'll have fun, so what do you think?" She asked practically shining.

Li Hua could only smile when she heard Li Ling's invite, knowing this was the beginning of the end for reputation in her past life. Believing Li Ling truly wanted to help her, she was happy to go to the party and meet some nice city kids. Unfortunately, she didn't know that her cousin had a devious plot in mind and with the help of her best friend Lin Jiao.

Li Ling told all kinds of bad rumors about Li Hua, making Lin Jiao believe that she wanted to kick the kind-hearted Li Ling out of the family. Lin Jiao had absolute faith in Li Ling since they were childhood friends, so she had no problem doing Li Ling's dirty work. At first, Li Ling made Li Hua stand out by having her wear a very unfashionable dress. Then during the party, Li Ling spiked Li Hua's drink and it only took a few minutes before she was so drunk that she made a fool of herself. To make matters worse, Lin Jiao filmed the whole incident and spread it around the school, which gave Li Hua a bad reputation.

Li Hua clenched her fist in her l.a.p, that video stuck with her for her entire life and she could never fix the misunderstanding. Smiling, "Thank you so much for the invite, I really look forward to meeting some new friends." Li Hua said giving a bright smile to Li Ling.

Li Ling had a warm smile on her face but her eyes held an evil glint, she will make sure that Li Hua regrets ever messing up her perfect life. Once the family was done for the night, Li Ling made a phone call when she was alone in her room.

"Lingling, how are you? How do you feel now that you have that country bumpkin back in your house?" Lin Jiao asked sounding very worried. Li Ling smirked and sat at her bay window, "I'm great, but still feel a little worry. I could already see the difference in treatment, Lin Jiao, what do I do if they really kick me out for the real daughter." She said with a sad voice.

"Don't worry so much, did you invite her to my party tomorrow?" "Yes." "Then all we have to do is make sure the world sees the true face of that girl." She said in a cunning tone. Li Ling was very happy to hear Lin Jiao, she was such an easy person to use to destroy Li Hua. "Jiaojiao, you are so kind but are you sure we won't get caught?" Li Ling asked worriedly.

"Trust me! This hotel is own by my family so I can control what happens inside, all we have to do is make sure she drinks the special juice. Once she is crazy drunk then we'll film her and post it to the public. Even if she wished to explain herself, it would already be too late and then your family would see how horrible that country bumpkin is compared to you." Lin Jiao explained.

"Thank you, and sorry for making you go through all the trouble, Jiaojiao." Li Ling said and then ended the call. Li Hua enjoy your last night of peaceful sleep because tomorrow you'll wish for death.
