Return Of A Star

An Yexi left Li Hua in her room but not before reminding her someone would come to get her when dinner was ready. Once the door closed, Li Hua let out a deep breath and relaxed her nerves that were rung tight from her little meet and greet. Sitting on the bed, Li Hua looked around the room and smile at once again being in her childhood room. In her past life, Li Hua was only able to stay in this room for three months before Li Ling got her kicked out of the Manor.

Laying down, Li Hua closed her eyes and tried to contact the sweet mysterious voice that brought her to this time. 'Um, mystery voice, are you there?' She asked in her mind. A soothing feeling washed over Li Hua before the voice spoke up, 'I'm here, my friend. How can I help you?' The voice responded.

Hearing a response, Li Hua sat up and opened her eyes, 'You!? First, thank you for bringing me here but who are you?' She asked. The sweet voice laughed, 'I already told you that I was you friend, a being that wishes for your happiness.' Smiling, 'I understand that fact but I want to know your name or where you came from.' Li Hua said.

A few moments passed without the voice speaking up before Li Hua heard a laugh. 'I now see I skipped a few important facts, let me fix this small problem. Please, my friend, come to the space of Naline. Once you are here than I believe it will be easier for us to have a conversation.' The voice explains.

'Naline Space? What kind of place is that and more importantly how do I go there?' I asked. 'It's easy, just imagine a red door in your mind and that you're opening the door. Once you do you easily be able to enter the space that I reside.' The voice responded with a happy voice.

Li Hua wanted to enter this space and learn more about this mysterious voice but she looked back at her bedroom door. 'I really do want to meet you but I can't just leave not after I just return home. Besides I'm sure that someone will come up to get me very soon.' Li Hua said laying back down with a sigh.

'My friend, don't worry about such a silly little concern. Time works differently in the space of Naline, so you'll have plenty of time to ask any questions on your mind, and can be back in your room without anyone knowing.' The sweet voice said in a happy voice.

After hearing the voice's explanation, Li Hua thought she would take the risk of the unknown than live not knowing this secret. Doing as the voice said, she pictured the door and opened, Li Hua then felt another wave of warmth inside her mind. When she opened her eyes, Li Hua found herself in a sparkly space that looked like her past life's tea garden.

While Li Hua was looking at the garden in wonder, footsteps sounded from behind her. Looking over her shoulder, Li Hua saw a little girl dressed in a red dress and pink flowers in her hair giving her a bright smile. "You were able to come, I'm so happy to finally meet you, my friend." The girl said in a voice that sounded like tinkling bells.

Walking over toward the little girl, "You're the one who helped me, who are you?" Li Hua asked. The little girl gave a tiny bow, "My friend, my name is AI, the controller of the Love System." Ai said with a smile. Li Hua was about to ask more questions but she was interrupted by AI, "Before you ask more, how about we take a seat. The flowers in the west garden just bloom so it's extra beautiful today."AI said taking Li Hua's hand.

Li Hua just followed the girl in a daze, once they were seated, Li Hua had put on a serious face. "So, now that we're comfortable, how about you give me some answers. You said you're the controller of the Love System, what is that? Also, I read plenty of novels about systems in my past life, does this mean I'll have to complete missions for gaining this second chance on life?" She asked in a hurry.

AI placed a cup of tea in front of Li Hua and then sat down across from her. "My friend, please calm your mind, I'll answer all your questions in full details." She said with a warm smile.
