Return Of A Star

"Why!? I never did anything to you, so why would you do this to me!" Li Hua yelled glaring up. She felt weak as blood poured out from the stab wound in her stomach. Trying to keep her vision clear, she narrowed her eyes at the young lady who was smiling down at her.

Hearing a cheerful laugh, "You came back! I was meant to be the princess of the Li family but you ended up returning and ruining everything. If you never return, you would have lived longer, so you should blame your poor fate." The young lady declared.

Coughing up blood, Li Hua glared at the young lady who she only wished to get along with when she first met her. "I will never forgive you! You will pay! I vow I'll make you pay!" She said in a weak voice.

The young lady let out a cruel laugh and pushed her foot on the knife in Li Hua's stomach making her scream. "You'll make me pay! In your dreams! Let me tell you, dear sister, there are so many people who wish for your death. You were lucky when you were young to be saved but you shouldn' have returned to reclaim your life." She declared. Kneeling down, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to take care of mother and father and the elders. So die! Die by yourself, alone and weak, just like you were supposed to when you were three." She said standing and letting out another cruel laugh and walking away.

Li Hua's last view was of the young lady leaving and then the world turned dark all around her. As her body took her last breath, she made a vow in her heart. Li Hua felt like she was floating in a sea of nothingness and she was numb to the world around her.

'You poor child, I shall help you with your wish.' A mysterious, sweet voice sounded.

"Who are you?" Li Hua asked to the void.

'I'm your friend and wish for your happiness.'

"My friend?"

'Yes, I'll help you grant your wish.' The voice said then a white light surround Li Hua, making her smile with the warmth.

Opening her eyes, Li Hua found herself standing outside the Li Family Manor. 'My friend, are you happy with my work.' The sweet voice said.

Looking at her hands and then back up to the manor, Li Hua's face bloomed a bright smile. 'Yes, I'm very happy with your work. I'll definitely make sure my wish comes true this time around.' Li Hua told the mysterious voice. The sweet voice let out an even cuter giggled that echoed in Li Hua's head, leaving her with her thoughts.

While she was lost in a daze, trying to process the miracle of returning back to the past, a cheerful voice broke her trance. "My dear granddaughter, you finally returned home." Li GuiRen yelled coming out of the house. Li Hua almost broke out in tears at the sight of her loving grandfather and his bright smile. The last time she saw him, he had just had an accident and was dying in the hospital. At this time the Li family already had thoughts of kicking her out of the family, so she wasn't even able to be there when he took his last breath.

Even knowing that there are enemies in the Li family who wished for her death, she could always rely on her grandparents. When the public was against her and the rest of her relatives turned their back on her, the elders of the main family stood by her side to the day of their death.

With slow steps, Li Hua had to calm her emotions and stop herself from running and hugging her grandfather. Stopping in front of him, "Grandfather, I never thought I'll see you again." Li Hua said with a choked voice. Seeing his beloved granddaughter that went missing for so many years, and hearing her words, brought so many emotions to the old man's heart.

Taking her hand, "Let's not think about the sadness of the past, my dear granddaughter. Now that you are back home, let's think about the future." He said pulling her toward the door. Li Hua smiled but then took a deep breath as she took her first steps inside the Li Manor. 'It's time to show everyone in this family what I'm made of.' Li Hua thought as she followed Li GuiRen into the livingroom.
