Andrew keeps an eye for the wolf's movement from the place he hiding. After all the wolves gathered there, they return to their den, which Andrew followed from some distance. The stalking end when the wolves pack entering a cave which seems to be their den. Andrew marks that place in his mind and returns to the village after know there's nothing more to do in that place.

Along the way back to the village, Andrew keeps thinking how to deal with this wolf pack. The easiest way is by blocking the cave entrance with a big boulder and keeps the wolves trapped inside. But this tactic has a weakness, Andrew not sure if the cave has other entrance or not, how to move the boulder to the cave, and keep the wolves inside before the boulder closing the entrance.

Another way that Andrew thinking is making a large net to traps the wolves. But this tactic also has a weakness, it only can be applied to common wolves. Against that wolf leader, Andrew not sure if just a net can hold him from moving. With his size only, Andrew can calculate it would need more than 30 goblins to hold him still. It's not easy things to do, if Andrew will use this tactic, he must find a way to weaken the wolf first before using the net to catch them.

When he's jumping around the trees, his sharp eyes see some clearing area in the forest. Andrew surprised when sees the clearing area, it's not the clearing area but what grows in that clearing area. It's papaver somniferum, a plant with purple flowers, which grow lushly in that clearing area. After seeing those flowers, Andrew's mouth twitching upside. What lacked in his second tactic can be covered with this purple-flowered plants.

After remembering the locations of this plants, Andrew continues his return to the village. When he arrived in the village, he can see the remaining of his subordinates already gather there, with six persons missing. Andrew already knew what happened with those six persons after see the wolf gathering.

"Captain Brakke!! You return!!"

His subordinates greet him when they see him coming.

"Yes! I already see we lost six persons to that wolf pack. And we will not sit idly watching our comrade dead by those wolves"

"Avenge their death!! Avenge their death!!"

His subordinates become spirited again after hearing Andrew's speech. Their anger for the loss of their comrade makes them burning with d.e.s.i.r.e to revenge.

"We will avenge our comrades. But we need preparation for that. Collect many vines you can gather here. We will make a big net to catch those wolves and kill them. For temporary, stay away from that wolves' area"

"Yes, captain Blakke! We will obey!!"

"Half of you go gather vines. Half the rest come with me, we also make another weapon to kill those wolves"

Andrew takes half of his subordinates back to the clearing area, where the papaver somniferum grows. He needs to plants to weaken the wolves before killing them. In there's they collect the ripe seeds sacks and make an incision on the unripe sacks. They return to the village carrying the ripe seeds to dry under the sun. After that Andrew also takes his subordinates to search for bamboo groves that he ever saw grow near the river. Against wolves, the wooden club is not effective, Andrew thinking to make the bamboo spear to replace that wooden club that used by his subordinates.

After the other half of his subordinates return with vines, Andrew told them to make a big net using those vines. Of course, he gives the example first how to make it before his subordinates continue his work. Tomorrow or day after tomorrow, when the papaver somniferum that he collected ready to use, Andrew planning to strike the wolf den with his subordinates. But like he said before, they can't go if the preparation is not ready. He also told his subordinates to train using the bamboo spear as a weapon. He did not want those bamboo spears only become a decoration in their hands. At least with its long-range attack, the goblins can strike from a distance and did not have to get close to the wolf to attack them.

After finish directing his subordinates to make the nets from vines and training bamboo spear, Andrew returns to his hut. He can see the elf girl watch he coming but Andrew didn't give a bit attention to her. He still feeling hurt with that elf girl attitude toward him. He just goes to bed and gets some sleep again.
