Andrew quickly calming himself, the safety of his subordinates must put in first priority

"Where're the rest of the group members? How many wolves are in there?"

"They flee and return to the village captain, it's like a dozen of wolves are there"

"Did they have any casualties?"

"I don't know captain Brakke, we flee separately with the wolves tailing us"

"Okay, let's wait until they all return, while I report this to the chief"

Without wasting time Andrew goes to see chief Burak report this incident.

"Chief Burak! I have urgent news to report"

Andrew immediately said his intention when he meets with chief Burak

"Oh? What is it? I hope it's not another bear appears"

"No chief, it's pack of wolves that appear in that area"

"Wolves! That also as dangerous as a bear. Although they smaller in size, but they cover that weakness with number and cunningness. That's area must be avoided from now"

"Request permission to handles this incident chief!"

"You want to annihilate that wolf's pack? Do you have good means to do that?"

"Right now I don't have any ways to deal with that wolf pack chief, but I can think something later"

"Alright, you can handle this matter, but do in precautions. You're my captain and the village's hope for future generation. It would be a great loss if you die in the wolf claws"

After getting permission to handle this matter, Andrew leaves the village to check the scene. He's not forgetting to carry his sword with him. He chooses to investigate the scene by jumping from tree to tree because the wolf can't climb the tree.

During his way to the scene, from a top of the tree, Andrew saw one of his subordinates fleeing with a wolf chasing him on his back, heading in his direction. After calculating the speed and distance between him and the wolf, Andrew waiting for the wolf to arrive under the branch he currently stepping on. Holding his sword tightly, when the wolf arrives at the point he planned to ambush, Andrew jump from the tree and his sword stab the wolf's back through his stomach. The wolf died without even noticed Andrew attack him from above.

His subordinated who sees the wolf dies, stop his run and approaching Andrew

"Captain Brakke!! Thanks for saving me. I almost running out of breath because that wolf keep chasing me"

"Save it for later, where's the rest of the group?"

"I don't know captain Brakke, we spread and flee in many directions to confusing the wolves"

"Alright, return to village and regrouping, take this wolf carcass too. I'll search the rest of the member"

After giving instruction to his subordinate, Andrew continues to search for his other subordinates. He no longer goes to the scene but changes to other direction to the place that his subordinates may flee. He does not forget to look to any trials that left by the wolf when they chasing the goblins.

Along the way, he manages to save another of his subordinates and gain experience point from that. But he also sees some blood on the other place, indicating there are casualties among his subordinates. Andrew keeps searching around that area just in case his subordinates have clever thinking and climb the tree instead of running away, and if there's wolf waiting under the tree Andrew can kill the wolf and get some experience point again.

When he's in the middle of searching, Andrew hears a howling sound from afar. It's a sound of a wolf howling. Andrew's thinking, 'maybe their leader calling his pack to return' which make him decide to investigate and go to the where the howling sound comes from. After jumping from tree to tree, Andrew manages to get closer to the place where the howling sound can be heard. It's quite a shocking view when Andrew sees a big grey wolf with size almost like a calf standing there.

"Gosh! What a big wolf there. He must be the leader of the pack. It seems not easy to kill a wolf with that size. Chief Burak already warned me that wolf has some intelligence and their movement is agiler than a bear. I can't be reckless if I want to kill him"

Andrew keeps hiding in the tree and tries to make no movement that can cause the wolf suspecting him. One by one the wolves come to gather in that place. Andrew can see some of the wolves have blood in their mouth, which Andrew sure that must be the blood of his subordinates. Andrew gnashed his teeth, although he doesn't have any emotional bound with them, they still his subordinates. He must do something to avenge their death.
