Of course Xia Zhilan wasn't actually sitting at home watching TV, she had packed 'her' bags and was already at the airport, about to board the plane to country A.

She hacked into the software that Fu Sihan used to record all of her actions and made a loop of her watching TV so that whilst he's at work he wouldn't notice anything or send out some men to bring her back home.

And where did she get the money from? Xia Zhilan had just quickly hacked into Fu Sihan's company funds and took a couple thousand dollars... What? How else would Xia Zhilan be able to fly out, and live in another country in such short notice?

As Xia Zhilan's plane took off, Fu Sihan arrived home to an empty house...

After running around the house in distress multiple times, he found a small note on top of a small pile of doc.u.ments on the kitchen counter.

"Bye, I've decided to leave so can you just sign and fill in the divorce papers I've left for you?"

"F.u.c.k, I knew I should've had a tighter leash on her!" Fu Sihan said whilst punching the fridge and ripping apart the papers with bloodshot eyes "A divorce? Over my dead body!"

2 weeks had passed but there has been no sign of Xia Zhilan, except the constantly looping video of her watching TV, even on the neighbourhood security cameras.

Her bodyguards, who was supposed to be watching her 24/7 claimed that they didn't even see her leave the house.

However Fu Sihan had many contacts and somehow managed to find a short clip of Xia Zhilan boarding a train but no other footage of her was found after that. Although he had some suspicions of where she might have went, even his large range of connections could allow him to check private information such as bank accounts or flight details of passengers. Unfortunately.

'Thank you god for listening and answering my prayers!' Miao Zhiling thanked sincerely in her heart. Although Xia Zhilan's sudden 'disappearance' meant that the amount of worked increased significantly due to her boss' unstable mental state, it also meant that Miao Zhiling has an opportunity to win the love of her life back!

'Please she never comes back! He needs to see how much his life is better now that that useless bitch is gone! She's been dragging him down for years and now it's affected his company, including me.'

However other people thought the exact opposite.

"I wonder where CEO Fu Sihan's wife went... It's so heartbreaking!" a female employee said to her co-worker in a tragic voice "They are the PERFECT couple! It's like they came straight out of a novel."

"Exactly! I don't believe that Mrs. Fu would just leave him like that - someone must have taken her! It's so obvious that they're in love... Remember when his wife would bring lunch to him almost everyday? She's such a sweetheart!" the other worker said.

"Speaking of which, I haven't seen her in years... Ever since they got married it's like she's a ghost. Haha, how weird"

As the two workers continued gossiping, another employee who has only just recently started working here passed by.

"Who are you guys talking about? Our boss?" he asked interestedly

"Yeah, didn't you hear the news about his wife?"

"It's actually true? I didn't even know he had a wife!"

"I think so... Apparently, he's been in a terrible mood recently and I heard his secretary, Liu Wei, trying to calm him down the other day and he kept saying that he'll find his wife soon!" one of them said in a hushed voice.

"Wait, how did you not know he has a wife? It was ALL OVER the news and everyone was talking about it a couple years ago..."

"Everyone? Well, I only joined the company this year so I probably just didn't hear about it."

"What do you mean? I don't just mean everyone in the company... I mean EVERYONE who's old enough to know about the news. Their wedding was such a big deal! I even remember seeing girls on the streets crying over Fu Sihan!"

"Really? I think I only heared a couple rumours of him being married but I don't know who is wife even is." he said, confused at their shock.

The two female workers looked at each other with a similar expression on their face.

"Don't you know who Xia Zhilan is...?"

"...No? Is that his wife?"

"We're not that old right?" they asked each other "We're only like 4 years older than him..."

"What's wrong? Why are you guys being so weird about this?" he asked concernedly after seeing the look on their face.

"So you actually don't know who Xia Zhilan is?" she asked to make sure.

"Well, the name sounds kinda familiar... I don't really remember though."

"How? She literally won the title 'Film Empress' like two or three years ago! She's a famous actress! And she's the woman who's married to our boss, Fu Sihan!"

"She did? Wait, let me find a picture of her... Xia Zhilan right?" he asked whilst pulling out his phone.

A few moments later, he looked up at them in confusion "I can't find anything on her... Are you two just tricking me? I know I'm still kind of new but it isn't right to pull a stupid joke like this on me"

"What..?"

"Wait, wait! Remember when she came to our work-celebration dinner, like two years ago? I asked to take a photo with her!" she said whilst looking through her phone hurriedly to find that photo.

"Here!" she exclaimed whilst showing the photo to him.

"Oh yeah...! She starred in that movie... «The Weeping Princess» and «The Years's Voyage» right? How did I forget who Xia Zhilan was? Even I had a crush on her back when I was still in uni! I wonder if my friends remember her..."

"Thank god you still remember her! I thought I dreamt all of that!"

"Her situations kinda creepy isn't it? She was such a huge actress but even I forgot her and now... She's missing? Even her husband, big CEO Fu can't find her. It's kinda scary... Maybe we should stop talking about this... I'm gonna go back to work now." he said whilst shuddering.

"I don't like this... Should we call the police? I have a really bad feeling about this..." she said in a quiet voice to her coworker.

"Why are you getting so scared about this? She probably just retired from acting and didn't want any information about her online anymore. With her husband's power getting rid of any information online about her should be easy!"

"Yeah, probably. Maybe she's pregnant? And her going missing is just pregnancy hormones?"

"Yeah! How could THE Fu Sihan let anything happen to his wife, Xia Zhilan? I hope my future husband is strong, powerful and handsome like that..." she said in a longing tone.

"Same... Xia Zhilan and Fu Sihan are just so perfect together...! I'm so jealous of her! She's so gorgeous and her acting skills are so good!"

"Whilst Fu Sihan is just so handsome! And rich... Hehe!"

The two employees carried on chatting for a couple more minutes about how perfect the two are and how adorable their child will be whilst Miao Zhiling who just passed by, merely rolled her eyes at their stupid speculations.

"What are you doing here? Get back to work!" she said in an annoyed tone.

'Perfect couple? Their marriage is practically falling apart!' Miao Zhiling thought whilst chuckling to herself.
