After disguising herself, for the first time in almost a year Xia Zhilan left her cave and set off back to the capital city where the FL, Liu Chunhua and her golden t.h.i.g.h had returned a couple months ago.

When Liu Chunhua came back she heard may different rumours about a mysterious woman and the powerful but mysterious Heavenly Pavillion Sect. However when she heard about a legendary treasure of some sorts her eyes flashed with curiousity and greed and immediately told her most trusted subordinates to investigate the woman and her treasure. After a couple days none of them could find any information about her, not even her name.

Whilst Liu Chunhua was busy being aggrieved at the Heavenly Pavillion Sect for stealing blocking out information to do with 'her' new treasure, her golden t.h.i.g.h, Yan Qinyu, had already sent his subordinates out to find everything about the 'mysterious' woman and her legenday 'treasure. As the male lead, all of his men are elite cultivators and his range of connections are immense so he had no trouble finding information on Bai Yinmei and the incident during the Battle of the Geniuses competition.

Meanwhile Su Mei who had left the restraurant just moments ago, noticed she was being followed by someone extremely skilled. She slowly increased her speed while still looking calm and leisurely in order to not alert whoever was following her. However she had severely underestimated her follower - the moment she even slightly sped up, the man following her immediately chased after her at an extreme speed.

'What the h*ll? How is this man so fast? Why is he following me?!' the moment Su Mei realised he was no longer following her from the shadows anymore and decided to blatantly chase her down, she dived into a crowded street hoping the man would lose her. Unfortunately it didn't work and he sooned cornered her into a empty dead end.

"Who are you and why are you following me? Have I offended you before?" Su Mei asked cautiously, knowing she had no chance against the masked man - the difference in skill and powers was too great.

"No, I just needed to ask you some questions, Miss Su, about a woman named Bai Yinmei." the man stated emotionlessly.

"Bai Yinmei? Never heard of her." Su Mei responded calmly "Can you let me go now?"

"Answer truthfully and I'll let you go. Where is Bai Yinmei?" he asked again.

Rolling her eyes, Su Mei said in an annoyed tone "I don't know where she is!"

Suddenly, without even a warning, the man who was at least 10 meters away was standing right in front of her with his hands gripping her neck tightly.

"Where is she?"

"I told you I don-"

Before Su Mei could even finish her sentence, she was harshly thrown onto the floor and the man who was gripping her neck vanished after a small 'tsk' of annoyance.

After making sure the man had definitely left, Su Mei stood up and calmed down however it didn't help the dread and guilt weighing her heart down.

Xia Zhilan, the rumoured woman, was leisurely strolling around the crowded streets, sometimes stopping to gaze at the interesting trinkets being sold by street vendors.

However her appearance was very different.

Xia Zhilan was wearing an extremely flamboyant, red warrior outfit lined with gold armour and confidently walked through the crowd.

Passerbys couldn't help but move to the side from her imposing aura and stare while she walked past.

'The cultivation world is so cool' she excitedly told her system 'Especially the gemstones and crystals! They look so magical..."

'If only I had these back in Earth, I'd make a fortune from selling these!' Zhilan sighed regretfully

'Host, what are you wearing? You're attracting too much attention! Aren't you supposed to be hiding? You're going to be attacked by someone soon!'

'Don't worry about it, I can handle it. And it's too tiring to dress up and disguise myself everyday especially since I'm confident in my abilities.'

Despite the casual look on her face, Xia Zhilan's eyes were extremely bright and alert.

Suddenly she stopped in the center of the street and laughed playfully.

"You guys can come out now. I already know you're following me" Zhilan called out lightly.

The passerbys looked around curiously, wondering who the woman was talking about.

Suddenly 6 figures dressed in all black appeared out of nowhere and surrounded her.

"I didn't expect Miss Bai to be so skilled" the leader said calmly

"So who sent you? The Heavenly Pavillion Sect or Yan Qinyu?" Xia Zhilan asked casually

The spectating crowd gasped in shock when they heard Xia Zhilan casually ask about the Legendary Heavenly Pavillion Sect. Afterall, they were made up of extremely mysterious and elite cultivators.

"Who is that woman?" the crowd asked each other in hushed voices.

However the 6 men displayed shocked faces when Zhilan asked about Yan Qinyu, the Shadow King.

"How do you know our leader's name?" the leader asked cautiously

"Ah, I guessed right it is Yan Qinyu's people! I was waiting for you!" Zhilan said happily "I guess your looking for my legendary treasure right? You know to give to your future leader's wife?"

"H-How did you know about that?" one of them asked alarmedly.

"I guess we have a traitor in our group..." the leader muttered angrily under his breath.
