Ignoring Xia Zhilan's shameless comment, Elder Wang patiently explained what the competition was about.

"Ah, I see now! So what is the average cultivation rank my competitors are at?" Xia Zhilan asked

"Most of them range from peak Foundation Establishment Realm to Low Nascent Soul Realm. Of course there are some exceptions who are at mid to high Nascent Soul Realm."

"Oh.. I guess I'm only average out of the 4 schools then" Xia Zhilan said dejectedly.

"Well all your competitors are the geniuses of the century so don't be too downhearted." Elder Wang said comfortingly.

"Whatever... Anyways I have another question!" Xia Zhilan suddenly remembered to ask about the female lead, Liu Chunhua. "I heard there's a student called Liu Chunhua. She seems to be the centre of the weaker student's conversations lately. I've been wondering what has been happening"

"I'm not too sure. I haven't really been paying attention to the weak student's gossip" Elder Wang replied

"Liu Chunhua?" the other old man, Elder Hui, suddenly spoke "She's a strange one indeed... She suddenly became pretty strong although her innate talent is terrible. I'm guessing that she found some sort of heavenly treasure of some sort."

"Really? That's pretty strange..." Xia Zhilan said although she already knew all of this.

"Thank you, elders for your help today! Disciple Yimei will leave now." Xia Zhilan said whilst already being at the entrance of the building.

"I guess it's time to visit the female lead herself, Liu Chunhua!"

Xia Zhilan quickly arrived at the dorms for the weaker students using her new technique, wind walk.

This time Zhilan expected Liu Chunhua to be stunningly beautiful however she was pretty disappointed when the door opened.

Although Liu Chunhua was pretty, it was the normal type of pretty however her eyes exuded an icy indifference.

"Hi." Xia Zhilan said blankly

Confused at the random girl appearing at the door, Liu Chunhua first reaction was to quickly close the door. However before she could, the figure suddenly flashed and appeared in her room.

"My name's Bai Yimei, by the way. Sorry for the sudden disturbance" Xia Zhilan said casually whilst sitting .

"What are you doing? Why are you in my room?" Liu Chunhua said cautiously. Even with her assassin senses, she didn't know how the weird girl in front of her suddenly appeared in her room.

However what she did know was that this girl was incredibly strong.

Liu Chunhua's eyes suddenly glinted cunningly however she quickly hid it.

Xia Zhilan, of course caught the look in her eyes.

'As expected, she's probably going to try luring me into her group now!"

"Nothing. I just heard there's a new girl who's causing a lot of rumours lately. So I came to see what everyone's so worked up over first hand."

'Good! She's already curious about me" Liu Chunhua thought happily

"Well? Were you expectations satisfied?" she asked nonchalantly.

"Mm... I guess." Xia Zhilan said whilst yawning. "You are indeed somewhat interesting..."

'Well, the people that surround you certainly are...'

"Anyways, now that I've seen what the fuss was all about, I'm leaving. See ya around, Liu Chunhua!"

Ignoring Xia Zhilan's slightly bored look, Liu Chunhua smirked inwardly 'She already has a good impression of me! And I only said 5 words!'

Suddenly Xia Zhilan's figure disappeared.

A couple meters away, in the shadows, Xia Zhilan suddenly appeared.

Naturally, Xia Zhilan didn't visit the female lead just to say 'hi', she was actually checking if the almighty, Shadow King was following her. And of course, he was silently examining Zhilan whilst she was talking.

She realised that Yan Qinyu had a stange treasure which allowed him to watch Liu Chunhua's room, inside and outside.

Now that Xia Zhilan had mastered ice wings, tranquility and holy light, she decided to work on the offensive skills especially since she found out about the upcoming competition.

The only offensive skills she learn't so far was Snow Lotus Fist, Tidal Push, Roaring Thunder Fist, Thunder and Ice Sword, Ying Yang Sword, and Call of the Thunder however she hadn't mastered any of it so far as she was to focused on mastering Vanishing Shadows ,Wind Walk, Ice Wings, Tranquility, and Holy Light or cultivating her qi and body.

Thus, during the last month before the compeition, Xia Zhilan spent all her time training them.

Meanwhile on Liu Chunhua's side, she decided to go on another training adventure in the forest full of monsters.

Whilst slaying demons and monsters, she came across an extremely rare beast and it's core could provide many benefits to cultivation. However a group of people from Demon Sky Academy, one of the top four schools, were already battling it and was close to winning. Since the beast was too strong for Liu Chunhua to handle on her own, she decided to attack the Demon Sky students after they finished off the beast since they would be too tired and injured to fight back.

Just as the group of students were about to retrieve the treasures on the beast, Liu Chunhua jumped out in front of them.

"Haha, thanks for slaying this beast for me. I'll be taking it now. Scram or I'll kill you now." she said cruelly whilst laughing mockingly.

"How dare you steal this beast from us? Do you know who we are?" One of the students shouted angrily. "We're from Demon Sky Academy."

"So what?" Liu Chunhua said arrogantly "I'm from Golden Sun Academy."

Even though Liu Chunhua has already transmigrated into this world for around a year, she was extremely ignorant and didn't know that Demon Sky was also one of the four academies and is on par with Golden Sun.

"Anyways, all of you better leave now or don't blame me for killing you!" She said in an overbearing voice.

However before even giving them a chance to speak, much less run away, she used one of her many heavenly treasures and killed all of them.

After leaving the corpses, Liu Chunhua left with the dead beast that the group of students defeated.

After leaving, a single student wearing the Demon Sky uniform appeared from behind a tree, breathing heavily with a terrified expression on his face and stared at his dead friends on the floor.

The student immediately burst into tears at the sight and slowly left with their bodies.
