PS I'm Over You

Skyler watched his mommy mix the colors on her palette before focusing on the canvass in front of her. His eyes were wide as he witnessed the colors changing like magic once combined. His mother laughed and watched how his small hands mixed the paints to achieve different colors.

He insisted to be with her today since she was asleep for too long and had been busy lately. He felt that they hadn't spent enough time with each other ever since his daddy came into the picture. Ririna also felt guilty that she had neglected her son for weeks.

"I'm still your number one, right, mommy?" he suddenly asked.

Ririna was surprised by his question and she stopped and brought down her brush. She sat beside her son on the floor and helped him hold the brush the right way.

"Of course, hunny. Do you think I will forget about my little prince?"

Skyler shook his head, his hand gripping the handle of the brush tightly as he tried to make strokes on the blank canvass his mother gave to him earlier. Ever since he was young, Ririna noticed that her son was interested in her paintings and arts. Maybe he would be a fine artist too when he grows up.

"I'm still your number one?"

Ririna nodded.

"How about daddy?"

"What do you think? Should I let daddy become my number 2?"

Skyler dipped his brush on the paint before trying to make a circle on his work. He frowned not knowing how to answer his mother.

"I don't know, mommy," he said.

"Would you share your mommy to your daddy?"

For years they only had each other. Now that she married Eli, their life took a sudden change and there were adjustments. While Skyler was happy that he finally has a completed family he could call his own, there were times that he missed his mother.

Skyler stopped and looked up to his mother.

"I don't mind sharing you with daddy but if you have another baby, what will happen to me?"

Ririna stifled a laugh. Where did Skyler get these ideas?

"We aren't going to have another baby soon. Are you worried that mommy will forget about you?"

Skyler put down his brush and crawled to his mother's l.a.p. He buried his face in her c.h.e.s.t and held her tight. Ririna ran her fingers through his dark locks. Her little boy was growing up so fast, and she could only hope that she could find a solution to her problems so her little Skyler wouldn't have to suffer anymore.

"Sky is my little prince forever. Even if he grows up to be a man like his daddy. He will always be my little pumpkin." Ririna whispered to her son. She could hear his silent sobs as she rubs his back to comfort him.

"I love you, mommy," Skyler replied. His little hands fisted on her dress.

Ririna's eyes softened. Skyler would always be in her heart. He brought meaning to her lonely life. If it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have had the courage to keep going.

"I love you too, baby. Now, will you tell me what did you do with daddy when I was sleeping?" Ririna tried to lighten the mood. She didn't want her son to be upset while they were together. Skyler jerked up and grinned at Ririna. He was waiting for her to ask about it.

He earned a chuckle from his mother. Skyler surely was a talkative one. Ririna wondered how Skyler grew up to be a happy and talkative child even if Eli wasn't around these past years.

"Daddy went to our father's day event. He was so cool, mommy!"

"Ohh?" Her brow arched, waiting for her son to continue his story.

"Yes! The other kids stopped bullying me when they saw daddy and they start inviting me and Jiro to play with them."

Ririna rubbed her chin out of habit.

"That's good. I thought we needed to transfer you to another school if you weren't happy with your class."

"No! Mommy, don't! It's okay now and we have a new classmate but she's a girl."

His mother laughed at the expression he had on his face. He was very much like his father when he was irritated.

"What's wrong about being a girl? Did you fight with someone again?"

Skyler pouted and his little brows knitted in frustration.

"I didn't start a fight now, mommy. I told daddy I'm going to be a good boy so you will wake up soon." Skyler confessed.

Ririna's lips curled into a smile. Her hand was brushing away his hair away from his eyes. It seems like he needed another haircut soon. His wild locks were almost covering his eyesight.

"What about your new classmate? What's her name? Do you also play with her?"

"No. She plays with the twins. Her name is Mika and Jiro doesn't want to play with her but she's kind. She gave us some sweet buns during break time but she's always alone especially when it was time to go home. Her mommy is always late to pick her up."

Skyler leaned to his mother's embrace and laid his head on her shoulder.

"Maybe her mother is busy with work. You should treat everyone nicely. It doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl, alright?"

"Yes, mommy."

Ririna stood up from the floor with Skyler in her arms. She has called Eli earlier because she saw that Sara had input a stockholders meeting on her schedule for the weekend. It seemed she couldn't avoid meeting her father very soon. Was he really expecting that she would listen to whatever bullsh*t he has to say?

Skyler didn't need to meet a trash grandfather like him. Ririna swore that Skyler wouldn't suffer and would never feel that he wasn't loved by her or Eli. Kids deserve to be loved and cherished by their parents. They shouldn't be the one who should suffer for his or her parents' mistakes.

She helped Skyler stand on his own feet before taking one of his hand. One of her bodyguards followed them when they took the elevator and went down to the ground floor where Eli's driver was waiting for them.

He lead them on the waiting car and opened the door for the back seat for them. Since Kian's death, Eli was the one who oversaw the security for Ririna and Skyler. He would rather take the responsibility now than to let someone hurt his family again.

Erica was still in her indefinite leave and may not come back soon.

They arrived at the S&S Enterprise and was escorted to the private elevator that could only be used for company's VIP clients and the Park family. When they arrived at the floor where Eli's floor is, Skyler saw his grandfather talking to his Uncle Evan.

Skyler ran towards them and tug at his uncle's leg. Evan smiled at his nephew before lifting him up and tickled his side. The little boy burst into a fit of laughter.

"Oh, my favorite nephew is here. Do you want uncle to play with you again? I will not let you win this time!" Evan grinned while Skyler tried to stop his laughter.

"But uncle, I'm your only nephew!" Skyler answered back, "and I will never let you win! I will tell Aunt Ginny where you hid your ramen if you try to cheat again!"

"Preposterous! I'm no cheater, Sky!" Evan feigned being hurt by his nephew's accusation.

"Yes, you are!"

"No, I'm not!"

"You are!"

"No, I'm not!"

Evan left with Skyler leaving both his father and Ririna on the lobby. Gabriel watched with amus.e.m.e.nt as the banter between his son and grandson echoed within the floor. He turned his attention to Ririna.

"Eli's in a meeting with your little sister," Gabriel said with a smirk on his lips.

Ririna then realized what he meant by that. It seemed her "little sister' had paid a visit to her husband. Her father's illegitimate daughter from his other woman. Ririna was inwardly seething with anger.

The other bitch had finally shown up. Why was she meeting Eli anyway? Was the bitch trying to seduce her husband?

She walked towards Eli's office and saw Jonathan waiting for her outside Eli's door.

"Miss Cindy Zhou insisted to meet master today," he informed Ririna.

"What for?"

"I believe it is about the shares Master got before. She's trying to make a deal at the moment but Master isn't happy with her insistence and sudden visit."

"Allow me to go inside and I will put the bitch in her right place."

"But Ririna…"

Ririna stared at him a warning sternly.

"I am his wife. Any woman who dares to lay a finger to my man shall suffer my wrath."
