PS I'm Over You

Rion refused to pay attention to what is Sara is talking about. He had enough of her dragging him to tortures about BL and her comic p.o.r.ns. While he is grateful that she has followed his request not to bring up the issue about what happened to the BL convention two weeks ago, he is still pissed that Sara had thought he is a gay.

'What made her think that he is interested in males?' he thought.

When they arrived at the convention center, Sara found out that her partner is sick and couldn't make it. She was left alone to manage the booth where they sold doujinshi and BL magazines. She then begged like a child crying to Rion to help her during the event. Rion was left cursing himself because he couldn't deny Sara's request and reprimanded her for dragging him to the event.

Rion ended up manning her booth and selling perverted BL magazines to con-goers. It was really a disastrous and brain damaging experience for him. He had never thought that even old men had a fetish for homos.e.x.u.a.l books and comics. One even asked him if he's gay and asked him if he could recommend some good books to him.

Whenever he thought about it, he couldn't help but feel that he's about to puke. No. He isn't against people who like and in a homos.e.x.u.a.l relationship. He respects them as long as they wouldn't do something bad against him. It was all Sara's fault that he was drag and left to suffer within the BL convention. That woman even dared him to set him up on a date with another man!

Now, he is giving her a cold shoulder and tried to block off all her attempts to rectify her mistake. He only talks to her when it is work-related. After the working hours, he makes sure that he leaves the office first before signing out from his laptop.

The exhibit on the local gallery was successful even though Ririna wasn't able to attend the event. Rion has canceled his flight back at home to manage Ririna's business while she's still in a coma. Hopefully, soon she would wake up since it's hard for him to talk with clients asking for commissions for portraits and sculptures.

Rion turned his eyes to the woman who was sitting on Ririna's chair and mumbling to herself. She looks bored, her arms both slumped into the desk while playing with bubble wraps.

'What is she up to now?' he wondered.

"What are you doing?" Rion finally asked.

"I'm bored. I'm popping these bubble wraps." Sara sighed.

Rion rolled his eyes. This woman is so childish. She's already twenty-three and still acts like a child most of the time. At least, Ririna could tolerate her tardiness and childish antics. It isn't surprising that her ex-boyfriend sought another woman.

"Why don't you go home instead?" Rion suggested.

"No, it's boring at home. Ginny already moved in with Evan after they registered their marriage. I will die from boredom, Rion." Sara w.h.i.n.ed.

"So? Then go to sleep or do something else."

"No, I rather stay here. Why do you want me to leave? Are you still upset that I set you up? Lool. I already said sorry. I thought you were gay when that handsome dude flirted with you at the event." Sara took some ch.i.p.s from her snacks and popped it in her mouth.

Rion glared at Sara. He didn't need her to remind him of that. He even ended up changing his phone number because the guy wouldn't leave him alone and keep calling his phone nonstop. Why can't this woman do something good for him? Like leave him alone and spare him from her BL fetishes and perverted comics.

"I will appreciate if you stop messing with my life. I wouldn't like it to end up like yours, and for the last time I'm not interested in men," he replied.

Sara who was busy munching on her snack stopped and looked at him with confusion. What is that suppose to mean? She isn't trying to sabotage his life. She just assumed wrongly and tried to set him up to someone she thought he is interested with.

"You don't have to rub it my face that I failed in my recent relationship," she replied with a fallen expression in her face. She couldn't blame Rion for thinking like that. There are still times that she keeps asking herself what had she done wrong? Why did her boyfriend cheat on her? She had loved him with all her heart for the past three years and yet she was left broken.

"I'm not interested in talking about your ex-boyfriend." Rion replied as he stacks up his files on his desk before turning off his laptop. He had enough of work today and since the exhibit is already ended, he got a lot of free time to use.

"Are you free today?" Sara asked him and that made Rion stop in his tracks.

"What do you want now? I swear if you drag me into another BL related place or tried to set me up, I will kill you." Rion threatened her, his eyes sharpening at the woman in front of him.

Sara lifted both of her arms in defense. She didn't want to argue with him anymore but she's really bored and because she knew that Rion is free on the next few hours, she wanted to invite him to hang out.

"Hey calm down. I won't do anything you wouldn't like." Sara said, "It's just that it's my birthday today but it seems everyone is so busy with their own lives that they forgot about it." she added sadly.

Rion looked at her and sighed. He could understand her situation. Since his younger sister died, he never celebrated his birthday. On the past years, Ririna and Skyler were the only ones who still remembered his birthday and still sent him gifts and cards.

"Okay but if you do something unnecessary…"

"I get it. I get it. Nohomo. Nohomo. Stop threatening me okay?"

Rion and Sara left the office building and used Rion's car to accompany her on her shopping. Sara is considering to cook something special dinner for tonight. She doesn't have many friends but she's grateful that at least Rion is staying with her today or else she doesn't have any idea how to spend her special day. She's turning twenty-four today and she couldn't wait to see how's her new year will be.

They arrived at the local supermarket and Sara took a cart to start shopping. As they turned the corner to find some supplies for her recipe, they saw someone who looks familiar.
