Chapter 77 - Over Powered to the Extreme!

The guard was uniformed in a somewhat similar outfit as an officer, but the color was much darker on the blue side. He was a middle-aged man with a full beard and calm soothing eyes.

"Oh, I'm here on an invitation. I have this card to prove that I'm a guest to this place." Gan flashed his card and held it in place for the man to see.

"Oh, let me see." The man cautiously walk closer to Gan and grabbed to card to have a look.

"Indeed, this is the real deal." The guard nodded. He was more cautious than usual with what was going on around the city.

"Thank you, sir." The man called it in with his walky-talky—stating that a man would be entering the property as a 'guest'.

The gates were opened and Gan was let through.

'Very nice! These guys must be loaded, it even has its own mini forest, or should I say habitat?' Gan looked around the property in amazement as he walked on.

Vrooom!

Suddenly, another guard drove over in what appeared to be some sort of golf cart.

"Hop on, lad." The guard grinned and signaled Gan to get on.

"Yeah." Gan quickly got on and sat in the backseat before the golf cart drove off towards the residence.

"I haven't seen your face around here before, are you new in town?" The guard had taken in many guests and Gan wasn't someone he'd seen before.

He wasn't mean or overly cautious because he could tell Gan was still a teen. However, if he knew Gan's real identity, he would probably be shocked out of his mind.

"I am new here, I met Conway back in Viridian forest when he was out with his daughter." Gan didn't feel a need to act reserve and told him how it came to be.

"Now that makes sense. They're trying to teach the young miss how to catch Pokemon and how to be responsible. The best place for that is Viridian forest, at least the safe area where they're being monitored constantly."

It completely made sense to the guard now.

"By the way, my name is Mike, what about you, young fella?"

"My name is Gan, nice to officially meet you, Mike." The two talked until they reached the residence. Mike found out that Gan had Gym Badge, and couldn't help but feel some reverence for the boy.

Oh, how good it was to be young!

Once they stopped in front of the mansion gates, they were greeted by a butler. He was slender and tall, he must have stood around 6'2 to 6'3!

"Alright, Gan, you have a good time." Mike saluted and drove off. .

"I'll try." Gan smiled and said.

"You must be the guest with the golden card. My name is Robert Bennings, I am the head butler of this fine establishment." Robert adjusted his glasses and said.

"Well, nice to meet you, Robert. My name is Gan." The butler's tone was a bit arrogant, or was it pride? Gan couldn't really tell, nor did he care.

"Hmm...you're a young man, what would you have to talk to the master of this house about?" Gan was simply a teen, what conversation of interest could he spark with an older man?

"We connected on a spiritual level back then." Gan made up something off the top of his head to say.

"Connected spiritually?" Robert glared at Gan—who was he fooling? Robert thought for a moment and images began to pop up in his mind. Was this young man after the young miss? Trying to get on her good side and later marry her to seize the estate and everything with it!

Thinking of this, Robert's expression darkened.

If Gan knew he was thinking of this—he would be amazed at how wild this butler's imagination was, and how he even came to such a conclusion.

"Kid, don't get ahead of yourself," Robert was now worried, but he had no way of turning Gan away due to his card ranking.

"What are you talking about?" Gan was confused. Was it because he believed him to be in and over his head to dare affiliate himself with this family.

"Hmph! It doesn't matter, right this way. Don't do anything out of line, I've got my eye on you." Robert harrumphed and turned to walk towards the huge mansion.

Gan shrugged and followed, he couldn't bother to ponder on what this butler was talking about. He gaze upward towards the mansion, he simply couldn't determine how much square footage it had to be.

Once Gan was closer to the mansion, he could see 2 water fountains on each side. Each water fountain had the same Pokemon shooting water out of its mouth.

The Pokemon used was a Gyarados.

'Country bumpkin.' Robert saw Gan's amazed expression from his peripheral vision and his eyes flashed with disdain.

Robert opened the doors to the mansion and they both walked inside. At this time, Conway's wife happened to be passing by.

She merely gave Robert a nod, but when she saw Gan she was stunned for a second.

"Oh my, oh my, you came to visit us faster than what I was expecting." This woman's name, if Gan remembered was called Natalie.

"Yes, I happened to be in the city and wasn't allowed to leave. So, I was like, hey, why don't I go visit that couple from Viridian forest." Gan said jokingly.

"Ah, yeah, it's crazy what's going on in the city right now. I believe it has something to do with that Team Rocket from the bounty picture." Natalie laughed.

"What was your name again? Ian, right?" Natalie tapped her chin with her index finger and tried to remember.

"It's Gan."

"Ah, right, sorry, it was Gan." Natalie nodded before continuing. "We're having lunch soon, why don't you join us later. I'm sure Allura would be happy to see that you have come to visit us so soon."

Hearing this, Robert's face twitched.

"Sure, thank you for the hospitality." Gan completely agreed, he had nothing better to do outside for now anyway.

"Perfect! I haven't cooked in a while, and you so happen to appear on a day where I will be making lunch." Natalie smiled and continued. "Robert, take Gan to the guest house he'll be staying in for the time being."

"Y-yes miss!" Several maids in the area sneered at Robert, they had been monitoring the situation and knew what he was like.

"This way, sir!" Robert hurriedly said. His tone was different from earlier—when it was just Gan and himself.

"Don't get too comfortable, after lunch, it's best for you to leave this property." Robert wanted Gan to leave already, this was especially so once he found out that there was some type of relationship between Gan and the young miss of the house.

Gan opened to door and walked inside the house before turning to Robert with a smile. He said nothing and slammed the door right in his face!

"You!" Robert's body shook, Gan had completely ignored his 'advise'! Robert actually just turned 19 years old this year, so he was quite young himself.

"Just you wait you little bastard, I'll see what you can do later." Robert clenched his fist and walked off.

Gan could hear Robert complaining at the door and only chuckled at his anger.

"Trying to act forceful and threaten me? Good luck with that!" Gan scoffed and went over to the couch to take a seat. The living room had some really nice black marbled tiled floors, it was truly a luxurious guest house.

'I can't believe someone drew me in such detail, it had to have been one of those 3 spoiled kids.' Gan took out a bounty poster he had pulled off a wall back in Viridian city, which happened to be him.

'They even drew the Pokemon I had used against them, and they made me and my Pokemon look so evil.' Gan was flattered seeing this picture, they had even nicknamed him Ghost Hands.

Feeling speechless, Gan stored the poster away.

'While I'm here, I may as check all the Pokemon I manage to steal from Oak's lab.'

Gan pulled out 5 random Pokeballs from the stolen goods. However, he summoned Kadabra before summoning any of these random Pokemon. These Pokemon would be added to his Pokedex as caught once they were revealed to Gan.

Kadabra nodded, as it already knew what Gan wanted to do.

"Let's see." Gan chose a random Pokeball and tossed it.

With dim white light, the Pokemon's figure was revealed.

Gan stared at the little blonde, she kept looking back and forth in confusion. Smoochum finally turned around and saw Gan.

Everything was silent for a while, she only stared at Gan and he stared right back at her.

"Smoo..." She tilted her little head in confusion, as she didn't understand what was going on.

Gan only smiled before recalling the little Pokemon girl.

"Confused child. I was like that at one point, so I'm no stranger to it." Kadabra said in an understanding tone.

'You're still technically a child.' Gan thought.

Gan placed Smoochum's Pokeball on the table before tossing another Pokeball.

"Oh..." Gan's eyes widen, this was a good one. He wasn't saying Smoochum was bad, but it didn't get a second evolution like Magmar and Elekid.

Elekid heard Gan's voice and turned around immediately. Kadabra narrowed his eyes, it could sense Elekid's hostility right away.

"Kid!" Once Elekid caught sight of Gan, it started rotating its little arms around rapidly as they began to generate electricity!

"Uh, oh! Kadabra, take him down!" Gan's expression changed before he quickly ordered Kadabra against Elekid. Some Pokemon wouldn't exactly be corporative after being summoned.

Kadabra's eyes flashed with blue light, then Elekid was thrown to the ground face first.

"Ele..." Elekid cried out, but it was levitated up from the floor before being slammed into the marble floors again, face first.

After shaking Elekid up with these attacks, Gan quickly recalled the little guy.

"That guy has a temper on him, but he's worth training up in the future." Gan sighed in relief before reaching for another Pokeball.

"Please let it be something amazing!" Gan hoped it was something amazing this time, it wasn't like the other pokemon were bad but they weren't amazing.

Gan tossed another Pokeball with hope.

"Oh, my gosh!" Gan was shocked and overjoyed upon seeing the Pokemon that had appeared.

"Gasp!!" Gan gasped in complete shock as felt his knees grow weak! There was only one way to describe this Pokemon.
