Blake's attention was now on the third test, Qi natures. There was a line of people who were participating in the third test.

A boy walked forward to a table that had a white rock at the top of it, there was an Elder sitting on a chair near it. This situation was very similar to the first test, except that the rock was a different one and there was only one table.

Once someone puts their hands on the rock, it glows in different colors. According to Little Xun, the color represents the Qi nature of the person. He also gave an explanation of how Qi natures work.

A person can have Fire, Earth, Lightning, Wind or Water as their Qi natures. There was also a considerable amount of people with neutral Qi natures.

It's normally impossible to see one nature unless with the use of a special eye technique or the use of a rock like this, that was made from a special ore that reacted on a person Qi nature.

Being born with a Qi nature gives you increased power and learning speed on techniques of the same element. It also limited you in a way, a person with Fire as their Qi nature can not use Water-related techniques, and even if they can somehow use it, the power would be very weak.

People with neutral Qi could choose their own path, but they received no boost in the power of their techniques.

Qi nature could also change with time, the more one practices a technique the more their Qi will change to that the element the technique uses.

Scarlet Flame sect uses mainly fire techniques, people with Fire Qi natures were preferred. Anyone with water as their nature is turned away, unless they have immense talent.

It was a sad sight, the unlucky fellows who had water as their nature were immediately disqualified after passing all the other test with a lot of hard work.

Blake doesn't know her own nature, but for obvious reasons, she guessed it was Fire. It was Flannery's body, after all, she would be surprised if it was any other nature.

The test came to an end 45 minutes later, the Pokedex had a clock, so she was sure of it. The people who failed were already on their way home, only those who passed were here.

They were all being led to their accommodations by servants, the especially talented ones were in a separate group with an Elder leading them, these were going to become inner disciples straight away.

Fang Qing got a wooden tablet from his space ring, the number '68' was on it.

"That's the number of your cavern. Just look above the entrance of them to see it."

"Thanks."

'Cavern, huh? Well, I slept on a bed hard as the ground for months anyway.' Blake had a slightly helpless expression. Fang Qing frowned.

Fang Qing also got a white rock from his space ring and gave it to Blake. It was one of the rocks they used to test Qi natures earlier.

"Thanks, are these expensive?" Blake was already wondering how she was going to see her own Qi nature.

Blake was inside her cave, she finally found the number 68 after looking around for some time.

There was nothing much inside, only a cheap bed, and a table and chair made of ordinary wood. She laid on the bed and sighed out of exhaustion.

She had her reasons to refuse Fang Qing offer, the one she said to him the truth but isn't all of it.

She needed a space of her own because of her Pokemon, she also liked more having a place of her own. The other reason....Well.... let's just say that living with a guy sounded gay.

She took the white rock out of her space ring, if she remembers it right, she just needs to inject Qi into it...

As soon she began to put the small amount of Qi she had into the rock, the color of it changed incredibly fast. It looked red in the center and orange in the outer parts, she also began to feel heat coming from it.

"Ouch." It fell on the ground as Blake released it as it burned her hand. She never saw such an intense reaction from this thing....
