Black Bear Forest waterfall, one week after the stick incident. A blue and black dog with red eyes was staring at a red haired girl, who was sitting cross legged on a rock. The dog was holding stones in his hands, this scene was oddly familiar.

The dog threw one of the rocks at the girl.

"Ouch." Said the girl in a hushed voice as it hit her. The rock wasn't thrown strongly but a rock still hurts.

The dog threw another one, this time, the girl who had her eyes seemingly closed, tried to dodge it. But when she did that, the rock was already too near her to avoid it. She was hit again, and cried out in pain very weakly, like she was purposefully suppressing her cries of pain.

The dog saw that scene and his action of throwing the third stone paused, he seemed to be hesitating about something. But as he gazed into the girl back, he seemed to remember something, his eyes became determined and he threw the third stone.

The girl, who was hit by all the stones until now, suddenly moved her head out of the way!

Blake opened his eyes, his face was a mixture of surprise and happiness. He really did it, after two whole weeks of meditating and getting hit by sticks and stones, he actually sensed something and avoided it! Just when he was beginning to doubt if he actually talent for Aura, he actually did it. He almost cried on the spot.

"Riolu, come here!" Blake ran to Riolu side and hugged him, lifting him in the air. Both were smiling, their efforts weren't in vain.

After they both calmed down, Blake remembered the other reason they were in this waterfall.

"Riolu, let's test that. I want to see how strong it is."

"Riolu!!"

Riolu was now Lv 16 and he achieved a bottleneck, the EXP they get from the animals here was not worth the trouble anymore, so they had to change forests again. Even then, Blake wanted to stay here for a while longer, since this place was good for him and Riolu to train.

Leveling up to 16, Riolu learned a new move, Force Palm.

The target is attacked with a shock wave. This may also leave the target with paralysis.

-30% Chance to paralyze the target.

Riolu stood in front of a tree into a fighting stance. He pulls back of his hands and changes it to a open palm, and a small, white ball of light began to appear in his paw. Riolu thrusts his palm forward at the tree.

*BOOM*

A a white beam of light with Riolu paw as it's source goes trough the tree, a ring like the ones you see in explosions also dispersed from Riolu palm. As the light died down, a huge hole was left on the tree, and it fell down to the side, incapable of supporting it's weight with a broken bark.

Blake was somewhat shocked seeing this scene. Force Palm was only 60 in power, and Aura Sphere was 80, so it was supposed to be weaker, but it caused more damage than when they tested Aura Sphere. Aura Sphere had also left a hole on a tree, but it wasn't huge enough to make it fall down instantly.

"Well I guess I should have expected that since you are of Brave nature..." Riolu nature gave him 10% more attack and 10% less speed, and Force Palm was a physical move, unlike Aura Sphere which used the special attack stat.

This is the first physical fighting type move ever Riolu got, Vacuum Wave and Aura Sphere were both not physical moves, incapable of unleashing Riolu true potential from his nature. That's why Force Palm was stronger for Riolu.

Blake patted Riolu head and smiled proudly, Riolu was all smiles like always, enjoying Blake patting.

Suddenly, to Blake surprise, Riolu smile vanished and he started to run into a direction.

"Riolu?! What the hell happened?" Riolu stopped running for a second and made a "come" sign with his hands, obviously wanting Blake to follow him. Left with no choice, Blake followed him.

As they ran more and more, Blake suddenly realized where they were heading.

"Riolu, why are you running to the depths of the forest? This is dangerous! Go back!" Blake was very worried. The depths is where the strongest beasts of this forest lived, and even the current Riolu had a huge chance of not being a match for them.

It was like fighting the alpha wolf in Green Bark Forest, they could seriously have died in that fight. Blake could not understand why Riolu would want to go there in such a hurry.

Riolu suddenly stopped and lowered himself in a bush nearby, like he was trying to hide. Blake didn't understand why Riolu would do that, but he did the same and spoke very quietly to him as he kneeled and asked Riolu quietly.

"Why did you came here?"

Riolu got a bush out of the way of their vision and pointed forward. As Blake followed the direction of his finger, his eyes opened wide in surprise.

A HUGE black bear was staring at two people, both of them were man and very injured and one of them was between the bear and the other, like he wanted to protect him. Blake was seriously shocked.

'Isn't that a black bear...?' It was the overlord of this forest, the Black Bear.
