Chapter 11 - Start Of The Aura Training

A week later.

Blake and Riolu were in Black Bear Forest again, they didn't slack off a single day. Riolu was facing a ape, the same one they had so much trouble to deal with a week before.

*OOK OOK OOK OOK*

Riolu was easily avoiding the monkey punches, like he had seen the future. He would throw a punch or other when avoiding, his face was very calm, like he was playing with it.

"HYAAAA!!" Suddenly, a red haired girl clad in a leather armor, a shield in her back and armed with a sword ran to the monkey back, screaming for no real reason.

She shoved the sword on the ape back, it's face contorted in pain. It turned his back to Riolu and tried to punch Blake, who dodged it by rolling. Thankfully, the ape was injured so the blow was way slower than normal, or else Blake wouldn't be able to dodge it.

Riolu saw the monkey turning his back as a chance, and put his hands into a position like he was holding a invisible ball(Kamehameha pose). A glowing light blue sphere suddenly appeared in his hands, it was a small at first but it quickly grew to the size of a small soccer ball. He threw it at the monkey who just turned his back to see what Riolu was doing.

[Aura Sphere]

The user lets loose a blast of aura power from deep within its body at the target. This attack never misses.

Power 80

The sphere shot out like a bullet towards the ape head, who couldn't even react on time. It's head was blown up, brain matter scattering everywhere. Blake let out a sigh of relief.

"Good job." Blake patted Riolu like usual.

He bought himself a leather armor, a sword in the place of the dagger and a shield. Even though it was pretty much basic gear, it still cost a LOT of money for him. The armor even though it only covered the c.h.e.s.t, was a silver coin and twenty copper coins. The sword was a silver coin, only the shield wasn't so expensive.

Blake didn't think he would find shields here since he never saw any east asian shield, but to his surprise, he actually found one. It was cheap since no one wanted to buy it, around thirty copper coins. By the way a silver coins was worth a hundred coppers coins.

His purpose in buying all this stuff is to get some battle experience, he wouldn't fight directly like Riolu, but he would help out from time to time like he did earlier. Even then, he would still get hurt sometimes, so he had less potions now.

Riolu also learned Aura Sphere, a move that he wasn't supposed to learn at his current level. Riolu was now Lv 15, Aura Sphere would only be possible to learn if he evolved, or at Lv 45. But thanks to his training in Aura, he not only learned this powerful offensive move earlier, he also had improved in sensing enemy blows.

Aura Sphere was a special move, in the game moves that had 100% to hit existed, but if the pokemon accuracy dropped or if the enemy evasiveness rose, you could miss them. Aura Sphere was impossible to dodge, no matter how big your enemy evasiveness was. The same applied in real life by what Blake saw, but you could at least block it.

"Let's go, we have already delayed that long enough."

"Riolu!"

Both headed to the direction of the waterfall, their intentions unknown. Once they reached there, Blake sat at a rock.

"Riolu, I know you don't want to do this, but this is necessary." Blake stared at Riolu, his gaze was determined.

"Riolu..." Riolu had a hesitant look. He didn't seem to want to do it.

"Riolu, I know you don't want to hurt me, but if we don't do this now, I may end up dead in the future." Blake put his hands onto Riolu shoulder.

"Remember that day with the alpha wolf? It's now your turn to trust me." Blake smiled.

Riolu clenched his fist and nodded. He picked up a stick on the ground, and stared at Blake, who sat cross legged at a rock and closed his eyes, with newfound determination. This was Blake idea at Aura training, he was going to train it with Riolu like how they train observation Haki.

"Riolu, remember to don't stop until you think it's enough, no matter what I say."

"Riolu." Riolu nodded.

Blake closed his eyes and tried to sense the incoming blow. Riolu lifted the stick in the air and...

"OUCH..."

"Wait, That hurt's more than I thou- OUUCH"

"RIOLU STO- OUUUUCH"

The screams of a young girl resounded trough the forest, any passerby might have a misunderstanding. Blake seriously regretted ordering Riolu to not stop.
