Not Like In The Movies

When the driver saw Li Jing walking towards the car,the latter walked towards him and opened the backseat for him.

When Li Jing was already settled on the backseat,the driver closed the car's door and turned to the driver's seat. He then looked at Li Jing on the rearview mirror.

"Where do you wanna go now,Master?"

"Let's go to Zhen Zhu's place first before going back the office," he answered.

The driver nodded and drove the car away.

Li Jing was pondering if he'll terminate Huang Jin immediately or let him suffer a bit. Pan Er escaped by hanging herself before he could do anything to her. He won't let the same mistake repeat itself again. Playing with him would be a lot more fun. But Fei Shuang wouldn't like the idea at all. He'll have to ask her permission first.

"Huhh...." He felt depressed that he couldn't help but sigh.

He just don't want anything bad to happen to her again. For now,all he want's to be with her alone.

"Master,don't you think Nasagaki would callHuang Jin's mother?" His driver asked him while waiting for the red light to turn green.

He looked at him and responded, "I doubt he wouldn't. Heh,let's not talk about him for now. Stop at a flower shop nearby."

The driver nodded, "Yes,Master."

'Would Fei Shuang prefer roses or tulips?' Li Jing thought as he stared at the clear blue sky from the tinted window of his car. And idea popped in his mind.

"Blue..." He couldn't help but mutter.

-Zhen Zhu's apartment-

Fei Shuang and Zhen Zhu were in the living room, sitting on a sofa watching TV when the door bell rang.

DING DONG.

DING DONG.

"I think it's the pizza guy." Fei Shuang's eyes lit as she looked at the door, c.a.r.e.s.sing her rabbit's smooth fur.

"I'll open the door for him." Zhen Zhu immediately rose to the door.

"Welcome,Mr handsome."

"Thank you,Miss gorgeous."

Fei Shuang's head shot up on Li Jing who entered the apartment holding a bunch of blue flowers. He, an upstart, is quite normal compared with other rich people.

Although he's a billionaire, Li Jing remains simple and honest. He was well dressed, but not in an extravagant way.

"Why the long face?" He couldn't help but ask Fei Shuang after seeing her face.

"You said you'll be here in 30 minutes. The show's already over." Fei Shuang pouted as she looked away. Li Jing scratches the back of his head as he walked up to her.

"I'm sorry,i got carried away at the flower shop. Here~ For you." Fei Shuang looked at the flowers which turned out to be roses coloured in blue. Zhen Zhu giggled as she went to the kitchen to get Li Jing something to drink.

"Come on,my hands are getting sour." Fei Shuang gave him an eye before she accepted it.

"You liar. By the way,thanks." Fei Shuang smiled a little and offered him to sit beside her.

"It's a great p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. I'm here now,what was it you wanted to tell me?" Fei Shuang furrowed her eyebrows.

"Are you so eager to leave? You just arrived!" Li Jing gave her a dashing smile as he looked at her once more.

"Sorry,I didn't mean for it to sound that way." He replied."I can see that you're getting better along with the rabbit I gave to you." He stroke the head of the rabbit on her l.a.p,trying to change the topic.

"Yes i am. I actually.....ah, never mind. I just wanted to see you and watch Bake-off show together. I know that you're too busy to come. I'm sorry for acting like a child earlier."

Li Jing shook his head, "Don't be,I'm the one to be sorry." Fei Shuang smiled a bright smile. Why did she hate him in the first place?

Before she could respond, Zhen Zhu returned with a tray and a cup of black coffee on it.

"What were you too chatting about?" She asked Fei Shuang who couldn't wipe the smile off her face.

"Nothing much." Li Jing commented.

The three passed some time with some basic chitchat, but soon enough, they became bored.

Fei Shuang glanced at the window. She thought about the parade of blossoms in Beihai park. Yulan magnolia and Chinese flowering apple must be blooming in cl.u.s.ters, decorating the ancestral park with diverse colors. She wanted to go see it herself.

She immediately voiced her thoughts out, "Guys,how about we go out to Beihai park?"

"But—" Zhen Zhu was cut off by Li Jing.

"That would be a great idea. I'll drive."

He knew what Zhen Zhu wanted to say. She feared of her friends safety. But she should worry not,he's here for them.

"Angel and snow are coming along too."

A couple of hours went by, and Huang Jin opened his eyes a little . He didn't particularly remember what happened after that but he found himself lying down on his bed in his stepfather's mansion. But how did he get there? As far as he could recall, he was in his apartment with Nasagaki and that tall man. He couldn't find anyone of them but could feel a cold gaze staring at him. Tracing the source of the cold stare,he spotted his mother sitting on a couch not far away from him.

He sat up,suddenly wide awake. "Mom.." He called.

"Are you happy now,Huang Jin?!! Was that how i raised you?" Yang Mi cried. "How could you do that to Fei Shuang and why?" Huang Jin paled.

Yang Mi was hurt. She never had the courage to face Fei Shaung again ever since she visited her at the hospital and saw the sense of numbness in her eyes. The poor girl is going through trauma right now!

"Mom,it's not what you're thiking—"

"SHUT UP!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE? FEI SHUANG WAS ALMOST R.A.P.ED BY YOU!!!" Huang jin fell silent.
