Not Like In The Movies

A week ago..

There was refigerator in the right corner of the room.Next to the refrigerator were the stove and oven. On the other side of the oven was the sink and next to the sink was the towel rack. The disk rack was on the counter to the right of the window and beneath the shelves.On the counter beneath the window were jars of sugar,flour and tea.In the middle of the kitchen was the table with four chairs.The lighting fixture was above the table and beneath the lighting fixture was a vase with flowers.

Pan Er was in the kitchen that afternoon in her small upstairs apartment when her phone rang. She stopped mopping the floors and quickly raced to the living room to get her phone. The call almost cut when she picked the call from an unknown number.

"Hello partner." The caller,which turned out to be a man spoke in a mob boss voice. Wait,she knew that particular voice. It belonged to none other than one of her once favorite clients. How did he get her new number?

"I'm not your partner." Pan Er rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Oh really? It took me a while to get your new number..." The man snorted harshly.

"I told you plenty of times that i'm not into that business anymore." Pan Er reminded him in annoyance.

"I don't mind, help me." The man said ferociously.

"I'm sorry but I can't help y—"

"What would you do if people find out about your dirty work eh? Your sister Pan Hong has grown into a beautiful y—" before he could finish his sentence, Pan Er interrupted him, "You are half a little bastard! Don't even come near her! " Pan Er roared in anger.

"Calm down," The man laughed and then continued, "would you help me?"

"Are you threatening or blackmailing me now?" Pan Er asked,eyes wide.

"Blackmailing..threatening, however you see it." The man replied with an evil laugh.

"Tell me what you want." Pan Er said, shaking her head.

"(Well it is like this...)"

10 minutes later.

"....you keep an eye on her."

Before Pan Er could say a thing, she just heard the phone call end. She lowered her phone to the chair, sat down and cried.

When she was in THAT world,she feared only one person,Huang Jin. (T/N: Forgot about him? kindly recheck chapter 1)

He never told her who he actually was but she always had a hunch that he wasn't someone to mess with. Their last business didn't end well and she repaid him and even blocked his number but,the way he spoke on the phone earlier got her really scared.

He clearly threatened to hurt her sister if she didn't do as he said,knowing that her 16 year old sister meant more than anything in the world to her. She was the only family she had left after their father abandoned them. She didn't mind being exposed for what she'd done and would find a way to buy herself out but her sister mattered the most. She must follow Huang Jin's instructions.

From that day onwards, Pan Er kept an eye on Fei Shuang's activities and informed him all the time.

Present day.

Pan Er was in a taxi and was passing by in district T when she spot Fei Shuang coming out of the shopping mall, thanks to her good eyesight. She quickly sends a message to Huang Jin about her location and that now was his chance.

  As Fei Shuang received a text message from Zhen Zhu that she needed to head home soon, she maneuvered her wheelchair & exited the department store and left the shopping mall. She had a fun time observing the customers in the shopping mall and would definitely return again to visit.

Just as she was about to call for Didi,a white cab dropped by her. (T/N: Didi-chinese uber).

The glass slide down and a familiar voice could be heard. "Miss Lee, what a surprise."

"Uh-huh." Fei Shuang rolled her eyes in annoyance when she saw Pan Er smiling in front of her. She really didn't like the woman that much.

"Want a ride,the taxi driver could drop you off." Pan Er offered with a smile.

Trying to find a taxi when Pan Er drops by her & offered her a ride, and she was like, "Yeah,thank you so much!"

Pan Er helped her get in the rear seat and put her wheelchair in the booth.

BLAM!

Pan Er said, "Let's drop you off first," and informed the taxi driver of Zhen Zhu's address.

While they were chatting about girly stuffs.

they heard the car stop. The taxi man told them he had to relieve himself and that it was an emergency. He looked so pitiful that Fei Shuag felt sorry for him. She could relate to his situation.

The two women nodded and Pan Er gave him the permission.

He then parked the car and walked across to the filling station that he spotted.

About a minute after he left, Pan Er was on her phone when Fei Shuang heard a screeching sound of a van from behind. It was zooming fast.

Before she could react, two men wearing hoodies came out from the van, walked over and opened the door by her side.

Fei Shuang was about to speak when the man in the front brought out a gun and pointed it to her head. "Say another word and I'll blow your brains out." He said, looking straight at her. His face was covered with a mask but his eyes were serious.

Fei Shuang was left speechless and Pan Er started to panic. He lowered his gun a bit and said, "Cooperate with us and you won't be hurt"

The two women where so shocked that it took them a few seconds to snap back to reality. Fei Shuang felt so numb as she was picked up in a sudden manner and was forced into the van by two men.

She wanted to shout but knew they'd do something bad to her. She was covered with a cloth on her mouth and and she felt so weak. Fei Shuang tried to struggle but the chlorofoam was too intense and seemed to seep into her nostrils and mouth. It made her awfully drowsy. It was already taking reaction on her nerves and her brain. She fell to a deep sleep after smelling the chluorofoam from the cloth. All she could felt was the van moving fast forward and a tight grab from one of the kidnappers in the van.
