Not Like In The Movies

And in a blink of an eye,two days have passed. Fei Shuang had just finished her therapy session and was on her way to escort ZhenZhu to the airport for Big Jiu's wedding. What confused her the most was ZhenZhu not showing any sign of sadness nor anything. She didn't scold her for sleeping late nor did she ask her to help pack up her things. She's been calm the whole morning and even made her wear the same pink outfit as her own making her even more confused. Just what is this silly woman up to?

Fei Shuang was brought back to her senses when she realized the car did not stop at the airport,but rather at an unknown house in an area she'd never seen.

"Hey girlfriend,why are we here?" Seeing ZhenZhu already outside standing with an ordinary wheelchair to help her get out,Fei Shuang was suddenly worried. Could it be one of the ladies playing a prank on her? Or is it one of her tricks? Which one is it?

"No..nothing just follow me,you'll see for yourself." ZhenZhu shook her head as she stretched her hand,waiting for Fei Shuang to give her permission to help her sit. She didn't want to spoil their plan.

"...okay,i'll do as you say." Fei Shuang didn't know why,but she still let ZhenZhu push her to the entrance of the house. She couldn't be on her powered wheelchair because of it's difficulty to transport. She looked quite worried as she held Angel very close to her as they approached the house.

What's wrong,why is it so quiet and so bright?

Fei Shuang thought as she gazed through the window. The moment ZhenZhu pressed the door bell, the door swayed opened and all the people inside suddenly jumped out and yelled, "SURPRISE!!" Fei Shuang was shocked deer in highlights. All she could do was cover her mouth as her eyes widened in disbelief.

What is all of this,is today her birthday or something?

Fei Shuang was shocked silly when a woman with a short colored dress adored by flowers welcomed her with a cute smile and rosey red cheek. She even had a tiara on her head. Clearly looking at her facial features,that person was no other than Feng Jiu. Watching carefully,the rest were all familiar too,it was the ladies gang, Feng Jiu's mother & grandma and a few unknown faces too.

As she entered the house,something struck at her mind. Wait,the decorations looked like a lady-like tea party with flower bars,pink candles,a table full of gifts,sugary pastries and pink balloons arcs.Now everything made sense from that point on. The day is november 23 and thinking of it,it was a special day for someone. The calmness of ZhenZhu even after knowing she's traveling,the pink matching outfit like everyone else in the room and Feng Jiu wearing a tiara on her head.. All the confusion finally made sense because it was all for pointing to one thing, Feng Jiu's BRIDAL SHOWER.

Seeing Fei Shuang froze on the spot, Feng Jiu spoke on everyone's behalf. "I'm sorry for not keeping my promise, i know that it was a very hard decision you made and i thought it would be nice if you could at least be there for my bridal shower. Please don't be mad,i didn't cancel this event on purpose, Tian Yi made the decision. But don't worry,the spa,hen party and the wedding will all take place as planned in Singapore." Feng Jiu explained with a tinge of sadness from her voice. All she ever wanted was for Fei Shuang to be part of her wedding and nothing else. Why is it so hard for her to see that?

Fei Shuang glanced at Feng Jiu for a brief moment as the words sunk in.

Well,that was something nice to hear. Getting her brain messed up just to attend her friends bridal shower wasn't the best feeling, but rather the greatest. She didn't expect any of these,yet she could at least be there for one of her events..in person.

Thus,even if she wanted to get angry,she just couldn't because all of this was done for her. JUST FOR HER.

Fei Shuang smiled brightly. "That's good. You all did a great job. Thank you'll so much."

"Is that so?" Feng Jiu's eyebrows went up. She didn't expect such nice words from her. She thought Fei Shuang would scold her for going against her words and making her worry for no reason but with such a bright smile,she wonder if Fei Shuang was satisfied.

"Yes,i'm so happy to be here today." Fei Shuang assured.

"Well then,let the party begin."
