Not Like In The Movies

"Did you... really mean that?" Fei Shuang struggled to speak as her eyes widened, "I thought you were just joking around back then."

"No I'm damn serious. You're going to be my maid of honor. All the wedding events will take place in Singapore so, you better pack up your bags cos we're flying on a private jet baby!" Feng Jiu looked at Fei Shuang as her face lit.

"Big Jiu!" ZhenZhu exclaimed. "This is gonna be amazing!"

Fei Shuang pinched her cheek as she spoke, "But—"

Feng Jiu shook her head as she cut her out. "No buts, remember you promised me yourself. I know it won't be like we used to when you were on your feet but just know that i'm okay with it. After i get married,i'd like for you to move in with me to Shangai. I'll find the best Doctors to treat you."

"Right." The rest of the ladies nodded their head agreeing except, for ZhenZhu who didn't like the idea of taking Fei Shuang away from her. But what could she do, Feng Jiu is known to be the first and closest person to Fei Shuang than any one of them. Thus, made an obvious unpleasant look on her face.

Upon hearing that, Fei Shuang's face suddenly turned blank. Worries began to appear on her mind as she thought of her therapy. Mr Shen clearly reminded her of how much she needed the therapy and must not be stopped at any cost. Judging from the number of days left for Feng Jiu's marriage, it's right in the middle of her appointment days which means it's almost impossible for her to attend. She really wanted to attend the wedding so bad but her body doesn't agree with her. What a pity she's now a handicapped.

'Why is life being so cruel?' Fei Shuang sobbed internally as she kept her thoughts aside. She later crossed her arm on her c.h.e.s.t as she took a glance at Feng Jiu's smiling face and sighed.

"Ok,but there is a problem."

"What is it now?" Feng Jiu suddenly raised her voice in annoyance when she heard Fei Shuang's words.

"I won't be able to attend your wedding physically because of my condition but ZhenZhu can represent me. It's not that i don't want to attend,i really do but Mr Shen has clearly warned me of the dangers that await if i miss my therapy sessions. But don't worry,since there's technology now we can do video call 24/7 that way,it'll be as if i'm there."

Feng Jiu froze on the spot when Fei Shuang told her that she won't attend her wedding. But that's so not fair,she matters a lot. There's no way she won't attend ...impossible. Not only Feng Jiu was shocked silly,even the ladies too! There's no way the wedding can take place with the ladies gang incomplete. They mumbled to each other disagreeing with Fei Shuang's decision.

"Are you saying this because the wedding's not going to take place here in China but in Malaysia or is it because you're embarrassed at yourself because of your condition? I can just cancel the events and the wedding can take place here in Beijing or just postpone the wedding until you get better, that way you'll have to attend the wedding in physique." Feng Jiu spoke with sadness all over her face.

"No, i'm not embarrassed and you can't do that. It has always been your dream to get married in a foreign country. I can't spoil your happiness just for my own selfishness. And besides, all the preparations made will go in vain and that's a huge loss. Just listen to me for once and follow your heart. Don't cancel anything nor postpone it, let the wedding take place in Singapore. I believe that all this was already written and i can't change fate."

Feng Jiu didn't say anything and only kept silent. She really wants the wedding to hold in

Singapore and she also want Fei Shuang to be there. She's to be her maid of honor for God's sake!

The rest of the ladies spoke out their own opinions and supported Fei Shuang's decision. Both Feng Jiu's dream and Fei Shuang's health matters. As long as ZhenZhu would be the one to display her via face time,everything will be alright.

After staying quiet for a very long time, Feng Jiu finally spoke with one word, "Ok."

One look and Fei Shuang could tell that Feng Jiu was not happy with the decision she made and decided to turn the tables.

"Mn, by the way, you two must have kissed countless of times. But, have you two done the jiggy-jiggy thing yet?" Fei Shuang chuckled as she suddenly throws a bomb almost making Feng Jiu fell from the sofa.

""Fei Shuang!"" Feng Jiu's face turned bright red when Fei Shuang mentioned jiggy-jiggy right in front of the ladies. It was a normal thing for the two of them to have such kind of conversations together but to actually say that in front of those silly women...it was embarrassing! They'll definitely make fun of her from now till the wedding day. Fei Shuang coughed as she glances at ZhenZhu and Su Ying. Both of them looked at her with a subtle grin on their face, them spoke out.

"Ah? You two already did it? Definitely not once so,not bad!"

"Yeah,it's a normal thing. We understand."

"How long did he lasts? Did he keep you awake all night?"

"Tell me,did you enjoyed it? Was he good? How big is his thing? 10?11..maybe 13?!"

The ladies grinned showing their cunning smile as they blurted out their thoughts. What made Feng Jiu even more surprised was the last comment by Miss White Head,which her embarrassment reached its peak. Her face flushed red like a tomato while her eyesight wandered everywhere. To be sincere,she shouldn't feel shy or embarrassed at all since it's a lady-gossip thing and they're more like a family but she couldn't help it. She hasn't admitted that she had s** with Tian Yi already but these women!!

"Doesn't it seem like you're blushing?" ZhenZhu's eyes sparkled as she looked at Feng Jiu with a weird gaze as if confirming their suspicions. Her childish behavior didn't slip from Fei Shuang's eyes at all.

"Looking at your reaction it seemed that it's true! Don't be shy,it's not like we're all v.i.r.g.i.ns in the first place. We understand if he's the first one you've done it with." Rui Ze followed the others to tease Feng Jiu to death. The women would look at each other with a naughty glint in their eyes. Their Big Jiu has finally found someone she cherished!

"D-doing?? We haven't done anything!!" Feng Jiu stood up from the sofa as she glared at them. She knew that these women love to tease each other especially concerning their love life. 'Did Fei Fei start the conversation because of how i bullied her a while ago of Doctor Shen? What a meanie!' Thinking about she and Tian Yi doing it is so embarrassing. Ahhh she wished she could bury herself in a hole to escape from these bullies.

"Oh what a shame.."

"Right,right, such a big shame!"

"What do you do now?"

"Have you forgotten how to make a man happy or is it that you're out of ideas?!"

"We've got a lot of ideas, both wild and crazy ones! Do you want us to teach you?" Rui Ze patted Feng Jiu on the shoulder as she made the woman to sit down again.

"Hmpf, t-teach me you say? No thanks!" Feng Jiu slapped Rui Ze's hand away from her shoulder after listening to what the woman said to her. She suddenly had goosebumps when her eyes met Fei Shuang's eyes. Why the heck are those silly women so perverted?!

'Sometimes having coffee with your bffs is all the therapy you need.' Fei Shuang spoke in he mind with a huge smile on her face as they continued their torturous teasing on the poor woman.

Feng Jiu walked a few distance away from them and sulked at the corner as she covered her face with her palm, unable to bear this humiliation she felt.

After the ladies left, ZhenZhu still felt worried as she thought of traveling without Fei Shuang while Fei Shuang on the other hand just started reading the so-called book Yu Yue gave her.

15 minutes later..

'This is unbelievable, this book make me feel so realistic.'

"Whoa, just as I expected!" Fei Shuang's eyes sparkled in excitement as she read the book. A fateful encounter at the street... Sounds familiar to those modern dramas she watched previously. She continued reading the book and her mind suddenly exploded at a certain chapter in the book.

Fei Shuang's eyes widened in surprise as she imagined the unbelievable sight in her head.

Luckily that she's read a lot relative stories in Webtoons and noticed that a lot of details are similar to real life, so people can feel related easily and thus,kept laughing whenever she read the book.

And before she knew,the sun set and it was dawn.
