The day you give birth just be inside the space and it will be less painful and you will give birth faster, even the recovery speed will be quite speedy. Hua Roulan knocked his head as he was about to leave and turned his body towards Liu Mei. ''She is not psychic. Tell her tasks. How ill she finish if she doesn't know it.''

''Is that all?'' Hua Roulan gave Liu Mei her sword and just kept her hidden weapons on her. Sh e put on villager clothes and used yellow mud to make her face and skin look ugly and old.

Xiao ran did the same thing but a little less. She used it to look just as villager child and they helped Liu Mei as well to look less attractive. But unfortunately, even with the dirty face and old clothes, she had certain bearing so she tried to change expressions and on end choose to limped a bit.

Looking at all three preparing themselves for their travels he sighed and took a small package out his sleeve. ''This is something you might need one day. Use it wisely.''

She opened the package and saw sort of seal.

"What is this?"

"This is no death seal of your kingdom. I stole it the other day from your husband's study. He never uses it so he won't even notice. And even if he noticed, he will know its with me. Or in this case, with you."

"Elder, this is too important. How can you give me such hot potato into my hands."

He looked at her in confusion. "What is a potato?"

"Its plant that you eat hot."

"Oh. I still don't understand your words." The expression on his face became even more confused so she just gave up.

"Never mind. This thing is too precious." She tried giving him back but he vehemently refused.

"You have the safest place in this world. Now, where is it safer, with me or with you. Young woman, I'm getting older, are you trying to kill me?" His face looked like he was bullied by her.

Xiao Ran just shook her head. This old man knows how to persuade her mistress. This is bad. But somewhat he had right. This thing now is dangerous to keep in the palace. If someone has the original forgiving note, then no matter what they did, they won't be touched by the Emperor or his family.

Dangerous for everyone. But it can save innocent lives.

Just when they finished and wanted to ask him more, they realized that he was long gone.

"We are great warriors and came to raid your country and take its natural resources." Xiao Ran just rolled her eyes and stared at him.

Hua Roulan took few coins and with bow presented it to him. "Forgive this child. We have been maltreated just while ago so she is still angry. Our sister has to go to warm well's to heal her bones. We will settle there in the hope to survive. To us, it doesn't matter south or north. As long as we can live normally."

The man just stated at three women that just had few bahs in their hands and sighed. "Our country is poor. Why choosing us?"

Liu Mei limped to him and shook her head. "Our country just had a dry period. Everything is burned where we live. Until everything starts growing again it will take a couple of years. Can we eat from eating clouds and drinking tears? Please give us a chance to survive." She bowed deeply while her body shook slightly.

Another guard just came as he couldn't stop himself listening and just waved his hand.

"Go, go. But don't say later we didn't warn you. Your country has a drought and our has strong winters."

Liu Mei bowed to him and with smile spike again. "After winter there will be summer. It's fine with us."

When they were gone the first soldier hit his head. "I forgot to write their names."

The second just patted his shoulders. "Does it matter. They need to go through so many forests and trough sump, do you think they will survive? Two women and a child. Even whole caravans disappear and they will survive? Reporting their entry will just give us more paperwork. Let us drink. I don't think that anyone would pass this late at night."

They were small outer post and usually only rarely would someone pass this way. Usually, people would walk through the main border. But as it seems these three found their post just by chance.

If they walked a bit further away they could just enter the country without anyone noticing. The first soldier stilled. Maybe they just wanted to walk in the road and not trough bushes. That would be suspicious.

"Stop overthinking. What can those three do? Raid the country?" The two men look at each other and started drinking. There is nothing else to do. They were bored...
