"Emperor, everything is ready. Its time to join the celebration." The servants stood there ready to put clothes in him.

He just smiled sarcastically. For so long he lived like a caged animal and the cage became less uncomfortable since he met her.

But now they are tying his legs and putting even collar around his neck to make him obedient. Is that what they want? They will get more than they wanted tonight.

With slow steps, he entered the bath and let them bath him with the oils she prepared beforehand. Then he looked at the u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r and let them cloth him.

This is the first time for a long time that he used servants for clothing him. He could feel their hands on him as they put clothes on his body and felt highly disgusted. Even now some of them tried to curry favour with him, in this crazy situation?

His hair was cammed into a bun and as his coronet was put on he already felt woozy as one of the servants softly slid her hand one more time over his head and shyly with red face walked backwards coyly looking at him.

Disgusting. No wonder she hated people touching her and she felt disgusted even by thinking that other women touch him. Even he felt the whole pack disgusting.

But, it's not time yet. With a short glance at her, he smirked evilly and walk out while she patted her heart in happiness. She thought she had a chance and proudly rose her nose while the main servant just shook his head. It seems another dead person for a mass grave.

He chose to enter grandly. This time he will make it grand. After all, its last time...

The procession had to go around half of the palace to enter the celebration grounds and when he entered he saw people prostrating themselves in front of him.

Lower officials, higher officials, ministers, nobles and then royals. in mid of them on the highest point, the two old women waited for his arrival. Is this their wish as well.

He looked at Dowagers's face and saw her having another wrinkle in between her eyebrows. She was angry and displeased while she stood there and waited.

His heart felt suddenly somehow lighter. At least one person, at least one person...

He took her hand and just squeezed lightly. He could see her pale face and puffy eyes. It seems she was really angry this time.

"Don't worry, I won't give them the kingdom so easily. I am after all unreasonable Emperor."

She released a breath and nodded.

"I know. Just when you started being finally happy... That child."

"She closed doors. It seems I was rush and said stupid things."

"Liu Mei is stronger than you think. Her heart is small but for this country..."

"I want her to think about me only. Just me and her."

"You foolish boy. You have so many women literally throwing themselves at you, you think she likes it? I fear that she will change. From small rabbit into a ferocious tiger. If she does that, to control her, it will be impossible. Ever."

"Then I will turn into a bunny in her stead. I am willing." He pressed his lips and looked at everyone bowing and kowtowing at him. Only two people bowed lightly and sat down right after that.

He laughed loudly.

Everyone turned their head and saw him with an icy expression staring at the two people. His voice was filled with ice.

"Good to know that in your country you have no respect. From now on all the people in my country will treat you just the same as you treat me, the Emperor."

One of the ministers stood up and rushed in front of Emperor. He prostrated himself and kowtowed deeply while hitting his head on the floor.

"Please Emperor forgive them, forgive them. They are precious children and they never kowtowed to anyone..." Suddenly he fainted as one of the guards literally hit his body with his foot and he flew down the long stairs and was knocked out.

Silence enveloped whole ground. Few ministers looked at each other and slowly approached and started kowtowing bow silently.

He rose his eyebrows. This is interesting.

"So are you as well kowtowing. Continue. Let's see how long you can handle it. My oral Edict. Whoever thinks they want to kowtow instead of Prince and Princess, sure, come forward."

He had a huge warm smile on his face and glanced at the two people that neither looked at him or at the ministers while their faces became paler and paler.

Few more ministers joined in, many lower and higher officials and just one noble. Royals just sat as the side and looked at a whole bunch of people hitting their heads to the floor.

He smiled even brighter and clapped his hands.

"Musicians. Make music, this seems to me like dance more. Hurry, something that has that same beat. At least I won't hear them cracking their heads. As they are silently protesting, let them stay silent. If any of them tries to say even one word cut his tongue, bake it on nearby fire and make him eat it."

Everyone shook as they heard his words.

He waved his hand with a big smile.

"Start the feast. After all, we have someone here who is more important than this lowly Emperor. Let's celebrate them! Cheers!"

His cheerful voice was scarier than if he was angry roaring. Everyone shook while trying to drink.

The two people sat there not knowing how to react. They already heard that he was despotic and unreasonable but this unreasonable, it was just too much.

As the group of people knocked their head right in front of them they could hear their head ads cracking and could smell blood as it started dripping on the completely white stones, tinting it scarlet red.

Few people already fainted and were dragged away while rest had to continue until they didn't faint as well. Few servants came with water and flushed it towards the prince and princes making them fl.u.s.tered.

Finally, he couldn't stand it anymore. The prince stood up and looked ta the Emperor with a dark expression. ''Is this how this empire is receiving high guests?''

''Is that how high guests treat your ruler? We call it two-way fate.'' Emperor smiled at him while he waved his hand and the whole bucket of blood was poured straight over his head. ''This is the blood of those people that pleaded for you. Their blood will stick on you for the rest of your life. Traitors of the country don't deserve a better fate. I heard in your country you fry traitors on high fire in some strange entrapment while all officers look with their families and small children. I wouldn't do that to the children in my country. But trowing blood at the perpetrator of their death I would.''

''You...'' Finally, she jumped up as she couldn't hold on anymore. ''You dare! Do you want war?''

''War? Hhahahahha. Such a small country. If I get angry I might just cross the bridge that we make and make your tiny bit of land part of my Empire. You think my country is your playground!''

He finally roared making her step back, but seeing his manly face and his heroic bearing her heart shook and greed to own him became even larger. ''Do you even know who I am?''

''Your father sent you to me to do whatever I want. He never said I have to marry you. I will just keep you as my servant. Hmmm, our outhouse servant last night died, you can take her place. After all, cleaning my royal pot is important to function.'' His calm voice made her completely speechless.

''I... never.'' She would never lover herself to do such things.

''Never? Why not? You are just one more woman in my place. To me beath and background mean literally nothing. I even took Imperial Noble Consort that was married before. Why should I keep someone so useless? Or cleaning my night pots or going back home. Two choices.''

Suddenly a royal rose his hand and bowed deeply and respectfully towards Emperor. ''May I speak please?''

His uncle, as usual. But this time he had sarcastic expression while looking at the princess. Uh? This is interesting. What is he doing?

''I can't and will not stop you. Speak.'' He was really curious about what this old sneaky man had to say.

''What this prince wanted to say...'' The way he said it made everyone gasp and hold breath as not to start laughing. ''...she feels that we made a huge mistake and should hurriedly appoint her as Empress. Quickly!'' The sarcasm was literally dripping from his words. He rolled his eyes and sat down not commenting even one more word.

Look. Unbelievable! That old geezer... How cute. He found him suddenly cute...

He coughed to hide chuckle and seriously looked ta her. ''I would like to know what made Princes believe that I will obey such thing?''

She stared at him with big eyes completely dazed by his smile. ''Well, they said I was...''

Suddenly a big door opened and a loud voice could be heard.
