New World's Empress

The Emperor wanted to surprise Liu Mei, so he arrived before her to her palace. But as he wanted to come closer he saw that lunatic rushing towards Liu Mei and he just snapped.

In just couple of steps he came closer and slapped her so hard that she flew away, hit the floor and rolled on the floor a few times before stopping. Her servants fell on their knees but luckily for them, he didn't give damn about them.

With slow steps, he approached her and then crouched next to her and looked at her face that was filled with dirt and sand from the floor. He sighed and stood up. ''It is true that I am not hurrying to become one with you. But you are my woman now. How can you let anyone hit you? Hmmm, what should I do? Give you more people? Is there anyone who would be willing to work for you?''

Suddenly few small heads could be seen on the main gate. ''We want!'' Then they rushed, jumped over unconscious Rong Hou and almost slid on their knees towards Emperor.

Looking at these few children he chuckled. ''This place is not very favored and you are willingly put yourself to live here. Are you sure?''

The children nodded while the oldest girl in group started speaking. ''Your Highness, miss Liu is maybe not favored, but she is a good person. All her servants live quiet, but happy life. She cares about everyone around her, we just feel that she has not enough people caring about her. We are ready to sign a life and death agreement and stay by her side until the end of our days. No matter good or bad days. If we are together we will survive. I am sure.''

That passionate speech made everyone in room speechless. Liu Mei chuckled and slowly approached. She remembered these children and nodded. ''I will let you be by my side. But at the moment I do not eat meat so my servants joined in my fasting. You think you kids can handle it?.''

Without even thinking all of them nodded. ''No problem. As long there is any food, we are fine.'' Unfortunately that sentence implied that they were not fed enough.

Emperor's face became dark as he suddenly could feel cold stare at his head from Liu Mei's side. He looked at children and then at other servants and realized some things he didn't notice so far. It seems he must inquire about these matters soon as well.

He pointed ta Rong Hou and sighed. ''Bring her back to her room. She is forbidden to eat tomorrow the whole day. It's her punishment. And her name won't be mentioned next one month. I do not wish either her or her family members near me for a while. Understood?!''

That was clear Edict and when he turned his head to look at Liu Mei, she already turned her back and started walking towards her house. In surprise he became speechless. ''She really just turned around? It seems I need to speak to her. Maybe I did something wrong... But what?''

He started nibbling his lips and was about to leave when he saw those children still kneeling. ''You can all stay here. Xiao Ran will give you assignments. One of you should stay and start to clean this place. Seriously, how dirty is it? And wash the spot where that woman was lying around. It feels like that is the dirtiest spot.''

Then he turned around and rushed towards the house while the few small servants jumped up and searched for brooms.

Inside main room Liu Mei started ordering. "Bring hot water for tea and all of you leave us alone. I need to speak to him. Xiao Ran, go and check those children. You go with her. I need to be alone, completely." She winked at Hua Roulan.

She just chuckled. "Fine, I will keep his people busy outside." She need to see that person and state holes into his face.

When Emperor came he found her standing calmly and waiting for him. He strode towards her bit then stopped. As he looked around he couldn't see not even one servant in room.

"No one is serving you?" His face became dark but small hand patted his arm and made him speechless.

Liu Mei chuckled. "I told you that I lived like commoner all my life. Please, sit. I feel that we need to talk. You came that's why, right?"

As she pushed him lightly towards the chair with her soft hands, inside his body lit a fire. He started breathing deeply as he tried to control himself.

Unfortunately, Liu Mei misunderstood that. She froze as she saw his breath becoming heavier. ''If you hate my touches so much, how we gonna... Sigh... "

The moment her hand left his arm he felt huge sense of loss. "I don't hate your touch. Really." He stood up and with just two steps he was in front of her.

Just now she realized how tall this man was. She was not short that is true, but his built made her feel tiny. She had to almost break her neck just to get glance at him as her head was only to his c.h.e.s.t.

As she rose her head to look at his face, for the first time in her life, her heart skipped the beat. Her cheeks became hot and pink color spread on them.

Somehow she felt that they were bit too close so she stepped back. Who would have thought he would have followed.

He maybe didn't have women in his bed but he knew still many things. Looking at her reaction his heart started beating harder. He made a decision, he must capture this little rabbits heart now. It might be too late later on.

Step by step she moved back and hit the nearby table. As she turned to see what was behind he put both of his hands on her sides, holding the table and her body in between.

His face came closer and closer...
