My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

In a beautiful villa in the Green Valley area,

A man was sitting on a chair, enjoying his coffee in the balcony of his villa which overlooked a garden filled with many and plants bearing fruits and colourful flowers in full bloom, which now basked in the red sunlight of the dusk. The man was wearing a casual t-shirt and shorts. His wide and broad shoulders and strong muscles were slightly visible through his shirt. His facial features included a sharp jawline and beautiful grey eyes. The current peaceful looked like a beautiful picture come to life.

John Parker decided to spend his evening in peace, enjoying his evening coffee and overlooking some doc.u.ments from the office. He had decided to take over The World conglomerate from his grandpa from Monday. To develop a deeper understanding of the workings and internal management of the company, he decided to visit the company in advance and gather as much information as possible in secret, the announcement of Grandpa Parker's retirement and his takeover was to be announced on Monday so his visits were made secret and the whole information was known to selected personnel only.

He had prepared a special list of people who were to be either promoted or demoted based on their work. He had made a lot of plans to make some changes in the policies of the company and to improve the efficiency of the employees and to boost their morale. Grandpa Parker was very impressed and was satisfied with his decision of leaving all the company matters to be managed by John. He believed that his grandson was indeed capable and had prepared an excellent report about important matters, issues and possible solutions to the issues within a mere week.

John had just finished making some changes when he received the notification that his father had come over to meet him. He went downstairs and opened the door to find his father had come over with a basket filled with fresh fruits.

"Hello father, thank you for bringing me fruits"

"Hello son, How have you been?"

They continued their conversation after moving inside and settling down on the sofa in the living room. John handed a cup of water to his father. After accepting it he continued, "I have been doing well; your mom will be here probably after her shoot in Bali. Hmm...."

Seeing his dad hesitating before saying nay further John sighed and said, "Dad, I know that you are not here to talk with me about my well being or talk about mom either, we had this conversation over the call yesterday remember? So whatever it is I think you should go ahead with it."

"Uh... Right, Right I was here to tell you about something very important" he didn't know to pass the information to his son without breaking his sweat. Oh, why did he inherit the same scrutinizing and deep gaze of his grandfather which was very intimidating? After gathering up some courage he said,

"I have you up for a date. You are already 26 and will turn 27 this year, you do not even have a girlfriend so just listen to me this one time. She is really pretty and the daughter of my best friend." He took out an envelope and put it on the coffee table. "Here are her pictures and some information about her. I know you very well so I got someone to compile some data on her but it is not complete data. I did not want to interfere too much with her personal life and I will advise you the same. If you want to know her to get to know..."

Before he could continue his endless chatter, John interrupted him midway through his speech.

"Dad, I am very much not interested in these blind dates and arrangements. I think when it will be a perfect time, I will indeed look into these matters but now I have a lot to do and achieve before these matters." Before agreeing to your arrangements I have to look for her.
